Time for a little bit of critique! I hope it helps.

My intuition tells me that the piece is lacking a bit in terms of composition - it appears that you've thrown together seperate elements, rather than making any effort to fit them together in a balanced way. Composition isn't something I can offer you any expert advice on, but try checking out some of the tutorials on deviantART.

Your background is completely blank - I think this looks out of place for Mario box art. Blank backgrounds are usually associated with a slightly more minimalistic art style, which isn't suitable for this kind of game and requires a certain kind of composition.

It appears that your artwork could benefit from some better art supplies (high quality supplies also tend to be easier to use), I would suggest that you pick up some high-quality colouring pencils at your local art store.

Your lines are looking very light - if this is the darkest you can manage with that pencil, I would again suggest that you obtain a pencil capable of sharper, darker lines.

I think that you have done well drawing the characters themselves. Luigi's hand isn't perfect (hands are tricky - you should look up some tutorials on hand anatomy on the internet, and also try drawing from photographs of real hands) and somebody already pointed out that Mario's looking a bit "pointy" in places, but I suspect that it was only a temporary mistake that you do not normally make. In future, I would recommend checking your lineart for errors (and then correct them, of course) before colouring.
