The rat, Lamoon, watched a group of children play underneath a large tree. Leaning against the bench Lamoon sat on was a blue and black hover cycle with a streamlined design. "Ahh." he sighed. "What a beautiful day." (Hope that's alright.)

It's good! :3 )) In the city of Metal City, a purple hedgehog was sitting down on a bench and was relaxing the day way. She was wearing a purple shirt with a small purple jacket, black pants, purple shoes with a white stripe, and her powerful Star Necklace. Her name was Starlight and she was watching the kids playing under the large tree in the park. She smiled brightly and looked up at the sky. "Today is a very great day. The sky is bright, the sun is shinning, and everything is going so well!" she said.

Using a napkin, he wiped the crumbs from the pizza off of his red jacket and his black pants. Standing, Lamoon stood his hover cycle up and swung one leg over it. After turning it on, he looked at the helmet and decided not to wear it, instead putting it in a small compartment. He drove the bike onto the road and turned around. As he drove, he passed a purple hedgehog on a bench watching the kids play. Lamoon smiled and increased his speed, making a sharp turn towards his home.

Then she saw a rat drove by in his hover cycle. He went by a bit fast and Starlight didn't notcie it a little. "Wow! That went fast!" she said, "I don't think i've seen him before either..." Then she got off the bench and started to run towards him.

Taking out a key, he unlocked the door and stepped inside briefly. Several minutes later he comes out with a bottle and a bottle opener. Popping the bottlecap off, he lifted it to his lips and took a short drink. As he drank, he sat down on the staircase. As he sat, he watched the people go by. Noticing a person looking at him, he pulled his jacket closed so that several odd, orange tattoos were hidden from sight. He did the same with his hair, moving it to cover the corners of his eyes.

The floors were made of a dark, smooth wood, and paper sliding doors provided entry to other rooms. A large collection of ancient weapons and tools was inside several large glass cabinets, with cards explaining their uses. Hung carefully on a display was a suit of leather armour with metal shoulders and a steel helm with a cloth mask. Inside the shoulders and helm were small rubies, and attached to either side of the armour were two green swords with hilts reminiscent of a writhing flame. Sliding a door to the side, Lamoon led Starlight into a much more modern room, a large t.v, a couch, and two bookcases in one corner. A kitchen was next to this room.

"Thanks." he said as he opened a cabinet. He took out a pan and put several rolls on it, sprinkling something on them and dabbing a few drops of honey on them. "You'd be amazed what you can afford by doing a few favors." he told her as he turned on the oven. Coming into the room, Lamoon sat on the opposite side of the couch as Starlight. He sat there quietly for several minutes, but then he heard the door open. "Oh, my roommate's here." he said. "I share this place with my best friend Desun. He kinda comes and goes, I don't think he's ever slept in his own bed."

"Yeah, he's just the wandering type. I think the only reason he stays here is to have somewhere to stow his stuff and get free food." he said. Hearing the rat's laugh, Desun walked in. The tall orange hedgehog had pale grey skin and wore a long coat with a vest underneath and pants. "Hey Lamo-" he began before seeing Starlight. "Are you going to introduce me to your friend?" he motioned with his hand. His only hand. Desun's right arm was missing, though the coat covered the stump. Lamoon nodded. "Desun, this is Starlight." he said. "Starlight, this is Desun." "Hi there!" said Desun, extending his hand to shake.
