All that was.
I think the pokémon series has just dried up to be honest, while i will probably still buy Black or white, I'll probably just complete the story then leave it to rot; Theres just too many pokemon now, once you've completed the story the rest of the game is just mindless grinding in an effort to collect them all, after a few hundred this stops being fun, i remember when i got diamond i finished the story, messed around in the underground for a while, and tried to collect all the pokemon before getting bored and finding out my gameboy so i could play on yellow and get my pikachu to a high enough level to beat the master league and learn surf on pokemon stadium... But thats just my opinion...

The first details on special CoroCoro magazine; CoroCoro Special's October issue have started to come out through a Twitter, with thanks to Sabonea Masukippa for translation. This issue confirms a new feature within Double & Triple Battles called Combination Attacks. These attacks can be joined together if you select both attacks by selecting two or more specific attacks. Three examples of these attacks include Grass Oath, Fire Oath and Water Oath. We don't know how these work exactly but we have three examples;

If you use Grass Oath and Water Oath, the moves combine to make a Moor attack which lowers your opponent's speed.
In addition to that, Fire Oath and Water Oath create a Rainbow in the sky which boosts the likelihood of secondary effects occuring for your team mates.
Grass Oath & Fire Oath creates a Field of Fire which will cause damage to the opponents each turn.
These combinations, as well as being done together, also need to be done in order. For example, for the Grass/Fire Oath one, you'll need to use Grass Oath and then Fire Oath. It is unknown if all combination moves will be like this.
We'll bring more details on this brand new feature as and when it comes including and hopefully some scans & total confirmation so keep checking back.

Just some minor info, but I think it's worth sharing with everyone here:

Pokebeach.com

Pokemon Sunday just finished airing and showed a few clips from Black and White’s Battle Subway; you can watch a low-quality video of the segment below. They revealed that if you keep winning battles in the Battle Subway, a new character named the Subway Master appears presumably to challenge you (seen at 0:30 below). He is apparently the Palmer of the Battle Subway. Until the release of Black and White, Pokemon Sunday will be revealing something new about the games at the end of each episode. Next week they will be showcasing Pokemon Musicals.

So, basically, we can create fields which can either support our Pokémon team or do the opposite for our opponent. Awesome! ;] I wonder if we'll have the ability to create attacks with these new combos? Can't wait to hear more info about them.

^ANOTHER DEAD TROLL^
I been a long time Pokemon fan as I been with Sonic.
However I kinda died off with Pokemon since the Heart Gold release.

Personally, this will be my last bit of Pokemon after this 5th Gen.
Pokemon had been pushed to the extremes and over extended at times.
Same elements, same type of plot with some crazy Pokemon with these generations.

Generation with R/B/Y and G/S/C were good but after R/S/E and especially D/P/PLT they went ridiculous.
Some pokemon became unoriginal.
To be honest, the 5th gen starters are not as appealing or original either.
It's getting old to be quite real.

It's different with Sonic because each Sonic game introduce a new type of element and for the fact it's an adventure and platform game. Pokemon does the same but you always have that "Team Gangster" trying to take over the legendary pokemon of some crud. Then you come and take over, earn 8 badges and beat the elite four. Blah Blah.

I can barely pick up my DS anymore to play the pokemon series.
It's good for certain amount of play and then it gets old and kinda repetitive.

I am probably bashing Pokemon because I haven't played it often, but the 5th gen will and only be my last Pokemon game when Black and White releases.

5th gen will contain more evolutions, which they should do. Not many pokemon had evolutions.
Which will be an improvement.
It is currently unknown if the pokemon following you feature will be added in Black and white, like in Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Last reason for making this my last Pokemon game, is the fact it's the last for the DS.
I probably won't care to buy their 3DS or their "6th Gen" Pokemon game. That goes far enough.
If a remake of ruby and sapphire were made, I may consider.
Pokemon Ruby was my favorite version.

Team Rocket was the most baddarsest group of pokemon villains ever and I love them because they actually had the stones to kill pokemon.

Also, in the manga (SURPRISED ME TOO), they were STILL pretty f$%@ing cool.

An' I HATE manga. WITH A BURNING PASSION OF APPROXIMATELY A THOUSAND SUNS. POSSIBLY MORESO.

