Pepsi for me. It tastes better (yes, I can tell the difference), it never contained cocaine or claimed to be a medicine, and I like the company, which also makes Mountain Dew and Lays chips.

I personally prefer both, really. I enjoy them both as much, although Pepsi's sweetness is sometimes too much and heavy when you're having a meal such as pizza or so. But I really could care less which one I'm drinking, since they both taste good.
So it's a tie for me.

DR PEPPER!

But if I have a choice between the two, I always pick Coke. It tastes slightly better to me. But I'm never too bothered if Pepsi is the only choice at a restaurant.

Did you know that sodas taste different between countries? When I studied abroad in England, I couldn't stand their version of Dr Pepper. It tasted like cough syrup. I actually liked their version of Pepsi better. The first thing I did when I got home to America was drink our version of Dr Pepper...the RIGHT one. Well, at least for me.

Er, that's where you're wrong. Completely wrong, in fact. It was originally sold flat as a cure for headaches in the late 19th and early 20th century, and contained a tiny amount of cocaine until it was made illegal in 1986 or whenever it was. I still much prefer it to Pepsi, though. But the ULTIMATE carbonated soft drink for me, is DR. PEPPER. It's awesome and I'm addicted.

Um, Pepsi was made after cocaine was shown to not be the best thing to give your kids for their depression. I'm not sure where you got led wrong by my post, but I was talking about Pepsi, not Coke. Pepsi never contained cocaine. However, yes, I was wrong about it never claiming to be a medicine (but it was for stomacheaches, not a "miracle cure" like Coke was meant to be).

I couldn't tell the difference when I was little. XD

Now, I can someties sense it since Pepsi is sweeter. But to be honest, either is fine. I take whichever I'm given. My fave carbonated drink is Sprite, so it matters to me if one's talking Pepsi or Coke. If it's not Srpite, it matters the same.

I've never bought Coke and I don't support them in anyway. Since they steal water from poor villages, and even worse destroy them. D:

I like both and they both taste the same to me. I'd drink whatever was available.

I don't drink soda much anymore because it's bad. Usually I drink clear sodas now if I have no other alternatives (AKA Sprite, Sierra Mist, etc.) and treat myself to a cream soda/root beer on very rare occasions.

They taste exactly the same to me, besides, root beer is better.

Also, just because the ingredient in Cola-Cola comes from the same plant as cocaine doesn't mean it has cocaine in it.

Also, just because the ingredient in Coca-Cola comes from the same plant as cocaine doesn't mean it has cocaine in it.
As far as I've heard from various Coke (soda) documentaries, the Coca leaf does indeed contain cocaine. The creatore of coke purposely used the leaf because its effects perked the user up; subsequently, it also caused addiction.
Coca-cola does not use the ingredient anmore, but at one time the soda did contain cocaine.

Wiki

Coca — cocaine
Pemberton called for five ounces of coca leaf per gallon of syrup, a significant dose; in 1891, Candler claimed his formula (altered extensively from Pemberton's original) contained only a tenth of this amount. Coca-Cola did once contain an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per glass, but in 1903 it was removed.[28] Coca-Cola still contains coca flavoring.

After 1904, instead of using fresh leaves, Coca-Cola started using "spent" leaves—the leftovers of the cocaine-extraction process with cocaine trace levels left over at a molecular level.[29] To this day, Coca-Cola uses as an ingredient a cocaine-free coca leaf extract prepared at a Stepan Company plant in Maywood, New Jersey.

In the United States, Stepan Company is the only manufacturing plant authorized by the Federal Government to import and process the coca plant,[30] which it obtains mainly from Peru and, to a lesser extent, Bolivia. Besides producing the coca flavoring agent for Coca-Cola, Stepan Company extracts cocaine from the coca leaves, which it sells to Mallinckrodt, a St. Louis, Missouri pharmaceutical manufacturer that is the only company in the United States licensed to purify cocaine for medicinal use.[31] Stepan Company buys about 100 metric tons of dried Peruvian coca leaves each year, according to Marco Castillo, spokesman for Peru's state-owned National Coca Co.[32]
