The Advent of Byalza Arceus has awakened, stirred from his eternal rest by an unsettling event. The rulers of Space, Time, and Distortion, through encounters that were never supposed to occur, have created rifts in the fragile fabric of the Universe, and in doing so, they have awoken both its Creator, and, unknown to Arceus, it's Destroyer, Byalza. Now, with the universe seemingly at peace, and it's creator oblivious, Byalza advances unchallenged toward an unsuspecting Earth, determined to complete what it had begun millenia ago. The destruction of the planet that had been the stage of his defeat. Meanwhile, on spear pillar, The legendary time traveling Pokemon, Celebe, returns to the present time, shaken by what it has just seen, destruction, death, and despair. It remembers what had caused it and was driven to avoid such an event from ever occuring. Returning to this time for a reason, the time traveler awaits the appearance of a certain brethren. Soon after, a portal appeared in a brilliant display and its conjurer steps out, standing tall and proud, it is the temporal pokemon, Dialga. Celebe slowly approaches the much powerful creature, calling out meekly. The adamant deity takes notice of Celebe's distress and beckons it to relay it's trouble. Celebe tries it's best to retell what it had seen. Dialga's eyes suddenly widen as Celebe's tale manifests in it's mind. Unbeknown to Dialga and Celebe, the guardian of the distortion world, Giratina, was also listening in on the small green pokemon, it's eyes too grew wide when it thought of what would happen to its home should Celebe's account come true. The Serpentine pokemon quickly opened a bridge between it's world and ours, startling Celebe and even Dialga, who floated off to the right to avoid a collision, the form of the Renegade pokemon tore through the hole and in a stunning display, its form shifted until it coalesced into a winged, hexapedial form. The winged beast shot a very loud chirping shriek at Dialga, who responded with a low growl. Then it did the same with Celebe, instructing it to repeat what it had said to Dialga. When Celebe had repeated it's distress, the two deities exchanged severely troubled looks and knew what must be done, Calling out to the Heavens, they caused a third portal to appear, it was a brilliant pink in hue, and through it came the ruler of Space, Palkia, eyes glowing with a heated fury, in a malevolent tone, it demanded why it had been summoned. Dialga directed it to Celebe, Palkia landed with a large crash and lowered to face the small creature face to face. Celebe was extremely intimidated by the presence of the three deities, but somehow it still found the courage to relay it's tale a final time. The rage in Palkia's eyes subsided swiftly, replaced by a troubled look shared by Giratina and Dialga, it turned to look at them, getting slight nods from each. Palkia turned back to Celebe, and with a soft growl, thanked it for all it had done. A weak smile became visible on the time traveler as it returned to another, safer time. While Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina gathered their collective energies to do something they have never attempted, travel to the Realm of Arceus. Through the primordial portal they traveled, until they emerged in an unparalleled dimension of wonder. Where the creator of all that was surveyed his realm. Stopping violently at the Presence of his sons and stricken with an unnatural worry at what could bring them here. He queried their sudden arrival. Relaying the message from Celebe, the eyes of the Creator, suddenly were filled with a distress like no other. Taking swift action, he instructed the three to return to Earth and protect it at any cost. They did as they were instructed and left Arceus' realm. "How? How could I have been so blind as not to feel his presence? I suppose it's far too late for questions, he must be prevented from returning to Earth, or else everything I hold dearest to me will perish." "They will all suffer, for what they did to me!" In the deep recesses of the Cosmos, in the deepest celestial pit, in the coldest region of the Universe. A presence of pure evil stirred from an eternal slumber. banished to this wretched place by the one who created it. The memories still flooded its mind, fueling its infinite fury. As it struggled to burst forth from its glacial prison, dark surges of energy pulsed through the plain of creation, its effects being felt everywhere. On the planet known as Earth. Sudden shifts in the magnetic field caused abnormal weather patterns to form, grabbing the attention of scientists everywhere. Taking an initiative to find the source of the strange anomalies, the scientist came upon a haunting find. The devilish creature continued its struggle to free itself, sending ever increasing surges of power flowing through the universe, creating order from chaos, and chaos from order. Finally, through an enormous exertion of power fueled by unearthly hatred, the mystic prison shattered with unimaginable force. The beast had been freed, through the blackness of space it blended in like a shadow among shadows. All but its blazing red eyes and luminous designs bled into the shadow of space. "I, am free, my vengeance will be complete, and I will make him watch as I destroy all he holds dear." The destroyer groaned before advancing sluggishly out of the pit. |