If they bring back the ol' team rocket in some form of badass maner, I will buy this game so fast, it won't, for once, feel like I'm buying pron.

You know, where you walk around a bit, looking at other games, then asking someone to get the game out of the glass case, then walking up to the cashier, who will always give you a weird look if you're getting the game at walmart, and then you make up some lame excuse of it being "for your little sister".

But then, who buys pron for their little sister anymore?

These popped up recently, so I say HAVE SOME VIDYAS. |P

This one's pretty much a whole bunch of TV spots thrown into one video.

This one explains various features... in Japanese. XD

This one is kind of like "Welcome to the world of Pokemon" for Black and White.

You can hear some of the battle music in the second and third ones, which is nice. Plasma has a pretty neat logo. Evolution looks kinda trippy now. That's all from me cause I'm lazy. :P

Combination attacks? AWESOME!

Now all we need is some TEAM combinations getting benefits (as with Plusle and Minun (and whatever 5th gen Pokemon it is who can have Plus or Minus) becoming stronger in Double Battles because of their abilities, but rather who the Pokemon are (or their species) and possibly what typing they are), and we'd be set.

EXAMPLE: If you have the three 'Hitmon' Pokemon (Chan, Lee, and Top) were in a Triple Battle all together, they would receive a boost to their Attack and Defense stats.
I have an interest in spriting. If anyone has a request, don't hesitate to ask.

Deep stuff below:

Here are the starters' final evolutions:

Pokebeach.com

Lately I’ve been doing everything I can to avoid posting rumors and unconfirmed images from Japanese forums such as 2ch, but it seems this rumor now has some weight to it. A few days ago, the supposed evolutions of Tsuutaja, Pokabu, and Mijumaru appeared on Japanese forum 2ch; the person who posted the photos said nothing beyond stating they are the starters’ evolutions. Since then, there has been a lot of controversy over whether the four Pokemon are real or not (we already saw Tsutaaja’s and Mijumaru’s evolutions on the anime character sheet, so technically it’s only four new Pokemon). The photos of the evolutions from 2ch are below.

Three days ago, the webmaster of the Spanish Pokemon site Pokexperto, Melkor, received word from a “special source” that the evolutions on 2ch are real and thus posted them as such. The website has posted information from this special source before and it has turned out to be true, so I had reason to believe Melkor was telling the truth. In conferring with him today, I was able to see some of the material the source had given him, including a sprite of Tsutaaja’s final evolution (which matches the photo) and a sprite of another Pokemon. To test if the source was giving Melkor genuine images and to test if Melkor was telling me the truth, I asked him to describe the appearance of the covered-up Pokemon from the Pokemon Musical screenshot on the official Black and White website; he gave me a very specific description of it on the spot, and I’ll just say one word: eyebrows. If the description he told me is true, his source and the starters below will obviously be validated. Regardless, you obviously have the choice to believe the legitimacy of the evolutions or not.

Additionally, a screenshot of a new Pokemon was just leaked on 2ch: it’s apparently a blue Yanappu! I wonder if they’ll be a Fire-type one too… and if Dento’s Gym will use all three! ;)

Now, which one will all of you be getting? I'm personally sticking with Tsuutaja, his final evolution looks awesome if you ask me. Mijumaru's evolutions look pretty cool too.

Update: Black and White apparently will have a monkey trio.

Pokebeach.com

Additionally, an image of a new Pokemon was just leaked on 2ch: it’s apparently a blue Yanappu named Baoppu! According to the person who posted it, there will be a monkey trio in the games: Hiyappu (Fire), Yanappu (Grass), and Baoppu (Water). As you can see below, Baoppu’s head is slightly different than Yanappu’s, so the three monkeys will obviously differ in appearance. Could these be the gimmickis Pokemon used to promote three-on-three battles like how Plusle and Minun were the gimmick Pokemon for two-on-two battles? It makes sense considering Acrobat is an attack made for three-on-threes. These three Pokemon will apparently appear in Dento’s Gym.

Just like how Plusle and Minun were the 3rd generation's gimmick Pokémon for double battles, the monkey trio appears to be this new generation's gimmick for triple battles.
