Death Egg Act 1

((Okay. )) Starlight was in town going shopping for her wonderful boyfriend, Star. She was feeling happy-go-lucky today to find the perfect gift for him. As she made it inside the mall, she began to look around for the gift. "Okay...i'm sure there has to be something around here he would like..." she said to herself. Then she spotted a sports shop and looked at the windows showing many things like tennis shoes, snowboards, etc. Starlight shook her head. Maybe not...but he likes to run alot. Hmm...this is could be difficult... she thought. She shrugged as she continued to look around, wondering if he could come back to that store or probably not. Somewhere far away from the city, Ember high above in a building watched from the large tvs, seeing many people enjoying their daily life. she frowned as she continued to watch them with disgust. "How pathetic...they all happy...too happy. Of course once we rule this world, there won't be happiness for anyone. Only for us, right Ion? Looking around for gifts, Star couldn't really find much to do. He thought about buying a wedding ring, just to suprise Starlight. He was trying his best, but couldn't seem to find anything. He sighed, frowning just a little. He was a bit abashed at that. He stopped in a store, looking around for wedding gifts and such. After seconds, he spotted something, something that may even catch Starlight's suprise and cause her to gape. Though, looking at the price, it cost too many rings for him to actually buy it. He sighed again. "Better try somewhere else.." he muttered, walking towards the other sections of the store. Listening to his sister talk, Ion chuckled a bit. "No, no, no..." he replied. "We could save them for slaves, do are bidding and such." He was curled up, watching the people go by with their normal lives and such. Then, he targeted a person, in which he could take a life from. He laughed and said, "I think I've spotted a target." |

Starlight searched high and low for the perfect gift for Star. She sighed after she spotted some Men's store and sweatdropped. "Hehe...I don't think so.." she said as she walked away from the store. As she past the wedding store, her eyes locked on a certain item. She quickly went to the window and dreamily looked at it. "Whoa...it's so pretty..." she said with a sigh. But when she noticed the item's price, it will cause to many rings to buy. Starlight closed her eyes and tightened her fist in disbelief. Crap...it cost too much. Better search somewhere else. she thought. She turned around, having her back towards the store and left, keeping her focus on searching the gift. ~~~ Ember scoffed at her brother's comment. "Hmph. Well...I suppose your right. We actually do need slaves to remodel this hidious city.." she said. Her attention turned back to the televisions and saw the person Ion targeted. The feline smirked. "Hmm...nice target bro.." She too looked around and saw a person as well. Her smirk became wide. "It seemed i've targeted one as well..." |

Star continued his search, passing by many gifts, in blur-formation. He stopped, when he spotted a golden ring. It was brilliant, in his opinion. It was decorated, making it glister in the sun. It also was sealed protectively in a case. This was the highest, and most decorated ring in the store. But it was also the most expensive, but that didn't stop Star. He placed both his hands on the glass, gazing at the ring. Maybe I could get her initials on it... he thought. He smiled as he backed away. "Got something that you'd like, ser?" a cashier asked with a smile, taking interest into Star's choice. "Oh yeah, I have..." he answered, "I just need the money though." The cashier thought. "Well...I could help you...but I need a favor," he replied with a smirk. "Hm, and what would that be?" Star asked, turning towards him, raging in curiousity. Ion shook his head at his sister. The target of his began to walk towards the target of Ember's choice. Apparently, his target must of known the other. A frown went across Ion's face as he watched the two. "Damn it, you humans..." he muttered. "We'll take them out when they're out of human's view...I don't need a freaking riot of chaos taking place in the city..." Ion was very calm as he said his words. Though, he was angered, because he wanted his target alone. Who knows what happens when another mortal is around his target. |

Starlight continued to search around the mall anxiously to find Star's gift. It seemed she was almost losing hope She sighed as she sat down on a bench and closed her eyes. 'This is hopeless. I know I won't be able to find a gift for him..." she said. Starlight then opened her eyes and spotted a store across from her. In the window, there was a bright, golden ring looking bracelet. Her eyes widened as she got up, walked towards the store, and gazed at the bracelet. Whoa...! I'm sure Star would love that! I can even put his initals on it. But...the price... she thought. Her smile quickly turned into a frown when she gazed at te price next. "Is there something you would like to buy, Miss?" a female storekeeper asked. Starlight looked at the woman and slightly shook her head. "Oh well actually...yes. But the price.." she said. The woman put her hands on her hips and grinned. "Hmm...I can help you with that. But a favor.." she said. "Hmm? What is it?" Starlight asked. ~~~ Ember rolled her eyes as she watched her target walk towards ion's target. she growled as she knew the two targets probably knew each other. "No! H-how could this be?! Damnit!" She slammed her hand on the table and slumped down in her seat, facepalming. "...now what should we do? Our targets probably know each other. Maybe in a different way.." |