(oh um ok then... i guess i'll start us off then?) It was a bright sunny day, X was resting in his apartment, flipping channels, trying to find something to watch. "No..." "Oh my gosh! You broke the lamp!" "No..." "Lets go have an adventure!" "No..." "Lets count! one flower! Two flower three flower! Four!! Four flow--" "Heck no!!" He shouted as he flipped through the channels. He pressed the power button and turned it off. "The only thing interesting to watch is the news... And that's just boring..." He said. "Why not check out the weird weather patterns that've been going on around the world?" Demon suggested. "Oh boy, that sounds fun..." X said sarcastically. Demon gave him an angry look, "Why not take your one of your Pokemon out for a walk?" X looked over at his poke'balls. "Hmm... Eeh why not." X jumped out of the chair, walked over and grabbed all of the balls. "Lesse here... Eenie meenie... Miney--you" He said picking one and putting the rest of the balls on the ground. "Aah my favorite... Go!!" the pokeball hit the ground, opened up and a pikachu came out. "Pi!! Pikachu!!" It smiled. "Wanna go for a walk?" He asked it. It smiled again and shook it's head. "Pi! Pi!!" It said happily. X looked at the fire escape. "Well then! Lets get going!" He ran to the fire escape, and jumped off it, kicking off the wall and grinding on the stairs, he grabbed the railing, flipped off of it and landed on his feet on the ground. "Come on down pikachu!" He shouted. "Pi!!" It said as it jumped from the fire escape and into X's arms. "Who's my favorite little buddy! You are! Yes you are!" He said giving it a slight nookie. It laughed. X looked up and turned around as a bystander looked at him. "What? what's so strange about giving your Pokemon a nookie?" X asked. "Well thats fine... Just not what you said." X rolled his eyes, grunted and placed pikachu on the ground. "Come on lets get going!" H smiled and began to walk along the street. (how's this? or did i do it wrong?) |

Around this time, a trainer was now waking up from his sleep. He then later ate breakfast, took a shower, got dressed and decided to walk outside. He noticed the strange weather patterns, but he could really care less thinking it was only nature doing its work for some odd reason. It wasn't raining nor snowing, but there were strong winds with the sky filled with clouds, simply because there are clouds doesn't mean that it would rain or snow he figured. Later he was in a small forest with his guitar playing a song he heard once on a radio. He didn't have a music sheet since he can recall a guitar song as he tries to play the song as its playing. Julie sat up in her bed and stretched her arms out as the sunshine lit up her Villa. As she got out of bed, she took a white thin remote from her nightstand and turned on the stereo. A charming, lighthearted tune started playing as she began to get dressed. After changing out her night gown and into her usual clothes, she did her hair and brushed her teeth. She turned on the TV as she drunk a cup of hot chocolate. "This is Helen with the weather. Today we are experiencing something absolutely incredible- Snowpoint City is going through a Heat Wave!" "What?" Julie snapped surprised as she pulled herself away from the kitchen. "That's right, folks. Not only that, but there seems to be signs of a blizzard heading towards the Resort Area." Julie clicked the TV off, grabbed her fanny pack and stepped outside. Soon enough, started snowing there in the Resort Area. "I can't believe this..." she said in shocked as the cold snow fell on her hands. It had formed right out of nowhere and the temperature had dropped almost instantly. "Something's definitely up," she said as she took out a Pokeball. "Torch, help me out." This said, an Infernape came out from her Pokeball. "We'll visit Rush some other time. Right now, we may have an emergency." As soon as she finished talking, Julie ad her Pokemon set out towards the Fight Area. |

Angel Island Act 1

