Modern Warfare 2 map pack; a ridiculous price

 The first Modern warfare 2 map pack is coming to xbox live on march 30, and seeing how millions of copies of the game has sold, you'd think the developers would want to show their appreciation to gamers right? Wrong. They're charging 1200 microsoft points, a whopping $15 dollars for 5 measely maps, and two of them are remakes of CoD 4 maps. I'm really disgusted at this.

 What did you expect from Activision? They call all of the shots, hence why they were able to fire the co-founders of IW and fire them from making COD.

 Well the guys at Activision thought it would be a splendid idea to put strippers in GDC. Maybe this is just paying off the cost.

 I'm pretty sure that they should put the price at 600-800 microsoft points. 1200 is the price for a campaign add-on and map packs. Jeez, infinity ward has alreadt screwed up on this map pack and it isin't even out yet.

 I have already got it ready to download to my 360. Now all I got to do is connect it to the xbox live. Sadly I won't be able to do that until at least thursday. I hate being 18 and still dealing with my parents rules. I even live on my own and they still give me crap about it. I'm glad I am moving to my grandma's soon. I will finally have a little more freedom.

 Dice is taking advantage of this rip-off, they've already stated that they will NEVER charge you for BBC2 maps. :D I think it's kind of ridiculous that they are charging when we have games like Unreal Tournament that get tons for free.

No, what you got to do is buy the origanal Call Of Duty like those angry Sonic fans are doing with Sonic 1. That'll show them XD .

IW didn't work on the new map packs, they left Activision, didn't you hear?

Anyways, i just don't play MW2 enough to buy these. And 15 dollars? Sheesh. Though you do get 7 days of XBL free when you buy them. But i heard these new map packs are garbage anyway, so i doubt i'll get them.

 IW had already developed the map pack before they left Activision. Activision set the price.

Also, look at TF2. They've added tons of new official maps for the low low price of free, and it has support for custom maps. Since MW2 took the retarded move to remove dedicated servers, you can't even do that.

What is the difference between a duck?

 I don't care enough about CoD4 to spend $15 on a map pack for it. If they decide that a majority of multiplayer games will be carried out on them from now on then I will test the waters of the game, if too shallow.. I will sell high and be done with CoD.
