This is hard to explain, but does it ever happen to you where something happens, or particularly you see a scene in front of you, where you think; "I am absolutely ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN this or something like this has happened before, or I've seen this before. But it couldn't have happened before because I'm also ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN it hasn't happened before, or, in some cases, I've never even been to this place and seen this before in my life." It's happened to me loads of times.

Oh GODS yes. I used to get it on a weekly basis, I kid you not. Nowadays it's more of a MONTHLY basis. T'was downright creepy. |

Usually I feel the same way when I see someone too. Some people have turned out to be people I've known since the diaper days, but others I swear I have never seen before, but recognized them from somewhere or something. I actually met my girlfriend with this whole Deja Vu thing. Except, she had the Deja Vu, not me, but still. It's a weird feelin. |

^ Same here. It's really creepy, becuse sometimes I remember not only seeing things, but hearing things as well. For example I once heard myself saying something, and then a few days/weeks/months (I can't remember) I had the feeling I had saw the scenario before, and managed to say something completely different.  Sometimes I really wonder about myself.

Aye, when I get deja vu it's usually 'I've heard this said AND seen this done before  ' but I've never managed to have the outcome end up different from the way I've...'seen' it happen before.

This happens to me really often. I'll be with a group of people and be discussing something, and I'll think "Waaaaiiit... hasn't this happened before?" Or get a lecture in class, or see a post on Facebook... it happens to me a lot. Oo; Almost more than just a weekly basis. |

There were actually instances where I've experienced deja vu in which all respects events seemed to be directly copied. This happened in sixth grade. At the same time for awhile I would be walking on the second floor hallway and the same kid would be at his locker and would ask me for a pencil. Same positioning, same tone of voice, same time and I'd always be at the same spatial area. Drove me mad for awhile because I thought I was in some sort of a time loop. |

This always happens. I'll have dreams where a certain event happens, and then maybe a week later it happens. I've dreamed about people I've never seen before, then have seen them on the street or in the hall and it freaks me out. |

Same here! Although not so much dreams. I'll give a fairly good example of this deja vu thing: Once I was doing some homework in the school library, and I didn't finish it in time before the lesson. I wrote quickly then was in the middle of a word when I reached the side of the page. This triggered something where I'm sure I remembered some homework on the same thing where I couldn't fit a word on the page. But It was a start of topic homework, and I also remember one of my mates on the pc next to me playing some shitty maths game, which I know I saw for the first time then, but at the same time remember it. About the trigger thing, it's always a single scene where I see an exact thing that triggers it. It's so freaky. |

^ Same here with the trigger. It's all "precognitive" dreams for me though, it doesn't just happen. Sometimes now I try to remember my dreams and look for the event. |

I once had a short dream back when I was 6. I heard about Pokemon Green in real life, and in the dream there was a short cart similar to a GBA game with the same green color as Leaf Green. It was labeled "Pokemon: Leaf Green version" It was strange, and there are many weird explanations for this. Another strange Deja Vu moment was at a party for my friend who was moving away. (OUT WITH A BANG, BEHBEH!!) One of his friends was a younger girl who I didn't really talk to but could swear I had seen her before. I later learned that I had seen her commonly when I was 3 years old, whereas she was almost a baby at the time. By all logic, this familiarity shouldn't exist, but life is weird so I'll deal with it. (I didn't really notice it until a week later, because by then 6 of my friends had moved away in a two-year span) |

Most of my Deja Vu's are like people describe them, but the creepiest episode is maybe that I had a dream where I was sitting in a chair in a particular position, I don't usually sit like that, I was in a room I've never seen and I was eating some candy that was on a table. I remember picking up a candy crocodile thing and looked at it closly before eating it. A few months later or something, I'm in a birthday party at a friends house (never been there before the birthday) then I sit down in a chair and eats candy, exactly the same way as in the dream. And when I look at the crocodile in my hand I suddenly recognize the room and situation. I was creepy, but I love getting Deja Vu's cause it's so awesome and creepy at the same time xD |
