Blaire, not about to become plastered on the crumbling walls, folllowed Porl's example. The dog began sprinting away from the sight, eyes scanning for any sort of danger. Aurora too heard the explosion, possibly with greater clarity then that of Vida. She looked at the hedgehog-chameleon mix, only one question on her mind. "What do you supposed blew up?" (40%) |

"The way he wasn't shy to bringing down the Casino, it wouldn't surprise me if that robot went for another target," Vida said with her sights fixed on the explosion and decided to head there. "What if there are more people here?" Sapphire fussed as her brother kept pulling her. "They either made a run for it or is more likely too late for them..." Porl replied sadly as he continued to flee. Sapphire looked back worried and saw a fiery blast chased quickly after them. The inferno was rapidly on their trail and its heat was suffocating. Their hearts started beating at an accelerated rate as they were about to be engulfed in flames if they didn't hurry. |

Vanadium witnessed the inferno from a safe vantage point in the sky, all the while shouting, "YES, BURN, BURN RUN ALL YOU LIKE YOU LITTLE INSECTS, YOU CANT ESCAPE THE FLAMES!" "Vanadium, what are you doing?" Came the voice of another robot behind him, Vanadium was caught off guard and quickly turned around, he was relieved that it was only Platinum, "Nothing, just testing some bombs" Platinum looked down to see two giant craters and a lot of smoke "I see, Eggman ordered you back 2 hours ago, hes about ready to rip your visor off" "Let him pout all he wants, I'll be back there shortly." Platinum nodded than warped out of sight. Vanadium looked down and was dissapointed that the fire display has subsided, "Dammit, shows over." Bored and grained, Vanadium warped back to HQ to recharge, but before he could, a foul voice rang in his auditory sensors. "VANADIUM!" "crap." |

The fire was catching up until Porl finally saw an exit. "Hold on tight!" he yelled as he held on to his sister and jumped out. The moment they hit the ground the whole place blew up in a burst of flames. Sapphire looked back and tried to catch her breath. "That was close," she said as she continued to breathe rapidly. She looked back and saw how all the other prisoners crowded around the explosion, most of them still shaky and with fearful looks on their expressions. Suddenly, the chameleon-hedgehog pops into the scene showing off her red pelt. "What happened here?" she questioned anyone who would answer, though mos there were still frozen by the fright. |

Blaire too jumped out, landing on the ground with a roll. The sound of an explosion reached her ears and she looked to she the warehouse engulfed in flames. "Oh boy...luckily I have lightning fast reflexes...or I'd be in that big doghouse in the sky..." "Blaire!" Upon hearing that voice, the dog looked to see Aurora heading for her. "Are you okay?" the Timber Wolf asked. "I'm good, Aurora," the husky answered. What happened here? "Some robot jerk thought it would be fun to blow this place," Blaire answered, her voice full of annoyance. |

"YOU HAVE A LOT OF NERVE SHIRKING YOUR DUTIES!" Eggman started. "I SHOULD HAVE YOU TURNED INTO SCRAP!" When his rant was finished, Eggman had actual smoke billowing from his ears. Vanadium could care less, with no real rivals or enemies to obliterate anymore, he lost all sense of loyalty to anyone, except his Brothers. Gold entered the room and took a spot in one of the recharging stations. "One more slip up, and its the scrap heap for you, UNDERSTAND!?" "Fine, whatever you say Egghead." Vanadium mockingly told him, he remembered how Sonic used to mock Eggman by calling him this, so it gave him great amusement to see Eggman react the same way as when sonic had said it. Eggman had had enough and left, Vanadium went to a recharge station and hooked the proper equipment up. While recharging he struck up a conversation with Gold. " What are you in for?" "Nothing much, just set fire to an entire city in Japan, the usual. You?" "I just got into a few scraps and blew up a dungeon and casino, a slow day if ever there was one." |

Vida scoffed as she heard Blaire's answer. Figures. No ndoubt, it was Vanadium. "Hang tight. Help is on its way, in the meantime, I have some things to attend to," she said to the prisoners and walked away. Sapphire ran after her and placed her hand on Vida's shoulder. When she turned around, the chinchilla stared at her pleadingly. "What are you going to do?" she asked. "You don't need to worry about that. My uncle and some helpers are coming.Soon you'll be in safe hands and fully free again," Vida replied and continued down a road that led deep into the forest. |

Blaire watched as Vida walked away from them. "Huh, I hope she knows what she's doing," the husky said, tapping her right temple. "Don't worry, I've seen her in action," Aurora spoke up, a small grin on her face. "Everything will be fine, you all see." |

When Vanadium and Gold had finished recharging, a loud speaker crackled on. "Vanadium, Gold, report to the Briefing room, NOW!" "And the wheel keeps turning." Vanadiu stated Dryly. "My "Prized" Commander, as you may or may not know. Pesky O.R.D agents have been secretly freeing my Prisoners. Your Mission is to intercept and neutralize all O.R.D threats, and if possible, bring them in alive." The six Gave Eggman a Salute and disbanded. |

Before long, troops began to gather at the area. They seemed to be headed by a light blue chameleon. His face gave off the aura of someone tough, mature yet kind. He was quite older than Vida, though not nearly enough to be her father. More accurately, this was her uncle. He stood there as some of the people he brought began helping the once-prisoners board the airship they arrived in. Turning his sights towards Blaire and Aurora, he smiled kindly and gave a small bow a greetings. "And how may I be of service to you two?" he asked. |

Blaire and Aurora returned the bow with a snappy salute. Blaire was the one that spoke. "Agent Blaire Fields and Agent Aurora Lunetane of the Oakland Resistance Division. We've been having a problem with this robot. We think he belongs to Dr. Robotnik." |

As Vanadium was in the air, he thought of his encounters with the organics. "Well well, so thats what they call themselves, buy I guess it doesn't really matter since they will be dead or roboticized soon enough anyway." Vanadium and the others continued to scan the ground for any signs of these "O.R.D. agents" Chromium then eyed an airship, "Sir, isn't that the prison you blew up?" Vanadium glanced at the area where the prison once stood and saw the airship as well. "Well how nice, it seems they are making our job easier than expected, Engage!" The six robots broke formation and descended to the ground, Vanadium specifically landed in front of Blaire and Aurora, he quickly took a step back as he was too close. He gave a low chuckle, "Well it seems I wont have to track you down now will I." He said. Platinum switched on a function that greatly increased the volume of his voice and declared, "IN THE NAME OF THE GREAT DOCTOR IVO ROBOTNIK, I HEREBY PLACE YOU ALL UNDER ARREST, YOU WILL BE IMPRISONED AND ROBOTICIZED IMMEDIATELY!" |
