my rant about 3d Sonic

Hydrocity Act 1 Posts: 94 Group: C-Rank Mobian Member #9,735 Joined: February 3, 2009 Gender: Male Favorite System: N64 Favorite Sonic Game: Sonic Jam	Okay so Sonic Adventure was okay although it felt rather rushed and sloppy. Then we got Sonic Adventure 2 which introduced some rather awkward characters with some less then stellar voice acting and on top of that no more adventure field. Plus you were now forced to play all the gameplay modes instead of just being able to pick. Then came Sonic Heroes which was bogged down by atrocious voice acting as well as an incredibly awkward team system. Then came........Sonic 06 I think. there is no need for me to rant about this game. We all know. Sonic and The Secret Rings showed up and the controls felt rather awkward and the game just didn't feel like a Sonic game. Then came Sonic Rush which felt like just a 2d racing game. it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. the same thing goes for the Sonic Advance games. Then came Sonic Chronicles ah yes the first Sonic game in ten years to actually get me hooked. I looooove that game. The battle system is perfect the storyline unfolds perfectly and the new characters and characters I previously didn't like actually managed to interest me. Then we got Sonic Unleashed. two words were hog. it ruined the game for me. Then Sonic and the Black Knight showed with a horrible storyline and even worse controls. So yeah that basically sums up why I can't stand Sonic today. keep in mind this is just my opinion. Long live Saturn Sonic!

The rants here, even the negative ones, wouldn't get so tiresome if they produced something more insightful and different. But as it stands, you've just described the standing of "Average Sonic Hater # 17,653". Congrats. Also, what is Saturn Sonic? If I recall, that ghastly era consists of some ports of some mediocre games and a cancelled original game.

Sonic R, Sonic Jam, Sonic into Dreams, Sonic 3D Blast. Also keep in mind that I own every Sonic game I ranted about and attempted to play through the entire game. I don't HATE Sonic he just hasn't interested me that much lately

What you're referring to is NiGHTS which just happens to have Sonic as an unlockable character. And whether or not you played these games was irrelevant to my point. My point was that these topics are absolutely boring. Also, you just said-- So yeah that basically sums up why I can't stand Sonic today. -- Indicating you're not exactly fond of him right now.

Also good point, Im really unimpressed by this hater, he barely put up a good rant AT ALL. I mean, it seems like the original voice actors to him got worse and worse, and for the rushed bit on Sonic Adventure? It was one of the first Dreamcast games to come out, OF COURSE the graphics and such are not going to be good, most games starting out on a new system arn't. Sonikku my best guess is cause of the beastality of it that a human is kissing Sonic. The game itself is average if you manage to somehow laugh at the silliness of the game(And I do that even when I play). But the thing is, people say Sonic Unleashed is terrible compared to 06. And yes Ray, he is telling the truth, and I played BOTH GAMES. Because both these scenes are dangerously close to the end of the game. Otherwise, I wouldn't' have used it. VladDrakken(DAK) Cancelled game? Which one is that? Sonic X-treme. It had many bugs and engine crashes, and after god knows how many delays, they cancelled it. Oh and about the video: "Speak into my four nipple microphone." There is nothing wrong with those two games at all. I enjoyed them both more than I enjoyed Unleashed.

Unleashed was EPIC for me. Only the day stage because I'm more of a racing games guy. (E.G, mario Kart, Crash Nitro, etc.) although the night stage was kinda fun, it got boring after a while. Sonic 06, I really haven't played this game, but I've watched movies of the plot, and it's kinda messed up. Sonic Adventure was fun, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was fun. I don't give a crap about the voice actors, the gameplay was fun to me. Sonic R - VERY VERY EPIC. I wish there were more courses tho. Again that's just me. Sonic 3D Blast - It had good graphics, well designed, but just didn't well...get to me. Maybe because I could barely get pass the first level I sucked at that game. So all around, I just play sonic games instead of saying "I wonder what SEGA did wrong with this one" and enjoy them the best I can.

That could take the cake, and this game would be what Sonic R should've been. Yes they're making ~~Sonic Kart~~ Sonic and Sega Allstars Racing, but I want a running racing game with good music, and an existence of difficulty.
