Pokemon: 5th Generation

Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	When Pokemon Sunday (The japanese all-pokemon TV show) this week showed a perview of there next episode fans around the world were stuned to see the main presenter holding up a display with a giant qeastion mark on it, in the past this has been used when they are about to announce new pokemon (most recently the different forms of Shaymin, Giratina, Rotom and Pichu) However with all '4th gen' games released there is no more new forms to be reveiled, this has lead many to believe that the inevitable 5th generation will soon be revealed. Adding to this rumour CoroCoro magazine (normally the first to reveal new pokemon information) has gone to press saying that they have a huge announcement to reveal in there next issue. We won't know anything for sure until the end of the week, but if the rumours are to be ture it will certainly be interesting to see where Nintendo take the series from here. It's really almost around that time to start getting some info (if you look at the past years): 1995- 1st generation 1999/2000- 2nd generation 2003- third generation 2007- fourth generation Theoretically, the 5th generation should be ready by 2011/2012. This seems like the right time to get some first handed info.

If this is the next generation, it seems a little early to me, but if they want to tell what they are so soon, that's their choice. I would think that another game wouldn't be coming out for another year or so likely.
	I'm a gamer and always will be a gamer. If you don't believe me. I have 430 Video Games and 19 Consoles. I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P So, let's see if you can outdo "The Jet Gamer"

Remember when Gold and Silver were released two of the Pokemon (Togepi and Marill) were already know about long before hand thanks to the anime witch did the same with ruby and sapphire by showing Kecleon early as well. And lets not forget Munchlax and Bonsly made an early appearance in Pokemon X-D (sorry I can put the X and the D together because it turns into an emoticion) so showing Pokemon off early is nothing new. I still need to get Diamond and Pearl for my DS But anyways, seeing as they 'revamped' the Gold and Silver games, I guess it would make sense to bring on the 5th gen now... However, they could always just revamp Red and Blue... Maybe even Yellow... As well, it would be cool to have a pokemon of your choosing to walk around with you like they had pikachu follow you around in yellow. That would be cool to see int he 5th gen game. Now, on to the anime!! I just recently started to get to know the 4th gen, not really, but once I get Pearl or Diamond I'll be more familiar with the 4th gen. But, I do wonder what this 5th gen is going to be like. I mean, we still have a good number of pokemon that don't have any evolve forms yet. Or pre-evolve forms. As well, I mentioned this to someone on this forum, but I don't think that Deoxy was the only 'alien' pokemon. I mean, it was a virus that mutated into a pokemon, but still. There could be many other pokemon from space, who knows right?shrugs Anyways, I'm pretty excited about the 5th gen. Can't wait!

IMO, there's just not enough of them. Heck, the 4th gen only had the Chimchar series, Magmortar, and then Heatran if I remember correctly. Now that really disappointed me.
