Richard suddenly shoved open the door.
"I will." He said, cheerfully.
The Scribe and the Sentinel groaned, Lyons just gave a weak smirk.
"How much did you hear?" Lyons asked.
"Enough." Was the response. "I'd be HAPPY to assist..."
"...For a fee." Finished Sarah and Rothchild in a sarcastic tone.
"You know me so well. I'm flattered, really." Richard said. "Anyways, yes, they're right. Besides, think of it this way. My men are the best of the best. Sending us would save you soldiers. Why waste all those men on one assault when you can send four guys?"
"Well, you do make a good argument." Lyons said, shaking his head. "I suppose. You have proven yourselves competant in the past."
"Damn straight." Richard nodded. "We're already ready to leave. Whaddya say?"
"You have a deal."
"Good. C'mon Prower, or we're leavin' without ya." With that, he was gone.
"That boy." Rothchild muttered. "One of these days, he'll cross the wrong person."

"If he becomes a liability I will not have any difficulty terminating him," Miles said in his guttural Liberty Prime-like voice. He then raised his rifle and marched after the mercenaries.

Rothchild stared after Prower for a few moments. Once he was out of hearing range, he muttered, "That, ironically, worries me even MORE."

In the Citadel Courtyard, the trio were loading supplies onto the ship, mostly Mini-Nukes that the Brotherhood had confiscated from the Enclave. They were loading them into the Vertibird's nuke launcher. After all, they were headed into hostile Enclave territory...You could never be too prepared.
"Alright." Rich said. "Virgil, status?"
"Nukes loaded." Virgil said. "Weapons repaired as best the Brotherhood could manage. The bird still has a decent fuel supply. I'd say we're prepped and ready to go."
"Good." Rich nodded. "They sendin' any help?"
"I questioned Paladin Tristan about that. They're sending an additional Bird loaded with four soldiers, but thats all the support we've got. Once we're there, we're officially on our own."
"So we're droppin' into heavily armed territory, with nothing but eight soldiers, two Vertibirds, maybe five nukes, and no backup at all, or help if we're injured?" Rich asked.
Virgil nodded.
"I like those odds." Grinned the merc leader, hopping into the bird.

"One exceptional soldier I should say," Miles said as his hearing range was extended. He jumped into the Vertibird.

An hour or so later, the two Vertibirds, one bearing the BoS faction symbol, the other bearing the TRG symbol, zipped through the sky, over the settlement of Canterbury Commons. Barely visible below were citizens, who stared upward nervously, unable to know that these Vertibirds were not ENCLAVE birds.
"Alright," Ignatio said, "Am I right in assuming that THAT is the Enclave's new base?"
Rich got out of his seat and peered out the window. Before them was a large complex...About the size of the Sattelite relay station, but it was surrounded by energy barriers, and multiple turrets, which swiveled around and aimed at the birds.
"Virg?" Rich glanced back at the tesla-armored soldier.
Virgil nodded briefly, and pressed a few buttons on the controls. The bottom of the bird wrenched open.
"Fire payload." Richard stated, grinning wickedly. "Blast 'em to Hell."
Virgil pulled a lever.
A single nuke dropped out of the bottom of the bird(from a distance, it looked humorously like a pidgeon taking a...well, you know) and flew downward, towards the sheild generator...guarded by a couple Hellfire troopers.

They looked up as the nuke dropped, exchanged glances, looked up one more time, and didn't even have time to scream as the mushroom cloud enveloped them, killing them instantly and shutting off the sheilds.
"Say hello to Satan for me, ya b*stards!" Laughed Richard. "Alright Ignatio, take this bird around a few more times. Virg, keep firing."
They circled the base twice more, dropping the nukes into crowds of soldiers that were flooding out of the base. Eventually, they ran out of nukes, but by then the number of corpses greatly outnumbered the living soldiers.
The BoS Vertibird opened fire on the remaining soldiers with its gatling laser, while the Merc bird landed in front of the base.
"Okay boys, here's the story." Rich said, loading his assault rifle. "We're here to drink coffee and eat doughnuts. But the Enclave took 'em all. So now, we're gonna kick their asses. You ready?"
Virgil hefted his gatling laser, his way of saying 'Hell yeah'.
Ignatio grinned, and gave a thumbs up.
"Alright then." Rich said, sticking a cigarette in his mouth. "Then lets do this."
He kicked the door open and leapt out.

Miles shouldered his weapon and filed out of the mercenary Vertibird, checking around for any kind of threat. In the distance, a lone Enclave soldier was running towards the landing zone. He entered his targeting mode, took a snapshot of the incoming Enclave punk, calculated the necessary equations and ratios and targeted the soldier's center mass. Before he could take another step forward, he became a white hot flash and then ash.

"Nice shot." Whistled Ignatio.
"No time for admiring our work," Richard said, "We gotta move. There's no TELLING how many troops they've got, or if they've got any Vertibirds. We've got to get in and out ASAP."
"Roger." Virgil said.
"Okay. Virgil, you take the front. I'll be center, and Ignatio, you hang back." Richard ordered. He turned to Miles. "And you, I may be in charge of my own men, but you're not one of mine. You go do whatever you want, as long as it doesn't get in my way. Alright boys, GO!"
He and his teammates made a break for the building, just as the BoS Vertibird landed, the troops climbing out.

Prower wheeled around and thrust his rifle towards the complex. "All troopers, form up on me."

Richard was now standing in front of the door, tapping on a keyboard, attempting to hack the door controls, so he could get in. At the moment, the door was so sturdy nothing short of hacking...or a fat man...would open it.
"Damn!" He said when the computer locked him out. "Now what?"
"Lemme get it." Virgil said. He leaned over the computer...then smashed it repeatedly with his gatling laser, until it sparked and died.
There was a CLUNK, and Rich found he could open the door.
"Nice." He grinned. "Alright guys, lets go." They ran in and opened fire on several Enclave scientists, who looked surprised to see them.
Within seconds they were dead, the trio of Mercs having dissapeared into the base.
