After all, a writer's club achieves sadly little if there aren't writers to be had /= But, I have confidence based on what I've seen at this library, at the roleplaying section, and on other forums that Sonic Blast is rife with talented authors, just waiting for a group that will... what? That's the other question. What do the writers of Sonic Blast want from their writing club? A source for competition? An editors' group? A reference center for grammatical questions? If we pick this up again, put in all the work, all the time, all the thought, what's it for? Discuss what you want here. I'll try to make it happen :3 Edited by Katsuko, Dec 17 2009, 04:14 PM.

Sure, people read them, as the view of said fanfic rises. But no one comments on it(most people anyways.) Now, am I saying I comment on every fanfic I click on, no. However, I have a little 'code' I stick by, and its called, 'scratching our backs.' This simply means, I read AND comment on your fanfic, and you return the favor. Those that have read my fanfic, I try my best to at LEAST comment once on their fanfic, or when ever they make a new installment. Now, the problem with this little 'code,' is people might be too focus on their fanfic to go and comment on other people's fanfic. Prime example: I promise Blaire I'd keep to reading her fanfic. However, I got caught up with writing my own fanfic that I didn't realize she had made SEVERAL installments when I went to check up on her fic. In short, I think that is what most of us want, people to comment on our fanfics. If no one comments, they tend to lose interest in writing their fanfic, because they think no one is actually reading it.

For example, it could be a place to get advice for ones writing-how to combat Writer's Block, making sure one's grammar is sound, or just getting ideas for a fanfic.

There's nothing as irritating as spending countless hours battling a word processor�and much more time than that behind the scenes crafting a story and its characters�just to watch the writing sink slowly to the bottom of a pile of unread fiction. That said, I don't think there's anything this group can do about that except maybe create a core of dedicated critics. In the end, it's the writer's job to make sure that the writing is so impressive and so different that readers will have to comment. Quote: There are so many things we could do with this section. It's on the banner, and I like that banner, incorrect apostrophe and all <3 While Critic's Corner might be a nicer name, if we went with that, it would call for new art, a new group name, among other bits of administrative work�hoops too high to jump through for something as superficial as a name. Anyway, exams end for me on Friday at noon, and I ship off for Oklahoma Sunday morning. That means that anything I want to get done needs to be up and running Saturday evening.
