Christmas is back again

//No fancy, fancy I know. Hope it will due however. As we're both in class. And we're humans for now. That is all. No character sheet needed.))

Modern Time. Fall 2009 at November the 27th.

Interests about our fallen brethren since time when man wore swords, shields and armour. Meet at class A7, at 3Pm, where we'll have an extraordinary hour with histories.
At first, little showed care, after all, most of them wished to head home or whatever we use our time with.

It took weeks, and alas there was a mere few who'd volunteered.
That is until this afternoon, when the historian teacher had written more information on the next approached event.
A secret visitor who apparently is known to live under his forefathers known as the Lin'qe Tribe.

And so class begins with the unbearable teacher's speech.
"Welcome students, I'm so thrilled to introduce our visitor who've come from far away."

On the back-line, seated on the very far left, close to the windows.
A boy in the mid-20's looked out through the window. Careless what nonsense where said. Each one, however had been obligated to meet, because of this unknown guest.
Like what possible interest could he have in some Chinese/Korean clan. At least the name sounded like it wasn't American.

She continued, as she had it all made up. When would this secretive member arrive. Jason sighed heavily out of boredom.

A young women sat at her desk, bored out of her skull. She normally liked History, to an extent. But today, this 'Tribe of Lin'qe' was not piqing her interests.

"Hmm, hopefully this visitor will make it sound exciting..."

She took a deep breath, wishing she could be in any other glass-Art, English, Chemistry-anything except Alegbra, that is. She hated that class, even though she got all in it.

Nervous as she looked out at her students, who've obvious dreamt into their own thoughts.
A knock on the door, relieved her. By entering the classroom, the students would see an old man, about the 70's enter.
He wore a black dress, obvious of high value. Shoes could be reminded about our own grandpa in brown polished quality. And of course a stock, because he couldn't walk without a bit of aid.

"Is this is?" Jason retort out of no interest to hear on an old man, who'd obvious had lived on fancy fully-made-stories.

"Show some respect young man." The teacher didn't like his attitude, but she couldn't finish, before the man finally takes a seat and urges everyone to listen.

"Welcome children. I'm Akio Eioshima. And I've come here to..."

Jason couldn't help it, but these formal introductions and even the slight mention of history class, led him bored out of proportions. However he sighed heavily as soon his teacher looked at him with a stern look, as she'd knew he meant trouble.
All she wished where to throw him outside.

"So before I continue, is there any questions relating to Lin'qe or should I continue." His voice, so slow as if each word lasted for five seconds. And even the low sound, he managed to bring, led most of the students to lean forwards, as if trying to look interested.

Blaire (yes, I'm using my human self :D ) leaned forward upon hearing the man speak. Though she was a tad bored, she at lease made an attempt to look somewhat interested.

So before I continue, is there any questions relating to Lin'qe or should I continue?

Wasting no time, the woman raised her hand. "Yes, I have a question," she began in a polite tone of voice. "What is Lin'qe?"

The old man chuckled, before he returned a small smile, even if those teeth obvious had seen better times.
"The Lin'qe is an old warrior clan, who once traversed land and sees like bandits and criminal scum's. Some would even take them worse then pirates on the seven seas." He silenced for a second, as another hand raised from the crowds.

"So what your saying is... That your forefathers and mothers where violent and ruthless warriors that plundered our lands in medieval times?"

"Hmm... That's a clever one there student. Well I have not much to be proud of, when it concerns my brethren scavengers. However let me come down to the conclusion. Each one individual of this clan also inherited waste knowledge. Actually that's what I'm here for. Because I want to show you this little box here."
At the same time, he revealed a small golden chest, who obvious looked highly advanced if this where from the ancestors them self.

It would almost seem he wished for another student to ask him once more.

"Can you tell us what is inside that chest?" Blaire asked, actually growing curious about what was inside. Despite it all, the man was actually making this Lin'qe Tribe sounding almost interesting. And Blaire wanted to know more.

For a moment, he trickled around carefully with his hands, as to release some sort of mechanism that would reveal further what this chest contains.
Without words, a small click sound, embraced a lucent flash from it's core. With each second, it extended until another familiar noise lifted it's lock to an extent, before a small stave increased it's altitude. The old man, had to shift his attention towards the teacher, as he couldn't release the box now. That would end the sequence, that wasn't all, it could also permanently destroy it's magical release.

Students wowed of interest, even Jason had taken towards this class's lecture.

One minute turned into five. The stave had fully revealed it self like a white flower with a fastened process. Akio removed both hands, exhausted he leant back on his chair, before he closed his eyes.
For a brief moment he looked more dead then alive. Yet a slight movement eased someone's nervousness. Like their female teacher.

"What is that?" Someone in the crowds started to ask.

Another female answered, as if she had any more knowledge what this could be. "It's some sort of witchcraft." That's when she realised that such sorcery doesn't exist and it must be some sort of better explanation towards the artefact.

Once more the crowds silenced, as the man finally comes to life. "Ho ho ho! I must admit, each time I use this, it almost feels like my heart will explode." Another pause before he looked down at the children with a faint smile. "So this is the first ever made artefact to the Lin'qe tribe."

"Whoa..." Blaire said, almost speechless. "That's the first ever artifact from the tribe? Does it have any sort of magical properties?" the girl asked, remembering the proccess used to open the chest it was once in.

"Of course..." The man turned it's attention towards the stave once more. The man fetched both hands around the stave, or what looked more like a staff, as he lifted it from the box's remains.
It looked like a black ball with reflections of the students and teacher.
He felt an sudden interest to leave his seat. Now with the handle of his rod, facing the floor.
"Now children, behold the marvellous of wonders of this relic."

