Just to be like a kid I guess so the song wouldn't be perfect. I really wouldn't want to become an adult. Mostly because of leaving my friends. Even though this is life I just wouldn't want to leave my friends. >_> What do you think, though?

Because I'd say none. Not because I didn't like, childhood or now being an adult and all. But there are differences that make em both interesting and boring at the same time. I mean, first of all. When I was a kid, I couldn't hang out with friends, without having my parents ask, when I should be back at home. Like 10 and 11PM. Sure, I don't say every parent is so demanding about such an hour. But it's simplicity normal, that your parents wish to see you back home, before bedtime. You can't drive a car, instead you need to ask, your dad or mum for a ride. And sometimes you have to ask em before heading to a friends house. You don't have much cash, and it's rather rude to ask about money for this or that all the time. I disliked that at times. Because, I couldn't get always what I wanted. Because it was too expensive, or something that they didn't see appropriate. Now the positive sides, that you don't need to pay your bills, and there is no such thing as work, unless we talk about chores, to earn a bit of money. Thus means, you don't need all that money to take care of your self, because everything is bought by the adults. On other hand, when adult, we can drink, drive, and be with friends all night. If we die, well, that's a shame, we should have been more careful. But in all, don't you see it. We do not have to ask our parents for everything. And if we have work, and able to use our savings to pay bills, gasoline for our car, and food. Well, it's no restrictions really what we can spend em on. Though we also need to think, we can't just throw em around our self. And with no work, we'll be one closer step, being without a home. As not all parents wish to see their children live home till their above 20. And nowadays, it's rather expensive. Take an example on our emperor actually. He's sharing an apartment right. Thus make his rent, lower then if you decide to live on your own. And we can't avoid the law, like we did as child's. Like steal a few candies from the available store and become caught, it's not more, then to hear our parents yell at us. When adult, we won't get so easily away with it. Prison for all that matters. Anyway, we loose friends, we gain new ones, and some stick to both of em, turn into their graves. So, there is no better or worse, really in my opinion. So nether votes from me.

My teenage years sucked and were a lot of hassle and problems that were just not worth it really. I love my adult life so far, the only main issue is money and bills but other than that I am extremely happy with it and I wouldn't trade it for my childhood because I never full grew up, I have my own house, income and look after myself but I still watch cartoons, cry at the sad ones, play games and have cuddly toys.

This, essentially. I'll never leave my childhood behind, but I'm extremely glad for my teen years to be over, and I'm really looking forward to independence. So I'll actually say Adult...because as an adult, you don't necessarily have to get rid of being a child. I can still laugh at AoStH, or get choked up watching The Lion King, or shit bricks at Chrono Trigger's ending even while I'm working on my master's degree.

The freaking middle/high school drama. Pathetic. As an Adult, you make money, are on you own life, and now have rights that you didn't have as a child. I didn't think it fair that she paid everything on her own. I guess it was nice I was never forced.
