You will have 2 weeks to compete however a generous gap of 1 week is allowed for a non posting period... if either competitor takes longer than 1 week to make a reply then their characters fate is instantly handed to their opponent and/or the judges and they will be declared the loser. Begin with posts of your characters regaining consciousness and realizing that they are back in their natural bodies and retain all memories from the cafeteria. P.S. You awake to the sound of gears and cheering again. A machine hums to life as you see the rusty red steel wall rise, at it's peak you hear a click, ensuring you are trapped inside. The lower two stories are composed of what appears to be thick, yet poorly maintained glass.. so the audience can get their views in. More clicks and locking can be heard as the crowds booms become more loud. "..AND THE SPOUTS ARE HOOKED IN.. LETS TIP THEM OVER AND POUR THEM OUT!!" Sadistic's all too familiar voice echoed through the battle "tank". From what you could gather as full consciousness and alertness began to return to you, you seemed to be near the center of the sizable fighting area.. maybe you could use the walls to your advantage... that's about the only upside, at least there's no bottomless pit this time. With a mighty steam-like spew you realize the two openings in your line of sight, far atop the battleground's floor, had begun to trickle out something rancid and green.. the gas. You's heard Timotheus vaguely describe it and that alone was enough to stay far away from it as much as possible. The volume being released was rising steadily and the gathering gas on the grated ground was already beginning to roll slowly to the middle, no more time to keep laying here, you gotta eye your opponent and look to win this quick before the gas can majorly harm you (or you both, if you're looking to try and save your opponent). The crowds cheers boomed to new decibels, the time to think about the arena was over.. the time to fight is now. Define arena Cy-Fox thought as he emerged into Brain Bonk Zone. The flesh around his damaged eye was partially regrown while he was knocked out into the Cafeteria, but he felt a little bit off-center as far as stamina went, but one didn't have to be awake to fight when they were a cyborg. If needed, he'd let the computer fight for him. There was still the gas. He found that he had his helmet in hand, raised it up over his head and jammed it on, forming a seal with his neck armor. A cluster of nanites swarmed to form a mask to cover his muzzle, and oxygen from the reserve tanks built into his armor started to kick in. A high amount of saturation, but not too much as it was proven that extreme amounts of oxygen can kill and blind you. Speaking of blind, the smoke was making it hard to see. The headlamp came on, but it didn't probe the fog well. Thermographic mode was appropriate. The world then turned dark blue and Miles withdrew his Leo Social, checking to see that it was loaded.

One moment he was running along the wall, aimming for his target and soon leaped off the wall with the readiness to attack. Then, a strong gust of wind jerked his body, following after that was a hard hit to his head that managed to knock him out. Not only did it knock him out, it also tossed him half way across the cafeteria, far enough to not be drawn in by the might winds of the twister. Funny thing about tornadoes and twisters, its not all the time that they suck up things, they also can launch and even rocket out things they picked. In this case, it did launch out something, which smacked into Entek before he could even get close to his target. However, a familiar feeling was brought to his body, a feeling he remembered thanks to the group of soul reapers he came to know. The feeling of being brought back into body, the same feeling you get when you exit the soul society if you weren't a soul reaper. This feeling was what woke Entek up, making him groan lightly as his head still throb, though the rest of him was okay. His eyes opened as he heard the wild cheering and soon sat up. "Gas?" He questioned in his mind. "Hmp... The thought that soul reapers are behind this whole thing still remains as my theory... Only soul reapers would really want to kill us earth walkers." He spoke to himself. He soon got up and dusted himself off, however a quick throb pounded his head, making him wince as a reminder that he was hit on the head. Though he had sometime to recover from the hit in the cafeteria, it still wasn't long enough to fully recover from a hit like that to the head. After taking in the pain as he held his head he began to growl in anger. "Damn you Kane." He utters as fire flared up within his eyes. "I may not be Kiyel, but I am his best friend... Was for that matter. And if I'm the reason he isn't alive anymore, then I'll carry that on me for the rest of my life. He was dead anyways" He tells himself as he narrowed his eyes. "So, they poured in gas huh... Heh, I wounder if its flammable... What the hell am I talking about, isn't all gas flammable." He grins a bit as he thought of setting this whole place on fire by using the gas as a means of doing so. "But if I do that, it'll just be a contest between me and tin man to see who can stand the heat. I'd win of course... Then again, my powers aren't as strong as they use to be, I don't know how long I can wrap my body with fire for. It might snuff out as soon as I do it, or I could stay like that forever, which would drain most of my fire out and I'd have nothing but my katanas to use for the next match..." He starts to think as he looked around himself, thinking of what could happen and what would be to the downfall of each choice. "Heh, I'll hold off for now. If I need to, or this guy starts to piss me off, I'll set the gas on fire and watch that fur of his burn clean off... But what about the metal... Damn! I didn't think about that. Me and him could be fighting in the fire the whole while time... I wonder if he always has heat seeking eyes on, that would be a plus if I did this." Entek soon realized that he was thinking about this too much and shook his head with a small smirk, as if making fun of himself for talking to himself for that long. "Heh, its whatever. I'll just wing!" He shouts as he pulled out his two katanas and soon dashes to his right, setting his eyes on his foe and ready to fight this cyborg, and possibly kill him.

