(Alright, I've reached the maximum number of members I wanted in this. I wont be taking anymore, but if you TRULY want to be in this and think you can keep up, pm me and we'll talk. I wont be accepting anyone/everyone, so if I tell a person no and another one yes, don't get mad at me.) The Orb of Thirty Three Threats There once was a orb that held a strong and powerful magic. Energy that surpassed the spirits. An orb that can destroy, or bring life. Many have tried to find and use its power, but each time someone tried to obtain it, wars would break out and many would die. Finally, one single soul was forced to find it against her will, and succeeded she did. Once in her hands, she was torn by the power of the orb, and couldn't let her master obtain this wondrous power. Shattered it she did, forcing it into three pieces that spread out between two lands; the land of the living, and the land of the spirits. All who fought to keep it save, and all who fought to obtain it died. The very few who knew of this un-named war were young and clueless. But overtime, they gained the knowledge of their fathers and grandfathers. However, the location of the shattered pieces were unknown still. As time moved on, this knowledge was passed down from generation to generation, as each one looked and searched for the orbs. Several hundred years passed as the number of people that knew about this orb became less and less. Soon, only four individuals remained. However, it didn't remain this way. The fourth one discovered where the two orbs are; one was in the world of the living, and the other was in the world of the spirits. The one that discovered their whereabouts died before finding the third piece. Knowing the two orbs were far from ever meeting, the trio soon tossed these legendary items in the back of their mind, forgetting about them and thinking that no harm will ever come from this. Sadly, they were mistaken. Thirty Three Threats Awaken Though the orbs were forgotten, they were still present. On the day that the orb shattered the sky turned two colors, gold and silver. However, that was what the sky looked like in the world of the living. The battle, and the shattering of the orb took place in the world of the spirits. The sky there turned black and white. As well, when the orb shattered the spirit world and the world of the living started to merge together. This allowed strange phenomenons to be displayed in both worlds, while also allowing both the living beings and spirit beings to cross over into the other world without knowing. This merge lasted for thirty three days, bring all sorts of disasters and chaos to both worlds. Its said when the sky changes its color to gold and silver, black and white, the worlds will see a horror they both of them can not stop. Now, thousands and thousands of years later, this tale is written in books, plays, movies, and so on. Brought up only as fictional and not true. However, the world of the spirits has been shattered by horror as it's sky turns a gold and black color. They can not explain this happening, as their sky was suppose to turn white and black according to legend. They can only fear for the worst, and hope this is not a forgotten sign of the Thirty Three Threats. Plot: Your character will be caught in the middle of this mess of course, however, its up to you if your character lives in the spirit world or in the world of the living. You don't have to be dead to live in the spirit world. Both worlds has the same species, they just may look different by appearance, weapons, powers/abilities, food, ect. Starting Points: - Spirit World: If your starting in the spirit world, the sky hasn't turned black and gold yet. There is going to be an event that leads up to it. However, until then, you can investigate this old legend or simply go about doing your own thing. Remember, things in the world of the living are very strange for you that lives in the spirit world. - World of the Living: If your starting here in some city, then your sky will also turn a certain color when the spirit world's sky does. But until then, many strange and odd things will be happening. Its up to you to investigate them, or simply try to go about your days trying to ignore the strange happenings. - Note: Some spirits and living beings might of got stuck on the other side when the merge broke and everything was fixed. Something to think about when deciding where you want to start off. That could also be a motive to want to find the pieces of the orbs, to return to your rightful world, or you can try to stop this event so you can stay where you are because of a love interest, or whatever, ect. - Note 2: Spirit beings do not like those that are living beings. They will allow them to live in their world, but show them disrespect and look down upon them. Some will try to kill them, others feel for them and invite them with kindness. There are very little that are kind to them however. The same is for spirits living in the world of the living. They are feared and seen as a threat. Keeping a low profile would be best for spirits living in the world of the living since they are sometimes hunted. Rules: You know them, so follow them. - no god moding - no controlling other people's characters - don't say your attack hit, give the other person a chance to react - don't dodge everything, play fair - stick to the plot - don't post one liners, post enough so we all have something to work with(this is also an advance rp) - wait for others, don't make it a two person rp and leave people behind - have fun!  )Second, what limitations are there for weapons, and is there a certain amount with powers available? Second I make one for now, if there's a chance to add more, I'll probably do so. Name. Drake Age. 27 Species. Fox Spirit/Living. Living Gender. Male Powers. Advanced Archery, Stealth Excellent Hearing. At least as by far an animal can listen to the sounds within a certain radius. Easily eavesdropping on conversations even if behind a wall. This doesn't include thicker and more sound-proof ones that is. Fast Fire Rate. Since time, he have learned to use his bow at an fast alarming rate. Thus he have learned to add new arrows without difficulties. Thus create a medium increase of fire-rate. Scattered Arrow. No, it won't make as two, but it will be useful versus armed foes. Imbued with some magic, it's meant to slow down for a short duration his nemesis. Have limited arrows, and due need to found some sort of flower, known as Cairn's Rose. Three Second. The arrow is imbued with a small explosive. It's limit is rather short, because it will blow after Three seconds. Also have a few available arrows due to each one is fragile and tend to stitch around his belt, rather then back in his ordinary quiver pack. Sneak. While he won't turn invisible, he can however take form of trees and rocks alike. Yet he won't be able to attack from this form, but this tend to give him a slight advantage to sneak up on someone behind. Weapons. Bow of Fate, a set with 30 quivers, and 3 explosive ones around his belt. Usually each one is covered with an extra small blanket. And a small knife for stab missions and last sort of defence. World. Living Appearance. He's a white fox with short/medium long hair, with a medium sized tail. Clothes; no shoes for obvious matters. No one have been able to make one, at least for now. Red shorts, with a red similar belt. He wears a white t-shirt with two wolfs stand on their back feet, armed with swords and shield alike. Around his neck, a small necklace that once where his mother's father, and now is his. It looks like a cross, with a bird twisted around it. Other times, he wears little cloth or well suited armour for the objective. //I create the second character tomorrow. And to make it clear. Weapon wise, I'm not holding back restrictions. I mean, if you want a 8 foot tall axe, be my guest. Just make sure you play it realistically. Meaning, you won't be able to swing an 8 foot tall axe easily with one hand, unless your giant.(which would mean you belong in the spirit world.) So, as long as your realistic about it its fine. Powers wise, don't go over the top as to god-mode here. Anything goes I guess, just don't overwhelm said character with a bunch of powers that makes 'em a mini god. I mean, even my Deity characters aren't mini gods power wise. So, yeah. Just be fair I guess. Once we get one more person, or another question, or when someone else posts in here, I'll throw in my characters.(however, I'll be using a lot more then three for the sake of this rp. NPC characters and the like of course.) |

More Info Spirit World There is a group that is well known in the spirit world. They are called soul reapers. Their object has always been to purify evil spirits known as Vilents, who were once called Hollows. The name Hollows as been long forgotten, and no one can recall why the Hollows were renamed Vilents. Even more so, they can't recall how the appearance of Hollows looked before them became Vilents. Only soul reapers know this information. However, after the thirty three days of the merge, the soul reapers were never heard of again. Now, its rare to see a soul reaper within the spirit world, along with a few other spiritual beings and creatures. As well, there have been more attacks of these evil spirits known as Vilents without the soul reapers here to protect the them. But recently, the continuous attacks have stopped all together. This has been going on for several months now. World of the Living Since the merge, strange events have been happening. As well, the population has suddenly grew. The reason is, spirits are now hiding among the living. As well, soul reapers have been spotted more and more ever since as time goes on. However, known can confirm what their purpose is here, and if they mean harm. Vilents have been running ramped, and