Within a few seconds, the man looked as if he'd be sent into some sort of trance. He mourned a few words, that couldn't make that out of a human.
The teacher found his teaching awkward and where about to interfere as she had no wish to see the classroom burst into flames or whatever he's set in motion.

Yet she hadn't time to react. The blast reeked out from it's black core, and sent each one from their seats backwards. At the same time, their teacher was thrown out the window, as each one scattered into hundreds of deadly fragments.
At the same time, the old man shifted form into a malevolent sloth demon. Each one of the students would be blanked out from the shock, and would awaken in a world known as the Fade. That's where we think our dreams are real.
And from there awakened in a different set of time, and realm. Blaire and Jason would be one of the few fortunate to survive the massive obscurity this fade would deliver. A tainted God in the form of a severed beast, alas it could also remind about our fairytale character, known as dragons.

What obvious would awaken them where the sheer laughter from the old man him self, as he'd obvious had sent them in a world where different rules is meant to be followed.

The boy found him self close a farm-hold. Familiar animal sounds in the distance. He couldn't believe his eyes. He rubbed both of them, as if he couldn't realise that this was no dream, but in fact realism.
Since he knew Blaire for a while, she would be his first most concern. As he looked around, but there was no sign of her.
With a blunt movement with his hands, he forced him self back on both feet. His so-ever-confidentialness had abandon him, as this was all new to him. "Where am I?" He asked him self, before he decided it's best to search for someone else of his class.

With great interest, Blaire watched as the man removed a long staff. On its end, was a well-polished black sphere. As the man held the rod, Blaire listened to him murmer something she could not understand.

Suddenly, Blaire was thrown back, her head hitting the back of one of the desks. She moaned a few times, before completly blacking out. When she woke up, she found herself near a tranquil creek. With a grunt, she stood up, and had a look around.

"Sometime tells me I'm not even close to where I should be..."

Curse that old man. If I ever see him once more, I will not hesitate to stab him to death. Jason wished to avenge Akio, but he knew hatred wouldn't solve his current situation.
The field stretched far in all directions. With a few cattle's scattered in small individual packs.

With no real interest in farm animals, the student arrived towards the field's fence. Made from wooden material cut down from the forest, on the far reaches, in southern direction.
Little activeness found outside, led him to climb over, as he wished to find someone alive, that could obvious tell him where on earth he's been sent to.
Even the structure looked like if it's made from the 15th century. But that's impossible, isn't it.

The boy continued to walk until a noise led his attention drawn towards the road. But there was none to be seen. He felt lonely and helpless. "Hello!" He shouted as if someone could hear him.

Cautiously, Blaire walked along the creek line, wondering where she could have been transported to. As she looked around, she noticed that there were buildings off in the distance. But instead of the modern homes she was accustomed to, these edifices looked like they looked like they could belong in the medeivel times.

"Am I...near a renisance fair? If that's the case, maybe I can ask someone for help!" the woman shouted, breaking into a run, the thought of returning home in her mind.

None would answer his call. It troubled him, as he continued to walk aimlessly around the house to look for some sort of live activeness. Someone he could communicate with and ask, what dreary place he'd stumbled upon.
The old man's laughter was the last he'd remember. Could this staff have some source that could actually mean time-travel.

Not sure whether he should smile at the current situation or blatant curse aloud, as if noone would even care about his rambling.
However this could prove most entertaining, as if this where all a trick, and this is actually what Akio wished to show.

"Nooo!" The shear destruction that caused his own teacher been thrown out from the window, falling into her immediate death. He screamed out in agony, before settling down onto his knees.

---

It was indeed a small town, filled with humans and alike. Yet someone would watch the female human made a run for it, from the creek. The creature hissed, before cautiously started to run after her, and with each move, accelerating forwards as if he found her like a tasteful prey.
A vicious roar emitted from behind, as it closed onto her. White skin, and what could resemble like a wolf, but obvious more in common with a werewolf. But since it's of no human form, the conclusion is more leant towards one of the rarities. An albino wolf, because of it's whole whiteness.

Fortunate men from the town had heard the creature's violent roar and came outwards to aid the student. Swords and axes where their weapons of choice, and a shield to cover from the foul beast's claws.
"Run... Run... We'll cover you!" One of the man raised his voice, like an heroic warrior shout, but in an awkward and desperate fashion.

((Well we don't have any weapons. So we're kinda helpless for the moment.))

Blaire ran with all her might, trying to escape that white wolf. But a track star she was not, and so she quickly found herself growing tired.

Run... Run... We'll cover you!

Hearing that voice caused Blaire to raise her head, and she noticed a group of people armed with axes and swords. With a nod to the man's response, the student veered to the left, away from the wolf.

In it's defence the wolf averted from the current hunt, as he obvious wished not to encounter resistance alone. The coward shifted back it's attention towards the forest.
The men seized their march forwards, with relieved expressions. "Yeah! You'd better run wolf." One of the men shouted after some fortuitous victory.

Another man, who walked forth, as to address the female who where found rather unfamiliar in these parts. "Greetings my lady, what business would such a beauty like you do, out in the wilderness?"
The man worn brown clothes, with a white shirt, or at least it had been. Now filled with dust as it surrounded him, as each one of these brave men tried to act like the heroes their not.
No more then ordinary villagers they are.

---

"What's it worth." He finally realised as he quietly ended his futile scream.
With little morale left, he walked eastwards where the road would lead him. Could he meet the farmers on the gravel road ahead of him.
Or was that too much to ask for.