Oxygen saturation from the reserves was almost complete, and when it was, he would be on a good footing. Miles unlatched a suppressor from his Leo Social and screwed it onto the barrel until it was locked in, and changed the position of the fire-selection switch to burst mode. He then lowered himself into a crouch and started his approach towards Entek.

Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	His eyes focused on his foe, watching him crouch and proceed to move towards him, which wouldn't help any since Entek was already moving. His eyes flared with fire within them as his cocky grin was displayed upon his face. Closer and closer he got, only to leap into the air just above the gas like fog and place his two katana's in a cross like place. However, nothing happened. They didn't shoot out a flame like cross upon his target, nor did they even become wrapped with fire. This little set back caused Entek it look confused as he dropped back to the ground, closer to his enemy then before of course. "What the hell?" He questioned as he looked upon his weapons in shock and confusion. "Don't tell me..." He tells himself as he looks around once again. "Damn it!!" He shout with anger. "I can't use my damn fire attacks because of this gas!!... I knew I felt hotter then I normally do. I subconsciously layered my body with a thin layer of heat... Heh, I'm actually burning the damn gas before I even breath it in. Which would explain why I didn't even jump that high." He tightens his fist at this realization, only to become more angered and gathering more will power to end his foe. "Fine... I'll have to see if my blades can cut through tin man then." He suddenly drops to floor, laying underneath the foggy gas, hidden from his foe completely. However, he isn't completely hidden, those with keen eye sight would see the clear steam rising from his position, as well those with heat seeking eye sight of course.

Inhaling a burst of clean air, he pressed the stock of his suppressed sub-machinegun against his shoulder. A targeting reticule appeared on his HUD, over Entek's thermal imprint. The sensory data provided was converted into instructions that would correct the way he carried his weapon, in order to get a good sight picture. This only took around one and a half second. In the next two, a three round burst was headed for the fire type.

However, that second seemed like a long minute as he lay there. It wasn't until he heard the sound of the cyborg's gun off in the distance that caused him to throw his arms over his head and plant his face into the ground. This only protected his face as most of the bullets missed him. However, one did take a huge chunk of his his skin and fur off, causing him to grunt with pain as his eyes lite up with more raging fire. "Damn it! I'm not the hiding type!... I swear if that robo freak lands another hit on me I'm going to turn that piece of junk into a damn battery." He mutters to himself as he got into a low crouching position, almost on his hands and knees. He suddenly sprints towards the cyborg, but bot being so reckless as to gun straight for him. Instead, he ran in a curved pattern, knowing it would be harder for the cyborg to follow him if he wasn't running dead on. Though running like this would take longer for him to get in close combat with his foe, it was less dangerous. At this point Entek began to twirl his katana's in each hand. Doing this provided a bit of cover, kicking up the foggy gas as he ran from the wind speed of his katana's twirling in his hands. Even if the cyborg did manage to shoot him, it wouldn't make such a serious wound, like the one on his right arm that was leaving a trail of blood as he ran.

He then unclenched his left hand and flipped the fire selection switch to full automatic, and then squeezed his left hand into a fist again. Holding his left arm out, he rotated in the direction Entek was curving. Ghost-images of Entek appeared on his HUD, both in front of and behind him as his trajectory was being estimated. He decided to try to head him off by firing in "front" of him.

As he drew closer he saw something that looked to be attached to the cyborg's left hand. By now his pace slowed down since he wasn't really paying much attention, as well, he was nearing the side of the cyborg's side. Hearing the gun go off again the hedgehog quickly slammed his feet onto the ground as he stopped twirling his weapons and ducked down as he leaned forward, avoiding the shots fired while appearing to almost fall flat on his face. But suddenly he burst forward with a strong leap towards the left side of the fox. The leap wasn't intended to make him jump high, but rather to make him jump father, as to get closer towards his target. Now that he was in close range, Entek lashed out his right sword in a horizontal slash, aiming for his throat. He kept his other katana ready for whatever he would have to counter.

