Interesting, it seems they are going to make lots of motion controlled games for the new peripherals.

*sigh* I loved gaming better when it was just a Bat-a-rang with buttons on it. >_> Edited by MithrilPheonix, Jul 1 2009, 09:23 AM.

I'm CERTAINLY not a huge fan of retro stuff, but I have to agree with you. It's not so much the motion sensing controllers themselves, it's that Nintendo is using it as the Wii's sales gimmick, and I'm sorry to say, its working. Only on the Wii, would a game of virtual conkers sell millions of units. How can anybody say the Wii is taking games forwards? They're actually doing the complete opposite - dissolving peoples' appreciation of great games; brainwashing them into playing retarded party games that would have previously not entertained a gnat. It's pathetic. |

And sadly, the Wii isn't the First to have done motion sensing. ![]() Infact, video games have had motion sensing since the beggining in 1972. ![]() It's not even that, it's that they try to use the excercise gimmick to make more sells, |
