Sandopolis Act 2 Posts: 2,066 Group: S Rank Hero Member #10,696 Joined: January 19, 2010	(I'll be using Jake for this one, hope this story works out well lol) Jake awoke with a shock, surprised by the loud buzzing sound coming from the space ships overhead speaker. While the strange alien sound was meant to be a warning for the stolen Covenant destroyer, Jake used it as an alarm clock seeing as how he was the only one on the ship. He got up out of the oddly constructed sleeping pod and stretched his limbs; 193 hours in semi-cryo sleep can put a toll on you. He exited his room and continued towards the control room of the ship and began adjusting some switches until a small, blue hologram appeared. "Good morning Jake," said the Mobian AI "we've arrived at the planet Mobius. Shall I prepare us for entry?" Jake smiled, it had been a long time since he'd visited Mobius, and he was glad to be back. "Thanks Nicole, take us to the nearest port and send a landing permission request." He laughed "I don't think the Mobians would like a Covenant space craft landing without permission" He looked onward into the surface of the planet, wondering what would await him.

The morning sun�s rays glistening on Fenrir�s fur and clothes like the morning dew on the grass. As the sun rose higher into the sky, the light woke Fenrir from his peaceful sleep. With a yawn he wiped his eyes and stretched out. Fenrir took a good look around. The grassy plain surrounding his house was always full of beauty, especially in the morning light. Fenrir stood to his feet and jumped down, landing safely on the ground below. He turned to the door behind him and opened it, expecting the smell of bacon, A favorite of his room-mate. But the air not saturated with fried pork strips, and his roommate was nowhere to be found. �well, good morning to me I guess�� Fenrir muttered to himself as he closed the door and walked away. �hope something interesting happens today��

"Nah, I think i'll take this trip more casually." He smiled "Really? You don't even want your combat suit?" "Comon, what could go wrong?" The small cruiser (changed size of ship, sorry 'bout that) pulled into the airport and landed perfectly; one of the upsides of having an AI pilot your ship. After getting dressed, Jake grabbed a protein bar and swallowed it down while walking towards the door. Before he left, he grabbed his hoodie and hopped out the door; landing on the cement with a thud. He stood tall and gazed around him, amazed by the scale of the city; it seemed to have frown since his last visit. A young, Mobian mongoose with a red tank top and a short skirt began running towards him, she seemed to be about 15, but it was hard to tell with Mobians. Jake hated the "fame" he had, ever since his victories on earth; stories had spread around the galaxy and made it to Mobius. Hopefully not everybody had heard of him yet. "Oh...my god! Are you that famous human who stop the daedra back on earth?" She screamed "I'm a huge fan of yours!' "Well, I geuss.. thanks! Listen, I have to go now...." He murmerred. "Wait, I-" She was cut off as Jake began jogging away. He didn't actually have to go anywhere, but he hated talking to fans; they only knew stereotypical things about humans and it annoyed him. He continued walking, and made his way to the LRT station; he took the first one he could find. He didn't care where it took him, as long as it was away from the pressure of his old life.

He walked down the street whistling one of his favorite song but could barely hear him self through the screaming of a little girl. Fenrir looked over and noticed a large, muscular human standing in front of a mongoose that looked tiny in comparison. The young mongoose's screaming attracted the attention of others girls whom where near by. The easily identifiable "fan girl scream" was like the battle cry for "I FOUND A CELEBRITY!!!" Before Fenrir could even look around he was nearly knocked off of his feet by a young fox with a pen and paper in her hands, stretched in front off her. And girls across the street where running toward the human, who had already began running in the other direction. The girls gave chase, there numbers growing rapidly. This began getting dangerous as a teen that was trying to take out a pen and paper, cross the street without looking. A car was driveling through at that same moment. The driver noticed her but couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting her so he tried to turn. Unfortunately, Fenrir was now in danger. Fenrir quickly put his hands out in front of him. The air rapidly grew cold and a three inch wall of ice formed between Fenrir and the car. Within seconds the car crashed into the wall breaking the car's head lights and crushing the front like an accordion. Fenrir walked over to the driver's window that was in peaces around the car. "Hope you have car insurance..." Fenrir said walking away. Fenrir noticed the human run into the LRT station and divided to follow him. Not only was he going to be overwhelmed by "fans", but he had recently noticed that Mobius was not made for humans, especially of his size. Most doors he had to duck through, and the chairs were way too small for him to sit. One thing he was enjoying though, was the view of the ever expanding Metropolis. Everything seemed to be gleaming with chrome, with amazing structures that wouldn't even be possible on earth to construct. Earth. That's why he liked Mobius, it was like Earth, but without the devastating pollution and complete disregard for the planet. Mobians were different, they respected their surroundings and didn't do the unnecessary expansion that Humans couldn't resist. He continued to stand, waiting for the LRT to make a stop; it was then he noticed a wolf like creature sitting near him. He appeared to have been following him, but Jake couldn't tell since he got paranoid easily. Instead of freaking out, he decided to confront the Mobian, and perhaps make a new friend. "Hey there, I'm assuming you're another fanboy?" He asked

"Hey there, I'm assuming you're another fanboy?" He asked "Excues me? Fanboy?" fenrir replied just barely keeping himself from bursting in to laughter. "Me? A fan boy? Just the thought of that makes my skin crawl. my name is fenrir." he began again jeturing a handshake."And sorry, I've been around for along time but i have no idea who you are. but you do seem popular." He was glad to hear that he wasn't another fanboy, and also relieved that he didn't know who he was. "Yeah, alot of the kids here seem to somehow know who I am. And it's not like I did anything amazing either, I mean, all I did was fight off some aliens." He shrugged. "So, your name's Fenrir,eh?" He continued, taking a seat next to him.

He wished he knew the real reason, perhaps it was because he missed his old friends, and wanted to relive the old days. "I geuss I'm not a normal human, but not that different. I mean, I have been called a demi-god before, but that's not exactly true..." He explained "And for why I'm here? Well, pretty much everybody I knew before is dead... so I pretty much spend my time travelling the galaxy."

" wow... all his friends are dead... must be sad..." The LRT pulled in slowing to a stop and opening its doors. people began to flood the sation and the chater grew louder. "you gun'na take that?" fenrir asks "you seemed like you had some were to go. wich is more than i can say... nothings happend here in a long time, leaving me with nothing to do." "dang... why did he have to go and ask that..." he thought to him self. fenrir isnt like most people. he dosnt grow, dosnt need to eat, and dosnt want too much stuff. so that rules out the esentail needs of a liveing creture. so in simple turms... "i dont need a liveing... i guess you can say I'm a drifter... i dont care much for the normal, so i wonder around, looking for something exsiting to do... often that includes fighting." "I guess it�s more hand to hand than any thing. But I can control water and ice so that�s cool. And as for why I fight... I don�t really know..." A purpose... why do I fight? Why am I here? What am I suppose to do? Thinking about this made Fenrir kind of sad. Others can dream, some people have goals that they would risk there life to achieve. But having been alive for so long, as of late life is been more of a prison than an experience. "Well... what do you suppose we do? I'm board out of my mind. And you don�t have much to do now. So... how's about we stick together for a bit? Find some thing interesting to occupy our time. Some thing weird usually happens about now�

"You're right, we should try to find something interesting to do around here." He smiled He felt good being near a friend again. Though Fenrir was much smaller than him, it reminded him of his old Mobian friends, and that's what he truly wanted. "Though you're the one who lives here, so what do you say? Where should we go?" Jake asked