We are still watching Posts: 3,486 Group: =SB= Kings Member #3,975 Joined: November 29, 2007 Gender: Male Country: United States of America Steam ID: cy-fox	In a more primitive time, this would've been endgame, but Prower estimated that his 22nd century era armor would hold, that is if there weren't any 'magical' properties to associate with Entek's new attack. Summoning the rest of the nanocolony that wasn't being used to serve as his 'gas mask', he created the same nanowhip that allowed him to beat his previous opponent, going straight for the katanas. He also pointed his left arm and his submachine gun at Entek's center mass, firing the remainder of the magazine at full auto until he was alerted that it was empty. No time to reload, or to switch to his sidearm.

However, Entek had enough time to react as he sliced the nanowhips reaching for his second katana, as it was farther back and not as close to grab like the katana he used to attack. His eyes lite up as he saw the cyborg lift the gun up towards his torso. Seeing this caused an instant reaction to use his katana that was being held by the nanowhips as a means to help him flip over the cyborg as cyborg fired his weapon. Entek quickly lets go of his katana that was being held by his opponent and lands behind the cyborg as his knees bent a little. Back to back the two of them were for a split second, until Entek spun around and swung hard with his left katana, mentally aiming for where his neck would be, but with the speed and the amount of force he put into his swing, it would be hard to tell where his kanatan would hit the cyborg if it indeed hit. As Entek preformed this, he ignored the sharp pain he felt in his left leg. He felt it when he landed behind the fox, which could only mean he didn't dodge all the bullets like he'd hoped. When he swung his sword he couldn't feel much pain as his adrenaline was pumping, which was bad for the fact that he didn't know if it was just one bullet that caught his leg, or more then one.

The carbon fiber that formed the main layer of his armor however was not pierced. He threw aside his empty Leo Social, reached behind his back and grabbed his M9-212. He turned to thrust the gun right in Entek's face. "How do you want to leave this?" he asked. "Your attempts to stab me have only ended in injury to you and I unlike our bloodthirsty possum compatriot, do not take pleasure from killing."

Seeing the fresh blood red liquid ooze from his foe's ear forced the smirk to grow more. However, his smirk quickly turned into a frown as he looked at the cyborgs neck. There was no blood. Entek went into a small state of shock at this point, missing the part where the fox tossed his weapon aside and pulled out another gun. He was brought back to reality as he felt a hard knock on his head. This not only got him out of his state of shock, but brought back the throbbing headache as he winced in pain, more so then when he got shot. Grinding his teeth in pain and furry, he failed to listen to the words spoken by the fox, but he did manage to catch the last few words. "...ended in injury to you and I unlike our bloodthirsty possum compatriot, do not take pleasure from killing" After hearing this Entek flung open his eyes, which now looked like nothing but fire within his eye sockets. A sudden large burst of fire roars out from his entire body, engulfing himself and as well the fox if he didn't move by now, but only for moment would the fox be danger of the flames as the burst knocked Entek backwards and to the ground. This burst of fire quickly wraps around his entire body which formed that fire like fur on him, but it also ignited the gas all around them, causing the entire arena to be filled with fire. Where ever there was gas, was now fire. Entek was now lost within the fire as he laid on the ground, making it unclear if he was knocked out completing or was simply just shoved to the ground and about to get up.

If it saw a threat, it terminated that threat. The cyborg advanced forward, gun in hand and primed.

While thinking this Entek was in a squatting position as he eyed the cyborg moving his way. He didn't though, he simply waited for the cyborg to approach him. He waited until he thought it was close enough, then set his plan into motion. His katana, his only katana as his other one was taken from him, was still within his grasp. He slowly reached back with arm, grasping the katana firmly, and suddenly released it like a sling shot. He zoomed towards the cyborg, spinning rapidly like a flaming, razor sharp, boomerang like dish. His aim wasn't towards the cyborg, in fact he didn't intend to hit the cyborg but to simply distract him. The flaming blade whirled with force and speed as it traveled towards the right should of the cyborg, however it would miss without the cyborg even moving an inch. Clearly the cyborg would see it coming, but what it wouldn't see would be Entek, who burst forward only a few seconds after he launched his flaming blade. He sped towards the cyborg and leaped towards him with an out stretched arm, reaching for the cyborg's face as a means to grip his face with his right hand, hoping that his distraction gave him enough time to do so.
