MJ started here but was merged into the Entertainment section and then Billy Mays was merged here, it's inconsistent. xD I actually thought I merged the two topics the other way around. I guess Billy Mays is sort of like the stouter version of Barry Scott of Cillit Bang. I have only ever saw the youtube poops with Billy Mays, but it is always sad to see someone who seems like a genuinely nice and enthusiastic individual die.

I was so shocked, that's just so depressing. So many people have died these few weeks. He hadn't done many of those Pitchmen shows they started on Disc.? I never watched them, but yeah. The only unnatural death rumor I've heard was that Billy Mays was taking the pain medicine, Xanax, to reduce the fear of his upcoming surgery (his third hip replacement surgery) and I dunno how much backing that has but the surgery was supposedly set for what is now today but I don't see a guy who's gone under two other standard procedure operations before being so frightened of it on the third go, so who knows. I just think he died naturally of a heart attack, no falling or internal bleeding craziness that people will make up to dramatize any death.

On a more grim note, I'm in agreement with the idea of an internal hemorrhage, specifically a cerebral one. Getting hit on the head is significant because if you're hit hard enough, a skull fracture can form, and blood will pool to it and clot, forming a subdural hematoma, which causes pressure to be exerted on the brain if not found and relieved immediately with the removal of the clot and drainage through surgery. A subdural might not necessarily be the main cause of death in itself, but it could cause a break in a blood vessel in the brain, prompting the cerebral hemorrhage. Sadly enough, a subdural hematoma operation to a neurosurgeon is much like removing an appendix for a general one. It's usually the first thing you learn and the easiest. Diagnosis would be accomplished through a battery of sensory tests and an X-ray, with either/or an MRI, CT scan and an angiography accompanying if necessary. If Billy was struck on the head, he should've sought medical attention instead of just going home. Odds are, his emergency department physician would've ordered imaging tests for his head and he would've been scheduled for immediate surgery, and he'd still be with us. Bad thing is (maybe not) he would've had to wait on his hip replacement.
