High Ground threat rating minimized the fox decided. They decided to target the mutants first, instead of him. He pressed the stock of the laser rifle against his shoulder and engaged his V.A.T.S 2.0 system.

[-Super Mutant-]
[-]----------[-]
-Head: 92%
-Torso: 100%
-Left Arm: 88%
-Right Arm: 88%
-Left Leg: 95%
-Right Leg: 95%

Not one to waste ammunition, he went for the first one's head. The Super Mutant flailed his arms, ready to pounce onto this strange humanoid. The next thing it knew, it was on the ground with white powdery ash seeping into his open neck.

Suddenly, a window on the third floor of the building on which the Vertibird was parked exploded in a sudden shower of glass, as a figure clad in black and gold power armor, a T-51b helmet atop his head, swung out on a rope, holding it with one hand. In the other hand was an assualt rifle, which he fired at the mutants below, who, surprised, were staring. Several of them died before they realized they should move, and they opened fire. The man in the armor slid down the rope and landed with a dull 'clank' on the pavement. He dodgerolled behind a wrecked car, leaning out to shoot another Mutie in the stomach.
A man clad in Tesla Armor stood in the shattered window, raining a hellfire of laser down below with his gatling laser.

Cy-Fox continued to engage mutants even as the squad jumped down. Soon all mutants were pacified, and only when a sweep yielded no mutants in the immediate area did he lower his weapon. He turned to face the man clad in gold and black power armor. For the first time they'd see him for what he was.

Richard grinned beneath his helmet. Nothing like a good old shootout to get the blood pumpin'.
He turned to face the sole survivor of the crash, saying, "You alright there, soldie-"
He then saw who he was talking too, and blinked.
"You don't look like any Brotherhood Knight I'VE ever seen." He said.
He turned and waved at his men. They both nodded, Ignatio dissapearing from the edge of the roof, and Virgil sliding down the rope.

"I happen to be a Paladin" Cy-Fox replied, raising his armored left arm up and out, offering his hand. "Vault Zero, Cheyenne Mountain Colorado, formerly North American Aerospace Defense Command headquarters before the War,"

"...Right." Richard said, taking the Fox's hand and shaking it. "Name's Rich. Sorry 'bout your pilot and bird, both of which don't look to be in good shape. We just stole this thing," He pointed at the parked Vertibird, "Off an Enclave squad. Its harder to fly than it looks- or so I've been TOLD." He snorted.
Ignatio, who was climbing down the rope, yelled, "I HEARD THAT."
Virgil sighed and tried to look like he wasn't there.
"Those are my men, Virgil; Heavy Weapons,"
Virgil gave a brisk nod, and started to check to see if his laser was still intact from the firefight.
"And Ignatio, sniper."
Ignatio waved, sniper rifle in one hand, as he walked towards them.
"What're you doing out here in the Wasteland?" Inquired Rich. "Quite a trek from Colorado."

"I have been sent to reinforce the Lyon's Pride," he replied. He then bowed his head slightly. "As for my name, I am William Miles Prower, but you can call me either Tails or Cy-Fox,"

"A'right." Richard said. "I take it, Cy, that you'll be wanting to head to the Citadel. I'm also going to guess that you probably don't know where it is. So, I suppose we could take you in our Bird, PROVIDED WE DON'T CRASH IT."
"Oh, shut up." Ignatio said, facepalming. "Jackass."
"S'not that far off," Rich began again, shrugging, "But it'll be quicker on the bird. You want a ride or what, we can't stick around all day."

"Sure," the cyborg replied and looked up to the Vertibird

A short time later, they landed in the center of the Citadel, Knights, Paladins, and Initiates staring quizically at the strange, non-BoS Vertibird in their midst.
The door slid open, and they raised their weapons-
And out stepped Richard.
A few hesitated, as if they wanted to shoot him anyway, and then reluctantly holstered their weapons. A few shot him some glares, others blank stares. It was clear that, even though he wasn't well liked, they knew him and wouldn't fire on him.
"So nice to see such a cheerful face." He said to a glaring Knight.
The Knight raised his pistol, but a Paladin slapped him on the hand and shook his head. The Knight stormed off.
The trio of Mercs hopped out, waiting for their 'guest' to introduce himself to the Brotherhood.

That was when Cy-Fox ambled out of the Vertibird, with his Laser Rifle held in both hands in a neutral skyward position. He stopped in front of Richard and waited.

