For this of you not so lucky, here's the skinny on what I experienced: - Excellent character modeling - Smooth and fast-paced - Environment is the same, but looks sharper and more enhanced - Fast, flowing combos - Enemies have more health, allowing longer combo chains - Blood and gore is significantly reduced - Human enemies can no longer be decapitated, and there is no blood from limb loss, just a purple aura - Izuna Drop now has a cool camera zoom just as their heads splat. - New lock on feature with projectile weapons - Shuriken assigned to O, and other projectiles assigned to R2, allowing you to use the bow and shuriken at the same time without switching - Pressing R1 while standing still now shows you where you need to go. Otherwise it centers the camera Ryu: - Set in NG2's Chapter 1 - Noticeably similar storyline, bar certain exceptions. - Certain combos extended - Ryu now shouts while casting Ninpo - Enma's Fang, which is a copy of the Dabilahro from NG except more awesome, is now a weapon - Certain save points have shifted Ayane: - Set in a nighttime city, complete with market - Fighting style is similar to Ryu, if not more aggressive. - Ayane's shuriken serve as those of Ryu's exploding kunai, but unlimited. - Ninpo has a "get the fudge away from me unless you want to die" vibe - Extremely fast and powerful - Tecmo so does love their jiggle. :3 Team Missions: - 3 demo missions - Didn't get to play cooperatively, so I had A.I. - A.I. is highly intelligent, utilizing all of their attacks, weapons and items depending on the situation - Two players may use the same character - Costumes and equipment may be swapped, but only one for each slot - Comparison score gauge (whoever get more Karma) is used to determine MVP with a meter - Players can combine Ninpo attacks to devastate anything within range - Ryu outperforms Ayane any day. :3 Or maybe it's just me. - If you or your partner is downed, the other may "revive" them and restore them to maximum health up to the red line - Watching Dual Ryus cast magic and create a nuclear explosion was the highlight of my day. These are all the details I have to offer. Honestly, if you have a PS3, you MUST try this. Fan or not, this is an awesome game. Feel free to discuss the game.

In fact it has so much new content, bug fixes, etc that anyone who bought NG2 should probably invest in NGS2 anyway. It's also getting quite strong reviews.

Yet, that would also become expensive. I mean dozens with games to look out for, and the wallet screaming at you to spend on games you can't actually afford. It sounds like they hit the spike in the can this time though.