"Well...I am desperately searching for a worker to send out my gifts and presents to some of the fellow people who order for them..." the worker said. "What? What do you mean?" Star asked, blinking once and raising an eyebrow. "I mean that, well...I'm also trying to get a gift..it's for my fiancee, actually...if you can deliver 5 packages to some of the fellow people, maybe I could give just enough money for the gift..." He folded his arms and raised an eyebrow. "You up for it?" He smirked. "Hm...well, my present is also for my fiancee....heh, sure, why not? I'm always up for anything!" Star said, jumping in the air and landed on the ground, his legs bent slightly and his arms coiled up. "I knew I could count on you..here," the cashier said, walking towards the other room. He carried a large box, sounds of metals clashing together each step he took, and gave it to Star. Star grabbed it, holding it with ease with both his arms. "Take this to the following address," he said, pointing at it on the box. "It's just 40 feet away from here, but with your talent, I'm sure this is no problem for you!" Star chuckled and nodded. "I got it!" he promised, running out the door in a blur. The cashier smiled. Ion sighed. But then, he stood up out of his chair. "Just wait," he said. The other seperated after a bit of chat, walking towards his car, inside a building, which was apparently a parking lot, to head off to his home. Ion laughed menacingly. "You damn sucker, now I got'chu!" he rejoiced. He then jumped over the rail and off the building. He went down in a blur, and instantly, landed on the ground. He looked up, awaiting for his sister. Though, he shrugged and made his way for the lot. The lady got into her car, closed the door, and started it. But just before she could actually move the car foward, Ion landed on it's front, putting a huge dent in it. He was in a formation of a tiger, ready to pounce. He smiled mischeviously, showing his bright white teeth, which were very, very pointy at some of the sides. The lady jumped, frozen, not knowing what to do. "You're not escaping me..." he laughed. |

"Actually, my employee who works here didn't arrive today since he was sick. He was suppose to pass out flyers and put up posters around the mall for our new grand opening to this store..." the woman explained. Starlight raised her eyebrow as she continued to listen. "...but with your help, you need to give out all the flyers and post posters everywhere and if you comeplete your task, that bracelet will be all yours." the woman finished as she smirked. "Hmm. Sounds like a challenge..but i'll give it a shot!" the she-hog said as she walked in the store along with the manager. "Wonderful! Now, here are the flyers and when you're done passing them out, i'll give yo the posters next." She said as she handed her a pack of flyers in her hands. Starlight gave a determined smile and nodded. "You can count on me to get this done!" She said as she immediately headed out the store to begin her job. ~~~ Ember sighed again as she watched her brother leave the room. She got up out of her chair and walked downstairs instead. Out the window, she spotted Ion's target and smirked as she quickly made her way to the parking lot. She made it outside to the lot and saw him ontop of the woman's car who was struggling to leave. Oh how she loved to see many people suffering. Ember made her way to Ion and sill had her smirk on her evil face. "You got an idea to do with her Ion?"she asked him. |

Star was running by, almost to the location. "Just a few feet away.." he reminded himself. Then, when he passed the parking lot, he froze. He couldn't move, at all. He felt darkness, evilness, going on in that lot. Then, after seconds, there was a scream. Star dropped the box, and quickly, made his way for the lot. The voice echoed and echoed through the streets of Metal City. Ion thought for a moment. "Well...I was thinking that we could both split her..." he said to Ember. "And or maybe just let you have her. I'm still deciding." The woman got out of the car, running for it. Ion sighed, and in an instant, teleported infront of her. She screamed loudly, falling on her hiney. "What do you want from me!?" she yellled in horror, backing up. Ion grabbed her ankle and held her upside down, letting the blood rush to her forehead. He then glanced at Ember. "This way, she'll never wake up once she's unconscious," he informed her with a smirk. But then, in an instant, he was hit on his side. He rolled across the ground once, jumping up afterwards. He growled and said, "Very funny, Ember.." But then, it wasn't her, but it was Star. He held the lady, bride-like. "Ohh...trying to be a hero, eh?" Ion asked, walking towards him slowly. Star backed up with a frown and growl. "Back off..." he ordered. Ion chuckled and then stopped, shaking his head. |

When Starlight passed out the flyers, she was trying to do many things for people to take a look at the store. Say for instance, dancing. She tried her best at dancing and she couldn't believe it worked. Then after an hour, all of the flyers were gone. She sighed in relief knowing that she was done with the flyers. Next, the poster. She sighed again, being a bit tired from flyer passing and dancing as she was heading back to the store. Suddenly, she heard a loud scream. Starlight's ears perked up as the scream became louder. "Oh no...I can tell something bad is happening..." she said. Then she ran out to the parking lot, through the door. ~~~ Ember smirked and slightly noddded. "Hmm...probably split her in half." she answered. She watched as the woman ran out and tried to run away. But Ion teleported infront of her and picked her up by the ankles, hanging upside down. Ember gasped when Ion also got hit in the side, making him roll over. She shrugged. "I didn't do that.." she told him. She qiuckly growled, seeing a yellow hedgehog, holding the woman bridel-style. Ember, instead, chuckled a bit and glaced up at him. "How rude of you to intterupt our fun..." she said as her smirk got wide. Then she turned to Ion. "Care to do the honors, brother?" she asked him. |

