Ewww... I was hoping they wouldn't make another one. The concept is meh imo and the Wii controls obliterate the gameplay.

Don't tell me what I can or can't do!

It was no secret there'd be another. So I'm pretty sure this is true. I hope one day they make a platformer with Mario and Sonic though. But I'm not sure if that'll happen.

I believe that making an actual platformer with Mario and Sonic in it would be akin to making a racing game that crosses Gran Turismo with Burnout. Back when Sonic was more platformer-oriented than he is today, maybe it'd be more plausible...

Maybe. xD

Not another one of these... aside from Brawl, I hate Mario/Sonic games together. It's not a real pure Sonic game to me.

I don't like them being combined into games... I see it as a joke just like the crappy Crash/Spyro games on GBA.

The game sold really well, so there making another because of that. Makes perfect sense.

*smashes head on desk*

Bad game alert... I'm sorry.. I don't care how well it sold, it only does well because the Wii has NO good games half the time and because the combined nostalgia of Sonic and Mario could make a tea party game interesting. The first was a complete and utter bust and I don't expect much more of the sequel. Somehow Mario will be just as fast e.t.c. and now they'll be snowboarding among other things for sure...

I can imagine it now.. Sonic Curling.. god..

See the funny thing is that while you may not care, SEGA do care. And when a game sells a lot you generally make more of said game. Its the basic rule of business. Regardless of what reviewers and the online gaming community think who probably only made a smalll fraction of the games sales anyway. A game like this will sell a lot more then a mario and sonic platformer, and bring in more profit.

Quoted for truth.

This game is less official of a Sonic game than Brawl is... at least Brawl is a combo of all games to make it a fighter. This is just mixing Sonic with fat boy plumber and playing boring sports games. Wii Sports is better. No offense, I find this game really lame and it hurts to see my favorite franchise with Mario, other than Brawl.

Congrats to a game where Bowser can outrun Sonic...

Congrats to the few of you for holding the series to the canon standards of the two franchises when you very well know it isn't, and excusing Brawl because of its genre is just illogical when it does the exact same thing this series is doing-- crossing franchises and skewing the characters' abilities.

If this and biased stereotypes against party games are the most people can find to fault the series on instead of actual gameplay issues, then it's easy to assume there isn't actually anything wrong with the first title and you're just emanating nerd rage. xP
