Tell me, is there any news of the car selection? Because GT has historically had a big slant towards Japanese cars. Which is great if you're a fan of Japanese cars I suppose, but not so if you aren't. Me...I've just raced them in so many driving games I'm kinda sick of them. |

Well just that there are going to be 1000 cars in the game with some carried over from GT4 but lots of new ones. Ferrari and Lamborghini are now in the mix, although Porsche probably will not be. It's reported they signed an exclusive deal with another company(probably EA for NFS:Shift). What I'd like to see return is Vector as well as some other under rated supercar companies like Mosler and SSC. Maybe some more American tuner companies. GT4 had Callaway but lets get Hennessey and Lingenfelter in there, those two aren't likely though. |

One thousand cars sounds impressive...at least initially. Because you know they like to pad the number by adding a few to a few dozen versions of the same car. And usually it's done with Japanese cars. Like I say, great if you're a Japanese car fan, but I would like the same amount of effort being given to other areas so that everybody is treated equally. Also, let's not forget a ton of the cars are typically econoboxes you wouldn't want to race in anyway. It's been like that pretty much ever since GT1. Me, personally? I want to see a return from that Renault V10-powered minivan in GT2. Oh yeah, and I wanna see that Swedish supercar maker that I can't spell the name of...Koenigsegg? I really love their CCX. |

I forgot, Bugatti is also confirmed for GT5 and yes there will be lots of multiple versions but there's more so there will be more different ones as well. GT4 had around 700+, GT PSP 800+, and GT5 around 1000. Anyway that's why GT is great, it gives you an option to drive/modify your car at places you'd never be able to visit and it gives you the option to drive cars you'd never be able to afford. Might as well give the option of not just great cars but regular cars as well. GT4 had a good, great cars to econo car ratio. A much better ratio than any other GT game. The Renault Van was awesome. Koenigsegg is good too, but it's pretty well known. I want some more lesser known companies like already mentioned. Also the Cadillac Sixteen, I love that car. lol

As far as I recall, GT is the game that keeps raising debate about games getting "too realistic"... So let me guess, GT5 is gonna be even more sparkly shiny real real fun time? |

New interview with Yamamuchi. Good info! I'm glad that not only will we have Nascars and WRC cars, we'll have real races involving them, not just the cars.
