I'm just saying that I think there's too many forums on the front page. Ordinarily this isn't a problem, but I find it difficult to navigate for the topics to talk about just Sonic. Maybe you could condense some of these forums, combine them, or make some sub forums of others? I think it would be easier to navigate if someone did this. There's just a lot.

I think Station Square Hangout and Entertainment Center could all be combined, Secrets of Sonic can be a sub-forum of Sonic Universe, Fan Character Shrine a sub of Muesuem of the Arts.

I think doing this will make the forum easier to navigate on. You could also make the sub-forums more noticeable somehow if you wanted to. It's just a suggestion from a member who is taking more time than needed finding where to talk about Sonic.

I honestly believe we should do away with subforums altogether; they serve no real purpose, other than forcing members to post topics that fall under the subject of a subforum in these dead sections of the board. :???:

I have never found this forum to be difficult to navigate, even back when I first joined and didn't know where anything was I never found it difficult, Even my friend Gardivoir who is still relatively new to the Internet (let alone forum's) does not find it difficult to navigate, I think the changes your proposing are unnesseary.

I agree. First of all, subforums suck and die because they go unnoticed. I have tried to move all of the main categories onto the front page. The fan character shrine was going dead so I moved it to the front.

Combining the Station Square and entertainment cafe is a good idea in theory, but what happens when some want to talk about entertainment and it's flooded by off-topic posts/vice versa?

How is it hard to navigate when you know where to talk anyway and there are very detailed descriptions on the categories to read if you are clueless. Not to mention if you are just completely unsure, you may ask on this forum.

Ha ha! The forum isn't near as difficult like some others. I won't refer to one another, but this isn't much considering each section is individual in a certain respectful matter to allow members to find what may interest em easily.

The only thing I can't figure is the lowest section of the forum. It arrived while I was on vacation. But there's always a purpose behind it.
Working on banner, but if your looking to have some time off. Come, visit my channel on youtube.

[insert something cheerful here]

I'm with Eevee on this one.

I was quite new to forums when I first joined, and yet it was seeing this so neatly organized and so very tidy what eased my stay here at first.

And while I do agree that too many sub-forums are unnecessary and things in sub-forums are widely neglected by members, I don't think sub-forums should be done away with like Dan suggests.

They help organize and keep things well categorized, preventing confusing and annoying clutter. Not to mention that without sub-forums, many topics would be lost in far pages, which would then lead people to constant bumping and page searching. This happens even with sub-forums, but having them makes it less likely, or at least that's how I've found it as an admin in other forums.
