I never try to be mean, and yet people attack every opinion and thing I have to say. It's really annoying and it makes me feel a larger depression than I already have. I mean, cyberbullying is an issue, I already got trashed at another forum and I don't want it to happen again. So why can't we just all be friends? I know it's not only me, others are getting mistreated too... Rather than bother me, why not be kind? Ever try it once? I'm sick of being told everything I say is wrong and being trashed at for saying it. Please, learn the golden rule. I came to this forum to have fun talking about Sonic, if you don't agree with my opinion, respond nicely. It's possible to do this. I admit I may have gone a bit harsh on others, but this is all because I feel bitter at how I have been treated. I'm willing to start anew with anyone if they'd like to. Please, let's just be friends. It's better than all this crap that ends up making everyone feel miserable.

That's why I kind of feel nervous about joining these gigantic, huge forums and stating my opinion, fearing that I will get heavily ripped on for stating my piece of mind about the forum, the administration, or the users in general. I know that there are jerks in the world, and there are people who act like assholes on the Internet who just don't care. I prefer to stick to small forums, but honestly, I got lured in because of Sonic and roleplaying. I don't have a problem when the rules are enforced, but too much is too much when either: 1: The forum administrator doesn't do anything to stop the cyberbullying 2: All the users gang up on one hapless user. But, yeah, I can definitely sympathize with your situation. Like Neo said, just report them. Hopefully, it will be dealt with.

Like Neo stated, if you feel like you're being bullied just report it to us and we will take appropriate action. Well I guess what Metallix said is the best way to take care of it. You know what I hate though? When on the news they mention it, and say that schools get involved and put an end to it. Now thats complete shizz, cyberbullying should be handled completely online there should be no outside intervening. Ya know? Just felt I had to throw that out there. And dude, little word from a fourm old timer to yourself. Just don't care what others say what they think. The hell with others opinions, you are all that matters. The problem isthat the comments don't break any rules. It's more like beating around the bush with the points and insinuating. And half the times it's members at my level. Mayeb I'm just too sensitive to what people are saying... but I mean, can't they be nice about it for once? They just try to disagree by posting things that make me look stupid (eve thoughi didn't do it). The problem is none of this bullying actually breaks any rules... it's just immature actions in my opinion.

There's a difference between conflict and a civil disagreement. I think you should work on differentciating the two. Cuz honestly I don't really see to much flaming going on aside from the ocassional amusing spam. And making a topic for this kinda sorta sets you up for more flak. :V

I wouldn't be surprised of more than half the people bashing you are bashed themselves in real life. On the internet, one can be as cruel as they want and nobody can bring it to their face, mostly because they can't see your face. What I'm saying probably isn't helping much, but the point I'm trying to get across is that it happens to thousands of people all across the wide reaches of the internet. But I don't stand or tolerate people trying to pull that shit on me. If they start, I'll continue. I am not afraid to stand up for myself or my friends. I think cyberbullying is ridiculous, because no one is better than the next person. True, some may be a little smarter or a little more grammar strict than the next, but that doesn't mean that they should be bullied unconditionally. Some people may misspell a couple words here and there, I'm one of them, and others freak out because it's not 'cool'. Like this whole Shadow thing. Not all of them, but some people can't stand the fact that some of us like to believe that Shadow died. So they want to start a huge topic and call people out on it and make a huge discussion and try to get them dissed and embarassed, when really they are the ones being rude and completely immature. You'll never be able to stop those kinds of people from appearing, all you can do is either ignore them or try to fight back. I just simply don't like stooping low enough as to try to embarass someone. I come up with my own things. I don't HAVE to start a topic just to make people look bad. It doesn't make any of them look cool. Just ignorant and intolerant of others. I think creating a topic for this was all right, but it might show people that it's bothering you. Don't let it bother you. If they want to insult you, then fight fire with fire, as I always say. I think it's my fiery nature and my take-no-shit instincts, but I think everyone here needs that. If you ever need help or anything, you know I'm here.

If I were you I'd report and ignore it. The mods can handle it, and who really cares what they say? Insults and Derogatory terms men nothing on the internet. Any body anywhere can say anything, but that doesn't mean they're right. Even in some cases, the more right they believe they are, the more wrong they are in reality.
