Story Book Series Theory; Possible answer to what's next?

Good to be back Posts: 2,496 Group: S Rank Hero Member #9,063 Joined: June 14, 2008 Gender: Male	As we probably all know, Sega has plans for a "Story Book series". The two games that are currently from the series are Sonic and the Secret Rings & Sonic and the Black Knight. There is something noticeable about these two games. Sonic and the Secret Rings has a storyline revolving around fire. Sonic and the Black Knight has a storyline revolving around wind. They both have a storyline revolving around elements of nature and legends. So this could mean we could see Sonic travelling to Atlantis, and more interestingly, to a world of darkness. Discuss. So what would the super form be? In SatSR, there was Dark Spine, which didn't really make sense to me. In SatBK, there was Excalibur Sonic, which did make sense. So maybe in Sonic and the Lost City, there would be Poseidon Sonic, or MerSonic? And how would Sonic get into the story? Would he be swimming in a pool, finally getting over his fear, when all of a sudden a whirlpool appears, dragging him underwater? ... Wait, that's pretty funny!

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	I swear I've heard that element theory on SSMB before, Radar.... Anyways, Greek mythology is a really good choice, what with all of the gods and their drama. However, since this is called the Storybook Series, it would be exceedingly proper for Sonic Team to go for a Brothers Grimm/fairy tale type direction, or even Alice in Wonderland. Nothing would be more awesome than running through the giant's castle followed by a race down a beanstalk, or a tour through the Queen of Hearts' castle.

Think about it, there's so many people that Tails could represent: -H.G.