"Hey, what happened to the sun?" Liam thought, opening his eyes. He was lying on a beach towel outside his villa. A friend of his family's had payed for it, yet it had been up to Liam to buy the furniture inside. He looked up, noticing that grey clouds were gathering. Next to him, a familiar song blarred from his iPod on its speakers "...W-B-X Crime and the City...." he heard, glad that he had burned that song off the internet. "Blaze-Blaze!!!" he heard coming from inside the villa, Liam turning the song off. "What Blaziken? Liam thought as he rolled up his towel and pulled his shirt on, grabbing the mp3, walking toward the door. Suddenly, a tall, red and white humanoid chicken appeared at the door, grabbed Liam's arm and pulled him infront of the TV. "Wha-" Liam started, before noticing the news was on On it, there were feature stories about bizarre weather patterns like; cold front in Lavaridge, rain in the deserts, hail on the Indigo Platue. "This is just too weird" Liam said, picking up Blaziken's pokeball, withdrawing the flame pokemon back inside. He got dressed and grabbed his backpack. "Time to find out what is what " he said, grabbing another pokeball, and summoning a giant bird, Pidgeot Liam jumped on his feathered friend's back, the two soaring off into the sky, which now had a creepy aurora under the clouds. Jax yawned, then streched. She had been at Silver Cave, one of the few places where there were dangerous enough wild Pokemon to actually be a challenge, not to mention the rumours of the ghost of a powerful Trainer in the cave. So far she hadn't been lucky, but hey, she probably just wasn't looking in the right places. Jax looked at the sky. A few dark clouds were brewing in the east, near the Indigo Plateau. She sighed. Another day in the cave. For one, she didn't have a flying Pokemon, simply because she didn't want anything other than feline or canine-like Pokemon, and she would have to pass by some guards, which meant interacting with people. But instead of a nice, sunny day, a torrential rainfall had been greeting her everyday for the past week. "This is way too unusual. This city never gets that much rainfall in an entire week. Heck, this is more then they get in six months!" The young woman complained. |

Jax sighed, and her voice echoed through the cave. "Jolteon, Flash!" She commanded. After hearing it's slightly high-pitched "Perrerrerri!" cry, the cavern immediately became much brighter. That's when she was able to notice the three Gravelers charging towards her. "Go Vaporeon!" Jax called, tossing a ball. "Ssaaassusi!" In a flash of bluish light and five sparks, the Vaporeon emerged from its Poke Ball. Jax just barely had time to command Vaporeon to use Surf. Water appeared seemingly from nowhere, engulfing the Gravelers and sweeping them out of sight. Phew... Jax thought, before scratching Vaporeon, then Jolteon's head. "Good girls." She said, before proceeding into another tunnel, the two following closely behind. |

X looked around. "Now... in this bright sunny day lets--" he was cut off, suddenly everything had gone pitch black. "uuwa!?" he looked around, it began getting windy. "Pikachu! use flash to lighten things up!" "Pi!" he said it, ran up ahead stopped and focuses. "Pika..... PIKACHU!!" it shouted as lighting sprang from the red spots on it's cheeks, lighting everthing up. X looked around. "GAAH!! A-A tornado!?" X and pikachu gasped. He ran over, grabbed pikachu and ran up the fire escape, and into his apartment, "got to get away!" he threw all his pokeballs in a backpack and jumped out the window, skidding along the building and coming to a rough stop to the ground. He looked around for something to use. "My car!" he jumped inside, turned it on and pounded the gas. "wait!" he stopped dug around and grabbed his pidgeotto. "Go!!" he shouted throwing the ball, it opened up, a white light sprang from the the ball and took form of the pigdeotto. "Pidgeotto! use twister!" he shouted. "pidgooooo!" it screech as it's wings moved rapidly, blowing the twister away. "Shoo..." he sighed. "Heh! nice job!" he gave a thumbs up to the pokemon and it smiled back at him. "Now.... whats going on here?" he thought to himself. |

