Angel Island Act 2 Posts: 61 Group: D Rank Adventurer Member #10,286 Joined: August 25, 2009	I gues they don't want it to seem like Eggman's monster truck can out-run Sonic. Sonic is supposed to be the fastest character, yet in Sonic R, it's possible for him to be beaten by everyone else, even EGG ROBO, seriously? They fixed that in Sonic Riders by making tracks/races that required boards, where it'd make sense for someone to out-race him, and same with cars.

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	"Should" implies that there's some objective obligation to put Sonic on foot in a racing game when, well, there isn't. Regardless, it doesn't make sense for Sonic to participate in a vehicle race if he doesn't have a vehicle no matter how fast on foot he is. Vehicular races are to display your talent as a driver/pilot, not your ability to run. Seriously. xP

They said they tried so you know if they say they can't get it to work, it can't work but besides that I am sort of wondering who else will be in the game, Ristar anyone?

Looks better then I'd first anticipated. And hell, I am willing to accept in a vehicle, board, act like a werewolf, become a swords wielder. Just continue with the creativity. Not our faults that some can't see that development. Also, fair trade why Sonic is in the car, along with everyone else. It's a racing game after all. And when everyone's in a vehicle, why should Sonic be on foot. No sense at all, as that would ruin the fact of competition like someone said above. Looks great, I may actually have to look more into this.

Sega had something when the made sonic riders, why not continue? Because a lot the fanbase hate riders.