the war between the two groups become more exposed as time went on. Recently, soul reapers have disappeared from sight now. There are more sightings of Vilents then there are of soul reapers. This has been going on for a few months now, however, for the past two weeks, no sightings of vilents have been seen. As well, strange and odd happens have been displayed all over the city. Building completely vanishing with people inside them. cars getting sucked into the ground without there being any trace that it was there to be begin with. And many many more odd happenings. Name: Sydin Age: 800 Apparent age: 27 Species: Hybrid(unknown furry in other words) Spirit/Living: Spirit Gender: Male Powers: None Weapons: Soul Slayer, it has a spirit of its own, and produces spirit energy based attacks. World: World of the Living Appearance:  Name: Vapor Age: More then 1000 years old Apparent age: 24 Species: Human/Deity Spirit/Living: Spirit Gender: Male Powers: - Swordsmanship/fighting - can breath under water - swims extremely fast Weapons: - Armor: The armor he wears keeps him protected of course, but if any water or ice type attacks hits him, it does nothing at all, making him immune to water and ice attacks completely - Sword: His sword weld's his spirit water attacks and powers. He himself can not control or create water/ice, only his weapons can. - Shield: His shield does the same thing as his sword, providing him the ability to control and create water and ice. Again, he himself can not control or create water or ice. World: Spirit World Appearance:  Let me know if we should start now, or wait for a few more. |

Name: Vurado Saffruge Age: 20 Apparent age: 18 Species: Half-vampire, half-fruit bat Spirit/Living: Living Gender: Male Powers: Partial shadow/light manipulation and control, heamokinesis, basic vampire attributes Weapons: Anything he can make with the blood he touches, but cannot make complex objects like guns and bikes World: Spirit Appearance: Stands 6 1/2 feet tall. Pale tan skin. Has natural black bat ears and wings. His hair is black with tints of pale grey stripes going to the back of his head. Wears a tight-fitting red shirt with black stripes going down the sleeves and a black, sleeveless jacket with the zipper open. Has pale blue jeans on with a silver chain dangling at his side. Black leather gloves adorn his hands with his fingers exposed. On his feet are boots of the same pale blue as his jeans with pale grey stripes going down the sides. His right eye is blood red in color. His left eye, a vertically slit emerald green pupil against an unnatural blood red color, is usually covered in public by an eyepatch made of blood using his heamokinesis. This is because his left eye is a call sign that, though he is good in nature, he is the descendant of someone who was pure evil. Anything I have to change? |

The first and only time I used this char was on DF's Air Castle RP and I barely got to use him, so I'm giving him some air. XP Bio Sheet: Name: Pygmalion Age: Undetermined Apparent age: 30 Species: A non-dreamed creature in the form of an echidna Spirit/Living: Living Gender: Male Powers: He is capable to create things and beings that exits only in fantasies and dreams, though some of them may look ordinary, physically. Anything he creates with mentality will act as his servant, but they are basically non-existant, so they will not die and they do not feel, though they can imitate emotions if needed. They disappear and re-appear at random, but can be drawn back or become completely useless if he is ill, unable to think right or dying/dead; he is basically like any other living being and a mere combatant when it comes to battles. Weapons: none World: World of the Living Appearance: He looks like an echidna with locks long enought to nearly reach his waist. His pelt is of a bright, silver-like gray, and he usually wears a leather get-up: his shirt has long sleeves, he wear long pants, boots, gloves; each piece is a different shade of black, some almost of a very dark gray color. His muzzle is of a dark beige, as well as the inside of his ears, and he has dark blue eyes. Let me know if anything needs to be changed. |

Also if the person "slowed down" were hit by a punch/ect. the force of it will also be slowed down, meaning after the 30 secs the person will feel the punches/etc. even if John is no where near them. Also on Moving objects(Bullets and such.) Hmmm, I'm thinking about having you give the guy a different power, or add more limitations, but since that is his only power, and it needs to come in contact with the person, and since its an attack as the beam needs to hit the person, I'll let it slide. However, the 'don't say your attack hit' rule falls heavily on you because of your power.( I don't mean its double for you or worse or anything, I'm just saying you need to REALLY keep an eye on fairness with your powers.  )Proceed to get your character caught up.