"Hey, you, Paladin." Rich said, waving over the Paladin who had stopped the Knight from firing. "This fuzzball here says he was sent by some guys in Colorado."
The Paladin stared for a moment, then realized what he was saying.
"OH. You're Prower." The Paladin said. "My apologies, we were told you'd be arriving aboard one of OUR Vertibirds, with Knight Halsey..."
"Yeahhh, he had a bit of a...mishap." Richard said. "They crashed. Halsey's dead, this guy was lucky to get out alive. Luckily we were close by, so we gve him a lift in our new ride."
"Oh." The Paladin stated once again, looking a bit surprised. "Well, uh, you have our thanks."
"Would this thanks perchance involve caps?"
"...I'll discuss it with Elder Lyons."
"Good man."
"Now then, Prower, I'll take you to the Elder for debriefing..." The Paladin said, leading him off into the Citadel.
The trio exchanged glances.
"Long as we're here, wanna sell some of the junk we got off those Enclave guys?" Ignatio asked.
"Now you're thinking." Richard grinned, tapping his helmet.

The two Paladins proceeded into the reinforced Pentagon/Citadel. As they went through the underground, Miles noticed that several Knights and a Paladin were working to rebuild the Capital BoS' trump card, Liberty Prime. The fox cyborg bowed his head in respect as they passed it by. The Paladin escorting him looked at him strangely.

"Part of my systems were designed by the same group," he explained. "Thankfully however I wasn't programmed to spout propaganda,"

The Paladin grunted and led him to the chambers of Elder Lyons. Prower noticed Rothschild and the de facto leader of the Brotherhood unit, Sarah Lyons. He set his Laser Rifle against the doorway.

"Welcome, Paladin Prower." Lyons said. "We've heard much of you from our Brothers in the Midwest. I trust that they've kept you informed, because this debriefing will have to be...well, brief. Rothchild, if you will?"
Rothchild nodded, and pointed to a map on the table. It appeared to b a map of the Capital Wasteland, or at least as good a map as could be made.
"As you know, the Enclave have set up multiple bases of operations, across the Wasteland. They have been less than organized- but, even though these camps are a bit hastily built, Vertbirds still arrive periodically to both check up on the troops and resupply them, which indicated a level of organization. At first we thought it coincidental, but now, I've come to a conclusion; something, rather someONE, has reorganized them, as evidenced by several well thought out assaults on our forces. I have thought long and hard, researched what I could, even interrogated a few prisoners, and I have come to a conclusion.
As is written in the scrolls, before the bombs dropped, there was a President, who ruled the country. But by his side was a Vice President, to take his place should the President die. I think, gentlemen...and Sarah...that they have been reformed by a Vice President of the Enclave."
"This is most worrisome, Rothchild." Lyons said. "How can we be sure?"
"That, is where Prower and some of our men come in." Rothchild stated, pointing to an area on the map, which seemed to be a bit to the east of Canterbury Commons, almost off the map. "We have deduced, via intelligence gathered by stray Enclave communication frequencies, that they have a broadcast tower similar to the one we assaulted last time with Prime, right around this area. If so, it could contain vital intelligence. Therefore, my suggestion is that we assault it and extract what we need."
"Yes, yes. That sounds reasonable." Lyons nodded. "We'll send them out immediatly."
---

"Nice doing business with ya." Richard said as he walked out of the armory, holding a bag of caps. "Ah, nothing like the 'clink-clink' of a bag of money, eh boys?"
Virgil said nothing, Ignatio nodded.
"So, what do you suppose they're discussing?" Ignatio asked. "Must be something important."
"Yeah, maybe." Richard said, not in the least curious.
"And when the Brotherhood discusses something important," Ignatio persisted, "Usually that means they're going to mobilize."
"Uh...huh." Richard said, slowing, his curiosity beginning to perk.
"And when they mobilize, we offer our services, for money."
Rich stopped in his tracks, and Ignatio ran right into him, falling to the ground. Virgil shook his head and helped the sniper up.
"Get to the Vertibird, guys." Richard ordered, without even looking at them. He took off running. The Knights, Scribes, and Paladins stared as he dashed past. His two allies exchanged glances, then followed him.

Prower stood up and only took a few seconds to digest the information given. "Who will be going with me to this facility?" he asked.
