	I have an interest in spriting. If anyone has a request, don't hesitate to ask. Deep stuff below: Spoiler: click to toggle The world. Filled with millions of differences. I could never understand what accesories they wanted me to use for each theme, the dancing portion was stupid, and the appeal round was using a move and nothing more. What happened to the whole strategizing to take the spotlight away from other contestants? Why can't I use Surf and Dive as a combo? How come I can't score more than 5 hearts anymore? Why doesn't my Earthquake nail black hearts on my adversaries' scores? Where the heck did the FUN go? Then again, none of that matters anyway, because HG/SS Pokeathelon trumps any Gen's contests. :3

Contests feel like a bit of a chore by comparison. >_>; Gen 3 contests were alright though. I didn't mind those. Gen 4 had some good things, but that accsessory stuff was meh. Deleted User	Gen 3's contests were fun; in my Ruby version I had pictures on the wall of Pokemon I'd won every category with. Gen 4's contests just weren't fun. And the Pokeathlon... Meh. I'm not very good at it, actually.

[insert something cheerful here] Posts: 8,037 Group: Former Monarchs Member #9,289 Joined: August 20, 2008	There are portions of the Pokeathelon that can be a pain (SNOWBALL FIGHT PORTION FOR THE SKILL COURSE ARGH WHY WON'T MY BALLS HIT THE OPPONENTS I THREW THEM WITH PERFECT AIM PERFECT AIM I SAY DAMMIT), but overall they're a fun little challenge that involves teamwork, the usage of the DS' second screen and whatnot. I liked them. <3 The only thing that did bug me was that my Pokemon's medals would vanish once I evolved them; then again, having to re-earned them would sum up to my score. My Kenya's registered as being two different Pokemon with medals each just because I won courses with her before and after evolving her. <3 Thanks to that, I got done with the whole "compete with 50 dif Pokemon" thing sooner than I was supposed to. Sometimes I wish I hadn't evolved her, though. Her Jump stat went down a little too severely...
