What is the difference between a duck?

 This thread is dedicated to the first round match up between the competitors listed in the title. You will have 2 weeks to compete however a generous gap of 1 week is allowed for a non posting period... if either competitor takes longer than 1 week to make a reply then their characters fate is instantly handed to their opponent and/or the judges and they will be declared the loser.

Begin with posts of your characters regaining consciousness and realizing that they are back in their natural bodies and retain all memories from the cafeteria.

 Zak slowly opened his eyes, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head were he had fallen. "ugh, where am I?" His memory suddenly burst back to life. He got up happily, joyful to get out of that bore of a cafeteria. He calmed down a bit though, reminding himself that this battle was no game, he just had to win. He got ready and awaited his opponent to wake up.

Zak had assumed the platforms stayed stable until both fighters were concious. he had assumed wrong. the platform he was on started to fall. He knew he couldn't make a jump, so he did what he would have done. He charged up a wind blast in his arms and rocketed up to the next platform. Zak never used wind for battle, but it always came in handy during tight fixes like that one. not wanting to re live the process, he jumped back to the platform that had now reappeared.

What is the difference between a duck?

 you have been given the green light to finish off your opponent either simply or with a small match recap.. or follow a trend and win then refuse to kill.. xD

Zak Had waited long enough. The crowd was getting restless and he had just dodged his third piece of junk thrown at him. The judge had just killed another without giving him a chance, why should he give this guy one? "I can kill him now. I won't be too tired for the next fight, and might have the edge...but can I just kill him? really?..." He was at war with himself. he could, but he shouldn't. he Wanted to scream out in frustration. If he just killed him here, what would happen? the crowd would cheer and he would win. If he didn't? The crowd would get angrier and he could get beat by his opponent and die. In that moment, the demonic force that had always helped Zak over took it's other, nicer counterparts. He made a decision, and with the momentum of jumping of the panel he was on, and dodging a well aimed can, he threw a deadly knife that struck his opponent right in the heart. "...fire blade..." Zak jumped onto the platform and stabbed his opponent again to make sure with the newly formed blade of flames. he jumped away to see his opponent fall, buried in a grave of the everlasting shadows. he had just killed someone, in cold blood. An evil smile stretched across his face, and a new red iris surrounded his pupils, replacing the normal blue. he jumped toward the exit and walked away, now a killer.

 There is no exit, you are sent back.

"Yess Yess YESSS!" Sadistic made a big happy face and even a small sarcastic dance of joy. "FINALLY! Someone not afraid to get a little crimson on their hands... THAT, IS A FIGHTER"

The crowd cheers in massive approval, the barbarianistic shadow beings enjoying every moment in this hellacious circus show.

With a snap of his fingers, Zak was dematerialized back to the cafeteria and the body of his opponent plunged into the abyss as the platform beneath it caved, a small crumbling heard as stone remnants crashed into eachother as they fell.

"Ah.. I can see it all now..." He returns to his chair and relaxes, awaiting more fight results, another small flash illuminating the immediate area around him for a short moment.

Winner via DQ/Kill - Zak

Zak is returned to the Cafeteria and his opponent has fallen into the abyss... death expected but not ensured.
