I have had more memories than I can count with SEGA games and consoles. But I doubt they're going to do it; they never officially announced it. And they have never made another since the DreamCast, I highly doubt they are going to start now. Unfortunately. Plus there were rumors all over the place for a long time. I remember a rumor very close to this back in 2005, and 2009. I've seen 'em many times. I doubt this time is any different, unfortunately. But if SEGA did decide to make another console, I know they'll do a great job with it. Especially if they bring back Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Edited by Eivana, Jan 16 2010, 02:48 PM.

I never had a Dreamcast, but after I fell in love with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Gamecube, I've always thought the Dreamcast was pretty awesome (just for that one game to be honest). Plus, people have said it was a great game to begin with.

I would love it if Sega did their own consoles again. My Segas were always, and still are, my favourite consoles. I love them to bits. And I`d be one of the first people to buy it if the console came out. But I`m not sure if the competition going on would be in their favour enough for them to try. They slunk into third party gaming and people, mostly Sonic fans, have been doing a lot of bitching and complaining on Sega. I`m not sure if would be a good idea for them to do it right now, but I`d support them nonetheless.

Sega has already stated they have officialy dropped out of the console run, back when the Dreamcast failed to compare to the PS2. Its also highly ulikely, as stated previously, that if Sega were to send out a new console, during the middle of the current console war, the console would quickly die. Also considering the fact, that there are two consoles here, make it hard to beleive Sega could mass produce two advanced console for a forgoeing population of billions. And most promonite of these facts, everyone already owns either a Wii, XBox, or PS3, makeing it hard to beleive they'd buy a fourth console.

Every bloody year this rumor gets started and there's lots of fans who are like "COME ON SEGA DO IT OR I WILL CUT MYSELF CAUSE YOU FAILED ME," or some crap like that. I don't think people relise that the console market is dogged by 3 major competitors and any competitors that try to get in now need to be in a major company or their going to get eaten alive. Besides, I don't have room for a new Sega console

But that's just one of those plug in and play consoles that has the old games on it. I don't think SEGA would be re-entering the console wars with that.

I doubt they are releasing another console but Sega is now listening to the fans. I bet that in some years Sega will not rely on Nintendo anymore and will become that great company they used to be again. I believe that in some years, Sonic will race up the top ten games list and will beat the living snot out of Mario.
	I am making a Sonic series which will be released to Sonic Blast members ONLY till an amount of time. Sonic Blast members will get teasers of the episodes and will get to watch them about a week before the public. HOWEVER, I need music. I already know a site but I need to refer people to let me download the music. It has tons of music which is EXACTLY what I need.