(alright everyone, good start, still waiting for Cat and Eternus to make their posts. So enjoy this nice Arceus narrative and you can continue posting.) My realm is a place that has only been seen by, other than myself, 4 living creatures. Sadly, however, one of them felt I was unworthy to rule it. That "one" is called Byalza. Born from an egg similar to mine, byalza was always ambitious. When I gave life to the rulers of Space and time, he gave life to the master of distortion. When Giratina began to act sporatically, I was forced to banish it to the Distortion world until it's rage subsided. Byalza misunderstood my intentions and beleived that he too would be cast away from my realm. It was this mindset that drew Byalza to the ways of Evil. He sought to do to me what he thought I had done to him. Take away that which he held dear. He started off small, using corrupted pkemon to harm the people of the planet. Then he grew increasingly vicious. Sending distant meteors to bombard populated areas, and signaling the eruption of long dormant volcanoes. His most heinous act was yet to come. In a way though, I should thank him, for it was he who led me to Damos, who saved me from certain death after I repelled a massive meteor drawn by Byalza. Feeling great pity for this man and his town, barren and lifeless. I bequethed to him 5 of my life plates to create a jewel of life. From this jewel, the town of Machina would thrive for eternity. I was deeply moved by this pure soul and his courage, I had never felt anything like it before. Then 10 years later, I returned to once again receive the Jewel of life. No sooner did Damos return the Jewel then Byalza appeared suddenly and drove his trident tipped tail through Damos' midsection. A foreign feeling entered my spirit when I saw his face, it was a feeling I could not even begin to describe. As the lifeless body of this great man fell limply to the floor, Byalza whipped the razor sharp appendage suddenly at me. Which in my current condition, I did not notice. I burst through the Temple wall and collided with the dirt below. Byalza burst through the opening I created and spoke out in a malevolent mental boast "Here is where Your life will end. It is here That I will assume my rightful place as the ruler of this universe! But before you die, you will watch as everthing you have created and hold so dear turns to ash in my grip!" Looking down on the frantic humans below with eyes of hatred. Byalza unleashed a staggering wave of energy. I was narrowly able to avoid it. to this day I wish I hadn't, when the intense light subsided, I looked down to the city that would thrive for eternity. As far as the eye could see, death and destruction was paramount. For one breif moment, Byalza had succeeded in what he sought out to do. IT would be his final transgression. For in the moments after I laid eyes on that horrible sight, I was blinded by a rage that surpassed even Byalza's, I no longer cared, about him, about the humans, not even Damos. I gathered every ounce of power that corsed through my being and in a brief flash of light, I collided with the monster I once thought of as my brother with such force that he was sent far from earth, far from the Galaxy, to the farthest reaches of the universe. Unconscious and severly injured, Byalza was defensless to do anything, so it was that I found him and before I struck the final blow, something deep inside of me clicked, then I remembered Damos. The rage that filled my eyes began to fade and soon I was once more, me. I looked with clear eyes at this, thing with unbearable pity, unsure of what should become of him. then I noticed the intense cold surrounding the region we were in, it was as cold as the dark heart thar beat slowly in the body of this beast. So it was that i bound him to this place, to freeze for eternity, to never again bring the insurmountable pain that he caused my beloved creations. Or so I thought. Well this is new, thought Lizzie, standing in front of her normally icy windows, and just slightly unnerving. Lizzie had recenty been asleep in the local inn in Snowpoint City. She'd been sleeping merrily until her room had become unbearably hot. She arose from her bed minutes after noticing the heat, sweating as if she had just been in a sauna. She walked up to the window, purposely avoiding contact with it, since it looked like steam was coming off of it. Outside the window was a terrifying sight, all the snow and ice on all of the trees, houses, and streets were melting. "This cannot be good..." She said before rushing to get herself dressed. With her backpack half slung over her back and her bandana hanging from her mouth, she ran through the doors of the inn half listening to the news, "...Reports coming in all over the world about strange weather patterns..." "That must be it. Ah ha! Idea time." She reached into the side pocket of her pack and pulled out a pokeball. "Frostlass, come on out. We've got a job!" Lizzie yelled before tossing the pokeball up into the air. The pokeball opened, releasing a red energy. The energy solidified into Lizzie's most trusted partner: Frostlass. The ghost/ice Pokemon hung silently in the air, quietly awaiting