You will have 2 weeks to compete however a generous gap of 1 week is allowed for a non posting period... if either competitor takes longer than 1 week to make a reply then their characters fate is instantly handed to their opponent and/or the judges and they will be declared the loser. Begin with posts of your characters regaining consciousness and realizing that they are back in their natural bodies and retain all memories from the cafeteria.

Akashi was on a platform walked to the edge and looked down and saw nothing at the bottom, �So this is the pitfall platform zone what I saw in that cafeteria, doesn�t seem too bad� he said with a confident tone. Akashi saw another platform just to the north left side; he walked back to the south east corner of the platform his was on and then began to run. Akashi ran as fast as he could and then jumped and did a flip in the air and landed on his feet on the other platform. On the other platform he looked around to see if his opponent was around, he couldn�t see him so drawled his sword and waited.

He stood up, stumbling a bit. "So...time for round one..." He said confidently. Leo was ready to fight. He saw the tiger and drew his sword. He noticed that Akashi hadn't seen him. Taking extra care to be quiet, he began to run across the platforms, far away from Akashi. After Leo was behind the tiger he jumped at Akashi and swung down, not making much noise. Sandopolis Act 2 Posts: 2,370 Group: S Rank Hero Member #2,954 Joined: October 16, 2007	Akash looked down on the floor of the platform and saw a faded shadow other than his own behind him, as soon as the tiger saw the shadow he quickly moved to his left and then ran and jumped to another platfom. Akashi grabbed one of his daggers and quickly turned around and threw it towards his opponent. Akashi looked on to see it the the dagger would or would it miss, the tiger was ready for his opponent this time. Edited by Zamau, Sep 10 2009, 12:40 PM.

Leo set his sword down next to him and placed his hand out towards the dagger. Suddenly, in a gust of wind, the dager flew up into the air. Leo caught it, picked up his sword, and barely managed to get off the platform before it fell. He began to charge as a counter attack.

Akashi was about to jump but his opponent charged at him and pushed him to the edge of the platform he was on, the tiger was about to fall so he quickly leaped to a platform behind him. The tiger landed on his back because Leo�s counter injured him a little, Akashi began to stand up and looked at his opponent and then came running holding his sword with the blade against his right shoulder. Akashi swung the sword towards his opponent.

There wasn't too much to go off of and there were a lot of apparent edits that I can't see so I'll leave you with a solid 7 since I cant see major faults. Just please... try and move the chat speak concerning matches to PMs or the OOC thread. This goes for both you and Leo. Grammar 4/10 The constant use of the word "drawled" bugged me. To drawl is to speak with drawn out vowels (We-e-ll or waaaaaaaaait are examples of such) "drew" or "drawn" are better words to use. There were also instances of you missing letters on your own character's name and at least one instance of a "and..and..and" run on sentence. If I were you, I'd focus on grammar and add a bit of size on my posts in round 2 if you get there. Adaptation to Setting 7/10 There wasn't major use of the arena in your posts outside of the standard. You did act as though your character forgot that the platforms fell, but it didn't really lead to more than a simple jump backwards. Entertainment Value 5/10 I give you a standard for getting the job done but I found myself bored at the trivial "back and forth"ness of the fight on both ends. Your output was dry when it came to description as well.. at least one instance of describing a fall.. or a swing of the sword or anything really, could have helped you. 23/40 BurningLeo (Leo) Fair Play 5/10 You really took no damage, seemed to have no trouble with a dagger throw managing to catch it.. and really didn't have much to worry about as all you needed to do was fly away from a falling platform. Grammar 6/10 Missing commas in some areas while others seemed a little over fragmented (mostly in the beginning) and wrongly so. Your writing seemed brutally simple for the majority of the match. Adaptation to Setting 6/10 Overall.. minimal use of the arena and it really didn't seem to change the way you would fight normally. Entertainment Value 5/10 Again, not much to keep me too entertained, I'd like to see more details and/or thoughts in the future.. anything to spice up the un-descriptive straightforwardness of your style and your opponents as I said. Again, please keep OOC posts in PMs or the OOC thread as it only clutters this. 22/40 Awaiting TUC's judgment

You also took a hit, though how such a minor wind attack can hurt you is beyond me... But that's the anomalistic abilities scientist in me talking. ^__^;; -Grammar: 5/10 Sentences should never, EVER contain the word 'and' more than once. Also, you keep saying your character 'drawled' his sword, when in fact the verb you're looking for is 'draw' (present tense) or 'drew' (past tense). -Adaptation to Environment: 6/10 Small mention of platforms, but you did reference the hazard of actually falling once. -Entertainment: 6/10 Nothing particularly riveting, but you provide one or two nice bits of mental imagery. BURNINGLEO -Fair Play: 5/10 Automatically knocking Akashi's dagger out of his hand with that wind attack was really bad, not to mention you took at least four or five other actions in that one post alone. You literally PUT YOUR SWORD DOWN (not dropping it), disarmed your opponent with a blast of wind, caught the weapon and then proceeded to bend down and pick your own weapon up again. That doesn't seem to be very feasible. -Grammar: 8/10 Yep, yep. Good stuff, a few teeny mistakes though. -Adaptation to Environment: 5/10 Small mention of platforms, but little real use of them. -Entertainment: 4/10 One of your three posts was some kind of poorly described aerial stealth attack or something, the next was an OOC post and the last was something that I would happily label as godmodded. I can't in good faith give this field a very high score. An unfortunately short fight which I felt could have gone a bit further and provided some more solid data to work with... but really, I think the Fair Play is a real factor in this one, so the final scores ought to e pretty definitive. Good luck to whoever goes through to the next round and check that grammar folks! Zamau - 25 Burningleo - 22 Let's tally the scores shall we? With twist of his blade, Akashi dropped his stance and pushed upwards, sending Leo's sword skyward, falling to the far left of the arena into the blackness. The crowd cheers and wishes for a brutal finish, their screams and roars, kill chants.. you name it. Shiver.. shiver Leo falls back as Akashi looms over him, whether or not he would have gone for the kill himself will forever remain unknown to the audience. The tiger jumps backwards as the platform finally gives, Leo unable to make a leap to the next platform over from his seated position, grabbing desperately for the air and falling... achieving the same fate as his weapon. Up in their throne like seats, Timotheus and Sadistic seemed to be conversing, completely ignoring the action below either to irritate the Tiger or for other reason. Without looking down, Sadistic snaps his fingers and Akashi is returned to the cafeteria, victorious. (Akashi is now returned to the Cafeteria/ The Void is now available to Leo)
