Happy and loved -Sunnyside Posts: 7,781 Group: A Rank Legend Member #9,839 Joined: March 16, 2009	It was a normal, cold winter in the forest. Snow flakes were hitting and piling up on the ground as it got closer to dark. Three children, Alex, Amelia, and the newest member of the family, Aloe, were walking by themselves. Cue and Alexis were in the 'Vampire' Side of the forest, were they had important business to attend. So it was up to Amelia, the most maturest of the three, to keep watch. She was younger than Alex, who was seven. She was six, and Aloe was three. He didn't know any better since he was young, so he was a danger to humans. If any scent of blood caught him, he would immediately go after it. Both Alex and Amelia could control themselves against blood now. They could also choose between blood and normal food as well. While walking, Alex stopped, looking around. "I'm hungry.." he said. "Haven't eaten in days." He rubbed his tummy as it growled loudly like a horn. He turned to Amelia and asked, "Know where we can get something to eat?" Aloe, the short one, stood next to him and glanced at the two. Aloe had the hair of Alexis, his mother, but not the red stripes. His hair was shorter as it hadn't grown out completely just yet. He wore a black-greish shirt that went from shoulder to toe. He had on little booties and a diaper that he wore. Most of the time, he would be found on the back of Amelia or Alex. Alex worse a red jacket with black baggy pants. He had black shoes with three large white laces. He also had a white pair of gloves he wore, and black fur. His quils were exactly like Cue's, but shorter and stood up just a few more inches, maybe two or five. Since Alexis and Cue were gone for a period of time, supposedly a year or so, it was up to Amelia and Alex to watch each others backs. If not, Aloe would go missing, and soon things would go bad. They couldn't turn to Star, who had gone to live with his sister, and they couldn't turn to Paris or Anna, who had gone to live by themselves somewhere in another part of the world.

Aloe held his little arms in the air, wanting to be picked up by Amelia. He looked up at her with his big eyes and he got on his toes. "I'm not so sure about that.."

I picked Aloe up and hugged him, then set him on my hip. "It's not that bad...what they don't know won't hurt them..we won't give Aloe any..." I said quietly. ALEXIS: I heard everything that she was saying..I ighed adn transmitted the convo to Cue and facepalmed. "It's your turn.." i muttered under my breath. "I had to dal with them last time." I added.

"But we could still-!" he said, but stopped. He stared at Cue, wide-eyed, in fear. He couldn't get any words out of his mouth, or any air for that matter. Cue stood behind Amelia, his arms folded. He looked down at her in a calm posture, and then asked, "Won't hurt us? What do you mean by that?"

"I mean...really who's going to miss a few people? Dad won't find out, I do it all the time behind his back." When I noticed his expression suddenly change I looked at Alex confused, then a jolt of fear burst through me and made me want to throw up when I heard my dad's voice behind me. I yelped and jumped a bit, slowly turning around to face him and loking up at him. "U-u-um...n-nothing....?" I asked, shaking with fear. It was visible, I looked like I was shivering from cold but my expression made the cause of the shivering obvious. "A-actually, it means that y-you won't f-find out basically..." I said, I thought that if I told the truth before Cue forced me by reading my thoughts then it would be better, then gulped and tried to make myself as small as possible. ALEXIS: I looked back at them and cringed slightly. -Oh danget Cue...your going to scare her, then beat her to death arent you..?- I asked him in his mind, still cringing visibly.

Cue asked her in a loud voice, as if he was outraged. "Daddy!' Aloe cheered, jumping down and running to him as fast as he could. He tripped in front of Cue, but Cue caught him and and held him on his hip. He sighed at Amelia, and then warned, "Amelia, I've told you over and over...if a HUMAN sees ANYONE OF YOU, he'll report it, and we'll be hunt down. There are LAWS we have ABIDE BY, AMELIA!" He felt like giving her a beating she'd never forget, but he decided not to, only because Aloe was here. "And YOU, Alex," Cue said. "I-I wasn't going to kill a human! It was Amelia's plan from the start!" he admitted. "Don't hit me!"

AMELIA: I yelped out and cringed, still shaking in fear. "Y-yeah.. so what..? WHo cares if they see us....?' She asked him, sounding snappy. "And yes I have been doing it for years....geez it's not hard..." I muttered, crossing my arms and glring at the ground. -Cue's an idiot..- I thought in my brain, then cirnged hoping he wasn; redin my mind too.

We'll be hunt down by other vampires, and they'll take our life away. And of course it's not hard, but if you were smart, you'd know not to kill a human." Cue was silent when he was called an idiot. He growled at Amelia and grabbed her, pulling him to him. He turned her over and began spanking her on her hiney, making loud crashing sounds each time he landed a hit on her. "I'M AN IDIOT!?" he yelled at her, hitting her harder. Aloe looked at Alexis and smiled, holding his hands in the air. He poked her cheek and then looked around, raising his hands in the air with a smile and bit of laughter. "Mom, is dad going to kill her?" Alex asked, worriedly.

I screamed and cried hard, kicking. ALEXIS: "No..just...if she;s smart she won;t get hit but if she has an attitude she;s going to be punished.." I said, knowig cue that's exactly what would happen.

"Alexis, we gotta get going and we can't come back to the end of this year. This is the last time, we've been coming back and forth." Aloe patted Alexis cheek's and then smiled, laughing, leaning back. Alex was slightly worried.

ALEXIS: "What do you mean? What happened?" I asked, confused.

"Any further leavings will cause that 'vampire-guy' to go raging at us and getting his other vampires to kill us. As parents, we have to stay one year with other vampires because of some...'tradition' or something." "You're going to be gone for a YEAR!?" Alex yelled. "WHO'S GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! WHO'S-" Cue stopped him. "Amelia," he said. "She'll keep you in charge." Alex gaped. "AMELIA CAN'T BE TRUSTED AT ALL! SHE'S A CRAZY PHYSCO PATH!" Alex squealed louder and move around more as Alex got louder.

"SHUT UP!" I yelled. ALEXIS: "Cue..we can;t leave the kids..how..what..." I sighed and st down, curling up into a ball like I used to do when I was confused or sad.

Cue said, facepalming. "Look, Alexis, we can't get in contact with Star, nor can we with Anna and Paris. They HAVE to learn how to survive on their own.." "YOU STUPID WHORE!" Alex yelled at Amelia, punching her in the eye and kicking her in her stomach. "DON'T HIT ME!" He pushed her on the ground and began stomping on her.
