A solid FPS, on that little white box? No it cannot be 'tis blasphemy!

But yeah, the game looks quite awesome to be honest, and wow if I knew about it earlier I would buy it straight away. But I haven't seen it in shops anywhere which is quite strange...

I actually rented it from Gamefly the day it came out. It is without a doubt the best shooter the Wii has ever seen, but that's not saying much >_>. The controls were great, and if you don't like the defaults you can customize every single aspect of the control scheme. Remote sensitivity, nunchuck sensitivity, custom button mapping, and you can even customize and move the hud items. That's about the only unique thing about the game. Other than that it is your standard alien fps.

The campaign is short and boring. I only played through the first half of the very short 5 hour-ish campaign. After that I got sick of the campaign. The story was something from a conspiracy movie. The first two levels lead up to a big twist to the story, so it some what keeps you entertained. I do recommend you at least play the first two levels to get a feel for the controls and guns. There's your standard Assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, and snipers, but the alien weapons are a bit more unique. Most of the alien weapons are semi-automatic and involve charging up a shot like the plasma pistol from Halo.

The graphics were great, lighting is good, but sometimes there just isn't enough detail. I remember having to turn a valve to open some switch. When I saw the close up I noticed how crappy the detail was. It was literally one solid green color. No texture, just one color. Other than that though the graphics were still very good. One of the best looking Wii games out there.

Online is very fun, but won't really last you as long as the competition. You can customize your characters class and colors like in Halo. There's 24 ranks so you usually play with players on your skill level. The maps were pretty neat too, most were inspired by certain scenes from the campaign. In the 20 matches that I played I can honestly say there was absolutely no lag. However, in 3 of the matches I played I came across a game breaking glitch that may be caused by lag. At the start of the match my whole screen was black and I couldn't move, the hud was there, people were killing each other, but I couldn't do a damn thing.

I had no choice but to restart the console since you can't access the Wii menu while in a match. All in all the Conduit is a solid game. It's definitely worth a rent. If the Wii is your only console then this is a must buy for you. If you already have a 360/PS3 I really wouldn't recommend buying it right away. I give it a 7/10. It's fun, the online is good, and the graphics are great. Other than that it's just a generic fps. It's a good thing this game is a Wii exclusive or it would be overlooked for sure. So yeah, that's my review of it :D.

I've bought it, and from what I've played so far, it's highly entertaining. Well, mainly because the SCAR is pretty much the Battle Rifle from Halo 3, so I'm at home. <3

Regardless, I've yet to go online with it, but the single player is good. I've only finished two levels, though, so I cannot say if it's too short or long. The first two levels seem decent length, couldn't hurt to be longer.

As for the story, I'm really not expecting Shakespeare, and am mostly in it for the gameplay, which is definitely solid. Metroid Prime 3-esque controls FTW.

Ouch... It got a 3/10 from Edge... I hate Edge though so I take that review with a grain of salt.

All I can say from that trailer is...

Prey on the Wii! :D

No really, look at the scope sight on that alien gun. Exactly like the Alien Rifle from Prey. Some of the Alien based scenery is similar and the portal make the game even more like Prey. *shot*

I played it. It's a rather solid game and it's a good shooter overall. The story isn't so great but I don't think they are much stories original nowadays. Anyway, I haven't tried online yet, but as for the rest, well, pretty much what Louie said. Overall, I recommend it.

NO U!

Got a solid 3/5 stars on X-Play based on it's online merit alone.

I say it's a good game having tried it myself, very solid, not great because it IS only half of an experience but definitely what the doctor ordered for hardcore gamers on the Wii.

And as for your game crashing, like I've said before it is the Wii mandatory, a pingless environment that simulates the feeling of no-lag. In low Ping games you wont really notice anything but as the problem gets worse, timing can be thrown completely through a loop to the point where you become so far behind whats actually going on in a game that you are dropped from it. It's not a bug, that's just the way that system works, and it's a touch test to use on a shooter since all the variables create quite a stress on internet connection relays, low-medium graphics or not.

All in all... SEGA delivered in creating yet another nice IP for this console generation that also includes Chromehounds and Condemned among a couple other mentionable titles. Keep up the great work.. just please.. PLEASE.. bring some of this successful mojo back to your core franchise. T_T

All Sonic needs is a tiny kick in the right direction and he'll be back on track since Unleashed wasn't too far off the goal.

strangely I haven't seen it in stores either. still, it looks like a solid FPS. especially if you only own a wii and you
like the genre. I plan on renting it once it shows on the shelves.
