A new OFLC rating has popped up which suggests Sega might be looking to re-release the remake to the Dreamcast hit Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut.

Sonics’ first true foray into 3D was released back on the Dreamcast way back in 1998 but the Director’s cut was released on the Gamecube and PC back in 2003. The Director’s cut included extra missions and unlockable Game Gear Sonic titles.

We are not sure what Sega has planned for Sonic Adventure DX. The rating states ‘Multi Platform’ which suggests this could be heading to more than one system. There are plenty of possibilities: A new play control release for the Wii, an Xbox Live Arcade release or maybe a small part of a new Sonic compilation.

I hope it's a PS3/360 game with a major upgrade in graphics. Maybe even a few extra levels.

Christmas is back again

A remade of the so known popular series I haven't had the chance to try. And probably won't.
But, if it arrives on all alternative consoles, then I be checking this out for sure. Though, I agree with the graphics, but most of the games are improved when their being remade.
Working on banner, but if your looking to have some time off. Come, visit my channel on youtube.

If they're doing SA1.... SA2 wouldn't be super far behind. >3

It's most likely just going to be a port though. I'd like it if it had graphics as good as Sonic Unleashed, but they'd have to completely redo the game for that.

I still own the PC version, so it will take more than a fancy graphical makeover to get me interested in this.

The PC version even on highest graphics is still far outdated in graphics compared to today's games.

Yes, but if the gameplay is going to be exactly the same then why bother playing it.

Well like I said, IF it's remade(likely to just be a port) they'll most likely add more content. Also a remake would likely remove a lot of the glitches, it would be cool if they redesigned all of the locations like the Mystic Ruins, etc.

I say nay for this one. Yeah, Sonic Adventure was good, but come on guys, why are you content with just a rehash of the same thing over and over? I support new projects, and not remakes.

Considering their track record with ports, it's lining up to be even worse than the original already >>

I saw this coming.

I don't want this to turn into a Pro-SADX/Anti-SADX argument, but IMO SADX was just as good as SA if not better.

I think he's talking about Sonic Genesis for GBA.
