I'MA FIRIN' MA LAZER!
So I've had Quinsy for a little over the week. It was really bad to begin with. If you dont know what it is..It's like tonsilitus, only worse. I have all the symptoms, most of which have gone away. I'm only suffering from migrances now.

However, the one thing that isn't budging as quickly as id like to..is the facial swelling. It's only on one side, the right, and It's not that noticable but it's bad enough for me it to bug me personally.

So what I'm getting round to is..does anyone know of anything that will reduce it apart from the obvious ice-pack?

Thanks.

Christmas is back again

Nothing more then what you may find in a local medicine store. Ask em there, as I sure haven't experienced it, but there have to be something to loose the swallowing.

I know, not much of an advice, but that's all my set's with coins thrown in front of yah.

. . .

Have you not been given anti-biotics? Normally doctors throw them at you when you get this or threaten to get your tonsils removed. I used to get tonsillitis a lot as a child (never quinsy) so I was lucky but because the anti-biotics never worked he got me into hospital and got my tonsils removed. Great thing to have done to be honest but I know it is a bit more awkward for adults as it can hurt more.

If he hasn't given you anti-biotics (which would reduce the swelling as it would kill some of the bacteria) you should try taking some anti-inflammataries as long as your pharmacist or doctor says it is okay at least thne you won't have as much pain when swallowing.
