Long, frequent posts, heavy gas effects, losing and gaining weapons, explosions, close-quarters combat... oh, I�m feeing faint. Quick, mark the match before I pass out! Blader Fair Play: 10/10 - Lady bloody Fury, I�m surprised Blader didn�t bleed out by the time Bowie stopped this match. O_O Lots of injuries, noticeably affected play style... heck, you even hit yourself with your own attacks on at least two occasions, and your increasing lack of weaponry was even better. Grammar: 10/10 - Couple of typos, mostly in the first few posts, but flawless otherwise. Adaptation to Environment: 10/10 - Definitely made mention of the gas�s effects and the obscured vision (though towards the end I think the crazy lights were more of an issue when it came to eyesight ). You effectively blinded yourself with that, which was perhaps a bit too much, but hey, effects are different for everyone I guess. Entertainment: 9/10 - Blader must swear twice as often as Akodas, and I really mean that. Yeah, it shows character and I will NOT deny that, but it felt like every second word would give my grandmother a heart attack, so it both gave and detracted from your posts (because �fudge fck fudge fck� gets boring after a while). Strong characterisation in terms of attitude and craziness (and in a tournament like this, who DOESN�T like a dehinged character?). Resorting to fighting with your belt was a nice touch, and your psychological tactics were... let�s settle with interesting. Wasn�t awfully hooked in by your writing style though, I�m afraid. Blaire Fair Play: 9/10 - You took a good few hits, mostly scratches, though that last bullet going straight through your shoulder was a doozy. If that had gone on for a post longer, that definitely would have been detrimental. Grammar: 9/10 - Like Blader, you made some typos, mostly in the first few posts, but what pulled that last point was that occasionally (but not always), you neglected to start a new line when someone spoke. Again, this seemed to vanish quickly once the fight got underway, but it still stuck out pretty badly. Adaptation to Environment: 10/10 - Whooooa. O_O I don�t think either Bowie or I expected the gas to be THAT trippy. Top marks for the eye-melting descriptions. Another thing I liked was that you described the effects at a gradually increasing rate; I didn�t even realise what you were going on about at first �til things started getting REALLY weird. Entertainment: 10/10 - AAAAAAAAA! THE METAPHORS! SO MANY METAPHORS! It would have been a nice technique, but you kinda overdid it a lil� bit with all the �as x as a y� and �like an x doing y� every couple of paragraphs. However, you do have a knack for description and some rather uncommon words (like �strident�, �miasma� and �inclusive�) had me clapping my hands for joy, because variety is the spice of life so they say, and no-one likes reading the same sorts of things over and over again. Excellent showing of character, some nice interior monologues and mental imagery (scrolling words reminded me of Star Wars, huh...). This match was EPIC, a real clashing of... er... demi-titans I suppose. ^_^;; In any case, only one may stand, so we�d best get down to the scores. Blader � 39 Blaire � 38 Blader�s hanging just in front, but it could still go either way. It�s gonna come down to Bowie�s decision here. Good luck to the both of you!

You took some serious beating. Props. \|D Grammar: 8/10 - Particularly in post 29 (but riddled around most of your posts), you missed a lot of instances where commas should have been inserted.. Unable to compete with the force of the projectile, the blade... Despite being an amateur at best, Blader could There were at least 4-5 in quick succession and, being a stickler at this sort of thing, I couldn't grant you a perfect 10 for so many instances of the same mistake in one area and beyond. Adaptation to Environment: 9/10 - Your adaptation was great.. but two things hold you back 1) its a really tight race and my judging is essentially the deciding factor.. I felt that Blaire's interpretations of the gas and environment were the best of the round therefore I'm compelled to give her the edge and 2) with the minor judge intervention there was absolutely no indication that Sadistic ever spoke up.. It was more of an experemental test but I proved a point, that unless adressed directly, participants tend to completely ignore or look over certain developing aspects. Entertainment: 10/10 - You and Blaire combined for the best match of the round, the overall attention to detail, thoughts, e.t.c. blah blah... It was all done extremely well considering the gas was little more than an afterthought to most but played a prominent role in your work. Blader constantly fighting with himself in thought and plagued by injury led to a very impressive performance. 37/40 Blaire Fair Play: 9/10 - This is another one of those close call judgings.. You played fair enough to earn the 10 but I feel so sorry for Blader that I have to give him the edge after a beating like that. You didn't god anything or force things unbelievably.. solid work. Grammar: 10/10 - discomfiture... miasma.. desultory... What is it with all the advanced words, do you like making my job hard.. ;.; Nah I'm joking, I appreciate the use of some more unorthodox, higher level words to help spice up the read. As for the "not making a new line when someone speaks" issue that arose in the prior judgement.. I really don't find that a grammatical error.. more a style choice, furthermore I don't see the misspelling in the earlier entries, either I'm missing something or... I dunno.. But what I can say is that I've given 10's before to people with more errors (not many, granted) but I sincerely can't find the problems mentioned by TUC more than he can find missing commas abound by Blader. Adaptation to Environment: 10/10 - As I said, the best adaptation of the round.. if you were against anyone else in this round you would have easilly passed them by... luckilly for entertainment's sake.. you got the toughest adaptation opponent of the round and that, more likely than not, inspired you to go above and beyond to stay one step ahead in this category. Entertainment: 10/10 - You, like Blader, had a lot going on and really capitalized off of eachothers posts. The nice outside-the-box interperetation of the gas was nice and I really liked that you used the word miasma, just one of the little things that's always nice to see. Blader � 37+39= 76 Blaire � 39+38= 77 The slimmest of margins again in one of the closest matches of the tournament and definately one of the most exiting I've seen, strong work from both of you and definately a sign of good things going forward. Unless there is any major opposition I declare Blaire the victor based on total score and I will await your decision on whether to write an end post or having us do the dirty work. Blaire may return to the Cafeteria and Blader will be sent to the void which, pending any more "busy/inconvienient" issues on my part, should see an increased role as of Round 3. Sorry for the judging delay. Winner - Blaire

Gas began to pour out in excess, levels rising, choking the air shrouding the trapped combatants in a thick green smog of hallucinogenic death. Snap In a frenzy the gas began to sink quickly eventually revealing a completely empty arena.. no Blaire or Blader to be found. Sadistic said nothing as to his decision leaving the demonic crowd scratching their heads. Where were they? Who won? Did they both lose? Of course he knew, he had already sent both battlers to their respective areas before the crowd even knew what was going on. Presto Change-O... They're gone!
