I'MA FIRIN' MA LAZER!
My brother has recently downloded an emulator, and so has been going crazy playing all the old games we loved as kids. It's fun remembering all the games we used to play, because I've even been reminded of ones that were long forgotten until now.

I don't know if a topic like this has ever been started before, if so feel free to close this. However, if not: What games do you remember playing as a kid?

Some of my favourites were/are:
Zelda: Orcarina of time
Banjo Kazooie
Diddy Kong Racing
Yoshi Story
Mischeif Makers
Chu Chu Rocket
Space Staition Silicon Valley
Final Fantasy IX
Pokemon Stadium
Mario '64

...along with many more, and of course the obvious Sonic classics.

Huh? What's that post above me say?

Ah, me and my friends in college always play some oldschool games. ^^ But I have a few to list.

Mario Kart [N64]
Diddy Kong Racing [N64]
Golden Eye [N64]
Sonic&Knuckles: Sonic 3 installed on top [Genesis]
Earthworm Jim [Genesis]
Crazy Taxi [Dreamcast]
Streets of Rage [Genesis]
Bubble Bobble [NES]
Street Fighter [Genesis]

That's just a few that come to mind. There's plenty more, but I'd rather not fill up the thread. ^^;
If someone asks me if I'm enjoying life, unless it's something really unforgivable, I can't help but answer that I am. No matter how much despair there is, I'm satisfied with just living...Just being allowed to be here really is a wonderful thing.

I haven't played too many old games. But I've still kept my eyes on a few of them. The most played are on top, the least played are on the bottom. These are the only ones I've really kept playing:

Kirby's Avalanche [SNES] (plays like Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine. Addicting, like Tetris DS)
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars [SNES] (LOVE it)
Super Mario Bros 3 [GBA] (need a sequel)
Pokemon Crystal [GameBoy] (getting ready for the newer version)
Super Mario Land [GameBoy]

Christmas is back again

Old timers. Well sure I have a few.

Genesis.
Shining Force 1
Shining Force 2
Phantasy Star IV
Sonic & Knuckles
Fatal Fury
Lightning Force
Teenage Turtles (Can't remember the middle name, but this game was good.)
I also liked most fighting games, were you had to venture from room to another by beating up a couple of guys and chicks etc.)

I may have more, but can't come to think about their names. So guess they ain't so awesome. :)

Sega Master System
Wonder Boy III
Teddy Boy (How creative that game was, still remember it as I grew up with it.)

Nes
Super Mario III (Yes I loved the double battle system. I tend to play it all the time with a friend of mine, long time ago however.)

SNES
Donkey Kong
Teenage Turtles (Yes, I liked both titles. Much preferred above the fighting one on Genesis. Let's say it's the one equal to MK.)
Psycho/Fantasy Pinball (Even if their originally were on Amiga system.)

Am I missing someone, I may. Though as far I can't remember em without actually looking through my collection. Though, as far I don't remember, their not good enough. ;)

Ahh. I forgot about Golden Eye and Crazy Taxi.

Does anyone else remember Rayman or 40 winks? I only ever had the demos but I played them for hours solid.

Get Team Buddies on PS1 if you can. Fighting Cockney Beans stacking blocks to build weapons, yep it's the most awesome game ever.

. . .

My fondest memories of computer games eh? Hmm....

DuckTales (First game I owned on the first console I owned).
DuckHunt
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Sega Game)
Super Mario World (the first game mum and I would play together, stayed up all night playing it too!)
Super Mario 3
Mickey's Magical Adventure (you know the one with the forest and costumes?)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (first one for the sega I "borrowed" from my cousin)
Heart of Darkness
Rayman
Crash Bandicoot 1-3
Mario 64
Mario Kart (a newer game mum and I would play and enjoy)
Conkers Bad Fur Day (64 - both of us love this game)
Orcarina of Time (first game to have zombies that genuinely scared me off of playing it for a while).

I think those are my fondest ones.

Alex the kidd in miracle world (first game I ever played.)

Seconded that. I remember that title. First to me as well.
I never beat it, however. Or at least what I think. After the second castle, I came to what I'd say were totally impossible to pass.

And when there was no cheats available, I died countless of times, and returned back to the main title screen over and over again.
You wouldn't know how to make it further would you? Ha ha! No but serious, is there more levels after the blue castle. Can't remember much, I just know how difficult that stage were.

And I actually may have to mention Star Fox. I never owned it, but it rocked like hell on the old master system. I think that were the name at least.
I completed the games several times, because it was so awesome. I even enjoyed the music. XD
