As this all went on, Eggman laughed. "Well Prometheus, it seems your son and wife are safe for now." he told a purple hedgehog as he entered the security area. The hedgehog glared at him. "Consider yourself lucky to still be alive, you ghastly, disgraceful, pitiful excuse for a scientist. And my name is Mithos!" growled the hedgehog, adjusting his glasses. He looked at the android Ukota.
Eggman laughed and said, "Don't behave like this now my son," he began, Mithos cringing at the word 'son', "Be glad that I didn't kill her as soon as I found her!"

'Thank whatever higher being that she's safe,' Ukato thought, glad that Videl was saved. Though he was created by Eggman, the android wasn't just another heartless machine.
"We still need to destroy those F-series robots that Eggman created," Raikaiser said. "Right. You guys get out of here. Raikaiser and I can handle the rest ourselves," Vurado said with a confident smirk.

Mithos looked at Ukota. "So who's this?" he asked. Eggman laughed and said, "This is E Double Infinity, the pride of my work, and the most powerful of the E-series robots!" he gloated. Mithos continued to look at Ukota. "So he's your 'son' too?" he asked the doctor. Eggman smiled and said, "Yes. But unlike a certain purple hedgehog, he hasn't betrayed me!"
Mithos glared at him. Looking at Ukota, he walked over to him. "I know you're an android, but trust me: The sooner you sever your ties with this twisted maniac the better." he told the android, not caring that Eggman could obviously hear him. Eggman scowled and said, "If only you and your idiot of a brother Dusche's project had worked I wouldn't have needed Ukota!"
Mithos smiled. "Well look on the bright side: You've got the son you'd never be able to sire naturally as a result. That and the fact that my brother Dusk and I killed both Shadow and Sonic, you should be showering us with gifts." he said.
Artemis shook his head. "No, you can't. You clearly underestimate those robots. Two of them are not to be messed with. F-99 Iota and project Apollo aren't nearly as weak as the others. If you get reckless, Apollo could destroy you. Trust me, I know." he told the two.
(For the sake of the story, can we make it so that, up until this point, Ukota didn't know who'd killed Sonic and Shadow?)

(Actually, I thought over the story and had decided to rewright it. Eggman does have a clone, but he didn't create Mithos and Dusk. Eggman himself created them and, when he found no further use for them, attempted to despose of them by sending them to his clone, who (in my story) turns on Eggman after they get to him and helps them kill him, only to get rid of them by sending them to another planet with one of his machines. The planet: Aidoor.)

Ukato ignored the fact that, once again, the man who created him didn't refer to him by his prefered name. Without moving his lips, Ukato spoke to Mithos using a power to keep his father from hearing their conversation, telling the hedgehog, "I don't wish to sever the ties between my father and myself. He may be tyrannical, but he is the one who gave me my life. I'd do whatever I could to protect his life, but that's not to say that I don't have my own thoughts and will. Had worse come to worse, I myself would've stepped in to save your wife. I don't care what happens to me, so long as the man who created me is safe."
"I don't think you heard me clearly, Artemis. Raikaiser and I are only here to waste the F-series robots. We don't have any interest in fighting Apollo. As far as we care, he's your problem," Vurado smuggly said. "Besides, no way am I going to lose to a piece of junk anomaly. I could take on all of the F-series robots alone if I had to. With Raikaiser by my side, it'd be little more than a cake walk!"

Mithos looked at Ukato. <He created me from scraps of DNA he collected. I'm as much his . . . son as you are. And I know what he can do. Trust me, there's a reason I betrayed him. Due to the way we were both brought up, I consider you a brother as much as I do Dusche. But do not think for a second that will keep me from fighting when the time comes and we must do battle. The cogs in the clock of time tick by ever slowly, and with each turn we near the oblivion. I intend to do what I must before that time comes.> he responded with his mindspeaking.
Eggman looked at Mithos. Smiling as he turned away, he said, "E Doub . . . I mean Ukato, keep an eye on Prometheus here. I must attend to something." and walked away.
A laugh echoed through the hallway. "Oh really?" asked a voice. A purple echidna-like being with four powerful wings stood at one end of the hall. "Well then, let's see you back that up!" he said, launching at them with incredible speed. Artemis jumped in front of them and stopped the person from hitting the others, then threw him to the ground. "Tch, you never were fun Brother." said the purple echidna. "Apollo, you've as much right to call me your brother as you do to call Lady Videl your wife."
Colby and Videl looked at the two. "That's Apollo, A.K.A F-0. The fastest of the machines, and based on Artemis' designs." Colby explained to Vurado and Raikaiser.

Though he himself is part of the F-series line of robots, he is not grouped with the anomalies that Vurado and I have come here to destroy," Raikaiser said. "In short, we're only here to destroy his F-series 'brothers'," Vurado backed up. 'But I wouldn't say that I have no interest in fighting him,' the half-vampire then thought to himself.

(Time to introduce a new element to my stories!)
Mithos turned around. "Now that my work is done, I believe it is time for me to be leaving." he said, taking out a yellow stone. The stone was shaped like a triangle. "Stone of Electricity, grant me your power!" he said, the stone floating in front of him. A yellow flash surrounded him and, when it disipated, Mithos was crackling with electricity, his yellow stripes glowing an even brighter yellow, and his quills pointing higher than usual. He did a sort of two-fingered salute to Ukato, then turned into a streak of lightening. He quickly shot into the wall and left the room.
Apollo smiled. He quickly vanished and reappeared where he'd been originally. He flew down the hallway, his wings slicing the steel walls as he aimed for Varudo.