Ion folded his arms. Then, Ember asked him to do the honors, in which he smiled widely. "Of course, sister," he said to her, nodding. He closed his eyes, and in an instant, teleported behind Star. Before Star could react, he easily thrusted his fist into his back. Star dropped the lady, gasping, and then was sent flying into a car. He smashed through the window and into the wall, making a huge dent into the wall, making it crumble as well. Though, he stood up. He was not going to settle for failure. "As I thought, he's nothing but a fool," Ion said, picking her up again. She was frozen, staring into Ion's eyes. She could see the evil in them. She could see the plans that he had for her. Beggining to shiver, she squirmed violently. It was no use though, Ion was too strong for her. Ion smiled and then, just as he was about to slice her neck, Star jumped over the car. He paused, glaring at Star. "Why don't you stay down?" Ion asked. Soon, his glare vanished. He smirked again. "I like challenges, don't you?" he asked, dropping the lady on her head, making her fall unconscious. Star stopped just a few feet away from Ion. Then, in an instant, he bursted at him. Ion blinked once, astounded and amazed by the speed of this hedgehog. Star smashed into him, tackling him. He continued running as he grappled onto him. Then, he smashed into a car, beggining to punch Ion repeadtly in the cheecks with anger. Ion pushed Star away, sending him flying into the air. Star stopped in mid-air though. Ion rubbed his face. Soon, the stratches healed away. Star's eyes were wide. "We're not some simple fool, Star," Ion said with his usual smirk. "We're much better, even then Metal Sonic." Star frowned then. But before he could even say a word, he was blasted off, flying, and smashed into a wall. He slided onto the ground, laying out. "Haha." But then, Ion could hear someone else joining the brawl. He could hear foot-steps, with his excellent hearing and vision, and then he gazed at the entrance. His eyes changed from red, to topaz. He could see the bone structure of another spectator, making his/her way towards them. He held his hand out, sending car's flying towards the entrance. They rolled in circles, flying at the spectator that came. Many, many cars were thrown at her. |

Starlight continued to run out the entrance to follow the scream. "Ohh..where is it?!" she asked herself, worriedly. Then she could see the light in the distance. She sighed in relief as she quickly made her way towards the exit. When the she-hog made it out the exit, her eyes widened, seeing many, many cars hurling towards her. She screamed and immediately used her powerful Star Necklace to make a shield around her. Starlight gripped her necklace, tightly hoping to survive this. The cars were knocked back from the sheild and flew in the sky. They all crashed down, making loud alarm noises, glass breaking, and other effects. The sheild dissapeared and Starlight opened her eyes, quickly running further ahead. She finally made it and gasped seeing Star, a woman unconsious, and a mysterious male and female. "Star! What's going on here?!" she asked. Ember looked at Starlight and smirked again. "Hmm...it seems another weakling would like to join this mess..." she said. "what do you think, Ion?" |

"You gotta be kidding me..." Ion muttered, looking at the female. His pupils then were red again, instead of topaz. "You can take her if you want, Ember, I don't-" Interrupted by Star jumping onto his back and chocking him, he growled, grappling onto Star's arms. Star wouldn't let go. He continued to strangle him, but soon, was blasted away. This time, though, Star smashed into a wall with his feet, and then jumped down onto the ground. "And who are you suppose to be, baby? This boy's girlfriend or slave?" Ion asked, walking towards the woman slowly. Take out that lavender hedgehog, I'll get the woman... he thought to his sister, Ember. |

Ember frowned and sighed. Then she glanced at Starlight for a little bit and slowly walked towards her. Starlight slowly took a few steps back and was getting worried. She took a look at Ion and frowned at him. "Actually, his name is Star and i'm his girlfriend..." she answered him. "Oh, how sweet. The little baby has a boyfriend...hmph. Disgusting. Don't worry brother dear...i'll handle this one..." Ember said with a smirk. Starlight frowned as her Star Blade appeared in her hand and Ember's hands glowed with fire appearing. The she-hog charged at her and began to angrily attack her. But Ember threw fireballs at her, making Starlight yell and fall down on her body. "Ugh...h-how..." she groaned, slowly getting up. |

"You are such a fool. You're not thinking this through. Baby, I suggest planning first," Ion said to Starlight, folding his arms. "Raaaghh!" Star yelled, charging at Ion. He began to punch at him in the face, not backing up. He continued, furiously. Ion fell onto the floor and then laughed chaotically. Star got on his knees and began punching Ion in the face, furiously. Ion continued to heal though. Star jumped back, staring at Ion, backing away. "That isn't possible..." Star muttered, shaking his head. Ion stood up. "Star, if I offered to let you join, would you?" Ion asked, raising his eyebrow. "With me and Ember.." "No way," Star responded. "We'll leave if you do," he said. "No!" Star charged at him again, but then, fell and rolled across the ground. Ion stood up, shaking his head. "You're ridicoulous, Star," he said. "You can never beat us!" He ran at Star and kicked him, making Star roll over onto his back. Ion punched Star in the chest, electricuting him with dark electricity. Star yelled out in pain. Standing back up, Ion wiped his hands. Star was shaking, each time electricity coming out. |
