Doubt I'll get it though. I've tried to get into FF before, but me and the series just don't mix. Besides, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition came out today too, and that's what I'm REALLY after Maybe I'll make a topic about that after I get a copy. Edited by Nail Strafer, Mar 9 2010, 11:23 AM.

Show...Off Posts: 4,912 Group: Former Monarchs Member #70 Joined: May 12, 2006	My brother was trying to figure out whether to get this or not, I'm pretty sure he's decided yes now I just got into the FF games, I've almost played all the Final Fantasy VII games, I LOVE them. I just beat the original FF VII, and just bought a copy of Dirge of Cerberus for PS2. Love the story & characters. I would like to complain about the names of the characters, though. Snow and Lightning? Eh, Iunno about that. The dude with the fro and a chocobo in his hair is awesome, though xD And that's awesome it comes with exclusive content!

Well, I didn't really liked the more tactical turn based system, were you'll have a predestined time to select your choice, or get beaten. Don't know whether this still adds to the old series, but that's what at least make me look for other alternatives. Perhaps when prises drop down a notch I may think about it.

ahem...FALCON PUNCH!!! Posts: 1,565 Group: S Rank Hero Member #1,516 Joined: June 27, 2007	I read a couple of reviews, and i'm surprised that it didn't get higher scores in all of them. Mostly it was like 7/10, 4/5 etc. I would've expected it to get 9/10 or 5/5. Still might try it though, the visuals look amazing.

I'm really looking forward to that one Noctis looks like an awesome character, plus it'll be the "darkest" and more "mature" Final Fantasy game yet. Although I love the more happy side of FF, I'd like to see how this turns out Final Fantasy XIII Trailer Now back on topic... I'm utterly shocked that X-Play gave Final Fantasy XIII a 4/5. Especially after saying how the original Final Fantasy VII is overrated. And giving Crisis Core a 2/5 and Dirge of Cerberus a 2/5. But I really don't take their reviews seriously, just watch it for gameplay, like most people do now. Edited by Vermillion, Mar 9 2010, 10:23 PM.

It has sold 450,000 in the Americas alone in one day. Not surprisingly, 2/3s of those sells come from the PS3 version. I'm terribly sorry to say that it's VGChartz reporting this, so it could be completely false(as they are unreliable). I have heard you can only control one character through the game, that's a little disappointing, as well as their isn't really a free roam in it. I guess their trying to make this Final Fantasy more accessible to the general gaming community, which is cool. But I'm hoping Versus is a lil more like FF7 or FFX.