orders. "This should hopefully work. Use hail, but try to concentrate on the surrounding area." "Lassssss." The small ghost responded before staring up into the sky, which was quickly turning a bright blue. Frostlass' eyes shone blue, before small pieces of ice fell from the sky. The ice quickly grew to marble-sized to golf ball-sized to the size of a clenched fist, before smashing windows and breaking signs. "Aahhh!" Lizzie yelled, "Call it off, call it off!" She continued yelling before running to the inside of a building, Frostlass slowly following. "Thanks. I think..." Lizzie told her Pokemon before returning her to her pokeball. "WAAHHH!!!" Oliver cried out as he ran away from something in the caves of the Sinnoh region's Victory Road. The young trainer was being chased by a male Garchomp who, for no apparent reason, went into a rage and began gliding after him with its blade-like fins. "Gaarr!" the Dragon- Ground- dual-type roared as its body was covered with a light blue aura, charging in faster with its Dragon Rush. The attack seemed as though it would connect with Oliver. But, luckily, the young man tripped on a rock and fell flat on the ground, the mysteriously enraged Pokemon passing above, its attack missed. Looking up after his fall, Oliver thought to himself, 'Now's my chance.' Quickly standing back up, he reached for one of the Pokeballs around his belt. The ball in question was a Premier Ball with the bottom half painted a haunting shade of purple and the top half having a snowflake painted on it. "Yumi! I need your help!" Oliver called as he threw the ball. The Premier Ball opened up as a red light shot out. When the light subsided, a Froslass was between Oliver and the Garchomp, who was now turning back toward his prey. "Froslass!" she called out, now that she was out of her ball again. The bow on her back looked scarred, giving it a tattered look like a piece of worn cloth. "Yumi, use Blizzard on that Garchomp!" Oliver called his command. "Lass!" Yumi nodded, understanding what her trainer had said. "Fros..." she said as she inhaled. As she prepared her attack, the Garchomp rushed in for another attack. This time, its mouth became surrounded by flame, ready to use its Fire Fang. "Lass!" Yumi called out, letting out her attack when the Garchomp was three feet away. The attack was especially powerful considering Garchomp's typing, as it was sent back several feet. When the attack stopped, he was beaten with the single attack. Despite the power of the attack, Yumi had held back so as to not cause any serious damage to Garchomp. Walking up to his Pokemon, Oliver rested a gentle hand on her ice-cold head as he said with a smile, "Great job, Yumi." "Froslass," the Ice-type said with a smile as well. Looking back toward the fallen Garchomp, Oliver thought, 'What could've caused that Garchomp to just attack out of nowhere?' (Finally got around to posting.) |

(Good good, We may now commence with story progression) "Palkia, Dialga, Giratina." Arceus silently crept into the three scattered Deities. "You have been keeping the Earth safe. But it will not be enough for you alone. Your Sleeping and woken brothers and sisters will soon converge and join you in protecting your home. But it too, will be for naught without the chosen. Palkia, ruler of space, I humbly request you locate these few that have been chosen to lead this struggle, and bring them to me. "Their locations are here" Arceus then projected a mental map to Palkia, displaying 8 bright spots of light scattered throughout the Earth. Two of them were in close vicinity to one another, so Palkia decided to acquire these two first. From his current position near Spear Pillar, Palkia tore open a portal through space to which he flew inside, the portal then vanished as if it were never conjured. Palkia emerged through a second portal to find himself above Snowpoint City, which contrary to its name was experiencing a severe heatwave, the heat annoyed Palkia so he wanted to get this over with. He was feeling the presence of two above normal energies, emanating from opposite sides of the city, the nearest one was near a local inn, Palkia could see the human's Froslass and its not so successful hail move. Palkia uttered a low growl that sounded like a scoff. It was then that the human returned the Froslass to the poke ball, he was unsure why the humans used such strange devices. Palkia landed close to 3 feet from the human, a female and lowered its head to face her. He called out in a loud roar. He could see the potential this human possessed, though the display her froslass gave said otherwise. Still though, he wondered what it was about THIS one that made Arceus choose her. |
