That picture, at least is fake.
It's not even a rumor, it's just wishful thinking by Xbox owners. Not that it would be bad, but it's not happening anytime soon. I could see Microsoft making a Zune that plays games though.
Where did the name 'Zune' come from? Also, I'm surprised that the DS has survived until late 2009, let alone beaten the PSP, I mean, the graphics aren't even PS1 quality, and the PS1 is 14 years old.
The Zune is multi-media devise which is apparently better then the Ipod, which I can believe, and probably cheaper, it's over-shadowed by the public's attitude on Ipods being pieces of heaven, when in reality it's basic functions with a small HD. But other then that, anything Sony makes in the multi-media section is better at least in my own opinion.

The graphic potential for the DS is higher then that of the Playstation. Obviously. I think I remember seeing a Playstation game ported to the Game Boy Advance, it was a revamp of Space Invaders. Both consoles used the same 2D graphics. Everything was the same.

Um... Space Invaders is just 2D and a remake of an Atari game. GBA can not handle PS1 graphics. Driver 2, Tony Hawk 2, etc were on both and the GBA couldn't compare.

That aside, I think the DS is just slightly lower or slightly above the N64 from what I remember.

Wouldn't if you were wanting to compare the DS's power to those other consoles, shouldn't you be comparing bit sizes? Since at that time, the bit wars were still going on, you know how many bits those consoles held.
I'm a gamer and always will be a gamer. If you don't believe me. I have 430 Video Games and 19 Consoles.

I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P

So, let's see if you can outdo "The Jet Gamer"

No because GBA and PS1 both had 32 bits, but the PS1 was graphically superior.

I'm not that much into handheld gaming. I just find console gaming much better. I have a ds lite, and I'm pretty sure it's slightly lower than N64 graphics.(Super Mario 64 DS comparison)

the reason the ds has survived is because:
1. Compatibility with the wii
2. Games that are fun (pokemon, spectrobes, disgaea, kh 358/2 days, twewy, and many more)
3. Portability
4. Dual screens allowing for more challenging gaming (twewy) and sometimes simple gaming (Brain Age) and both (Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword).

Back on topic: You can tell this is a fake. It is way to easy to make a fake using photoshop. Plus Microsoft would make a press release if it was real. Now if they do make a press release then maybe it would be cool. But it will be way behind in the handheld console war and we will have to wait for multiple games to be developed. I don't see any new consoles or handheld for a while considering that there usually is several years before a new generation of consoles and handhelds is released. This is just not happening anytime soon (at least for now anyways) but for those of you who want it just keep praying.
