Let the winds of change and fires of creation dance to my desire!
So yeah, I would like to know if I'm not the only person in this place that has grazed the genre.

Do you play them?

What are your favorites?

Are you a scrub? (|3)

Personally, my favorites:
Rage of the Dragons (Billy Lewis and Lynn Baker)
Street Fighter Alpha series (Ken, Sodom, Rolento)
Waku Waku 7 (Arina, Dandy J)
Big Bang Beat (Rouga, Agito)
Guilty Gear (Sol, Potemkin, Anji)
The Black Heart *lol* (Peketo, Ananzi, Animus)

Tekken is my favorite, although recently I bought Street Fighter 4(my only fighting game currently). Lots of nostalgia in that game. I haven't tried Virtua Fighter, but I have heard great things about it and it's sad that 5 goes forgotten simply because it came out early in the PS3's lifetime.

Christmas is back again

Of course.
Last title would be Soul Calibur IV. It's overall a nice and ain't to advanced for my liking. Even if the attack moves ain't considerable something to brag about. At least not if you can't use the combinations of buttons and control stick.

Second would be Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Ha ha! I know it's old, but I love that game. It was so addicting that I could almost never quit playing unless I mistakenly forgot my password and the profile was wasted. Tons of hours. Bah! But I've done so, more then several times and it's still fun to catch up on once in a while. Also the moves, so easy it's like every title should be.

Now I have been involved into several other fighting games as well.
The Mortal Kombat vs Superheroes. I can't remember the exact title, but I think it was DC Universe. I must admit, it never compelled to me as much like MKDA.
And for the disappointment that Armageddon was never released when the xbox was cut of and 360 made it's entrance. Unlike PS2 that continues on even now with new games.

Dead or Alive is another one and I don't need to mention one of my old favourites as well. Fatal Fury. Not the second one, and I ain't thinking about all the other available titles. I'm thinking King of Fighters the first back on Genesis. Awesome game me and my cousin used to play.
The awesome Raiden and the chinese Ru-Fu was it I think. Ha ha! Their obvious my favourites.

Bloody Roar Extreme is another one. Yes I'm not a huge fan of the fighting genre. But I do tend to cross many different genres and fighting is obvious one of them.
And in the end. Godzilla, I can't exactly remember the exact title, but it was pretty awesome even if the characters looked like toys rather then realistic monsters. But heck it's fun all the same.

Street Fighter I've also played but never been much a fan of it.
And last but not least. I think I've played some old titles on one of my emulators. Turtles is one of them. Ha ha! It kicked ass on Snes. While it sucks big time on Genesis. XD

The first fighting game I was ever able to get the hang of was Tekken 3. I would spend countless hours trying to beat my stepdad at it. XD From then on, in chronological order, it goes:

Street Fighter Turbo II*
Bloody Roar 2(? Not sure which one)
Soul Calibur
Virtua Fighter 2(?)*
Tekken 4 (quite a jump)
Arcana Heart (friend brought it over one time; wasn't bad)
Soul Calibur 2
Tekken 5
Soul Calibur 3
MK: Shaolin Monks
MK II (on Shaolin Monks)
Virtua Fighter 4*
Soul Calibur 4
Tekken 6

I can't remember any others at the moment. I never was too big on Street Fighter. Everyone I face at that game never gives me a chance to learn. -_-

*never owned, but played an am decent at

Edit: Does Super Smash Bros. count? If so, put all 3 of 'em in there.

*bursts throught the wall* I HEARD FIGHTING GAMES!

But yeah, I love 'em. LIST TIME!

- Tekken Series (King, Armor King, Lili)
- Capcom Vs. Series (MvC, TvC)
- Guilty Gear X2 Reload/AC (Faust, Robo-Ky)
- Street Fighter Series (Ryu, Ken)
- Soul Calibur IV(Mitsurugi, Yoda)

... that's all I can think of at this point. Super Smash Bros. would be in there, but in I don't really count it in this sense. I've played others, but not regularly enough for me to count them either. |P

Huh? What's that post above me say?

You of all people know that this thread was made for me. xD

Play fighting games, of course I do. |D I play pretty much anything and everything that's a fighting game, so long as it's in good taste. My favorites, there's far too many to name, but let's see which I've played recently.

- Street Fighter Alpha 3 [Guy. :3]
- Darkstalkers 3/Vampire Savior [Talbain, Kung-Fu Wolfy. <3]
- Virtua Fighter 4 [I want 5: Final Showdown like, right now. ;_; ]
- Super Street Fighter 4 [El Fuerte, because there's ALWAYS room for dessert!]
- BlazBlue: Continuum Shift [Makoto]
- Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire - A game where Jackie Chan has 3 different instances of himself, each one being top tier? Lulz. <3 [Jackie Chan - all three. 8D]
- Melty Blood: Actress Again [F - Aoko Aozaki]
- Akaitsuki Blitzkampf [ E - Soldat]
- Guilty Gear: Accent Core [Anji, rocking the pink. |D]
- Street Fighter 3: Third Strike [Yun]
- Capcom vs. SNK 2
- King of Fighters '98
- Breakers Revenge
- Immaterial and Missing Power [ Suika ]

.... I need a life. ;;
If someone asks me if I'm enjoying life, unless it's something really unforgivable, I can't help but answer that I am. No matter how much despair there is, I'm satisfied with just living...Just being allowed to be here really is a wonderful thing.

Tekken is my favorite series(probably already posted that in here but so long ago...).

Tekken 6 was a let down though, hopefully Tekken Tag 2 is as good as the first!

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Preferences are, in order of skill: Jin Kisaragi, Hazama, and Makoto Nanaya.

Using Jin, I tend to be slightly scrubby with the ice cars and grabs, but I'm trying to get better.
Also, I managed to beat and piss off my opponent in a Hazama mirror despite being less skilled at the character's combos by using "cheap tricks."
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.
