There was a ranch nearby, I was going to go steal soe eggs to have for breakfast. We didn;t have parents to provide, or any kmoney, and our stomach;s were as empty as our pocket's.

It always felt to me that Alexis was much older then me; being more violent and such. I was clearly the opposite of her. I wasn't much of a fighter, though I exceled in it, I didn't approve in stealing, but didn't dare tell Alexis not to. "Don't you think we should ask first?" he asked, frowning a bit as he followed her.

I never knew why he was always timid around me..I was younger, and a lot worse at fighting than he was. I sighed a bit. "No...we can;t talk to anyone remember?" I asked him ocnfuse. I hated when he acted like a younger sibling..he was a year, almsot two, older than me. I sighed and slipped under the railing of the ranch fence.

I ran quietly into the chiken coop. I sang softly to wake the chickens without scaring then, they looked at me and blinked, I picked it up and set it outside of it;s nest, then reached for the eggs. "Stop right there.." Someone said behind me, I froze and slowly turned around to face a night guard.

I grappled him by the neck, chocking him, bringing him onto his knees! I tried to get the knife, but it fell onto the ground. "Give it to me.." I said to Alexis, "quick..I need to end this.." I couldn't keep this up much longer.

"I-I don;t want to kill him Jake..." I said picking up the knife and hesitating to give it to him. I had the eggs tucked safely in my knapsack.

I ran over towards her, picking her up, placing her on my back. "Jeez...lose some weight..." I muttered, trying to make a run for it. Basically, I was jogging in the dark, which was NOT a good idea, at all. Especially when your opponent has a gun. I began to run and then hid in a deep patch of grass, laying Alexis out flat and then laying next to her, covering us up with yarn and grass.

I woke up a few minutes later and groaned loudly holding onto the back of my head. The eggs were still intact. I loked up and saw the guy standing behind us. he grabed into both our arm.s "Your both going to Juvvy..." he growled out. I was close to poassing out agian.
