What is the difference between a duck?

Venny he's a guy who defined an era and was lambasted for being a pedophile when it was never proven. If anything, his life was shortened by all the crap he had to go through and that's why people/fans pay their respects and give him space. It's not that he's a god, it's because we are respectful, its a prelude to bad things for you to make fun of dead people.. |

Hmm... The world is respecting, not just the forum. His death marks the end of an era of music, not just his music. Wow, yahoo news says that his debt at time of death is estimated at FOUR HUNDRED MILLION! Source

Honestly, though, I didn't like the guy for all those child abuse accusations. I just highly doubt they were made up. He was declared innocent; that's how it is with rich people. They usually come out innocent. I don't know if it was true or not. Let's just hope he really was innocent and if not, a fair judgment awaits him. I, for one, was not fond of him, but I didn't hate him nor laughed at him or anything. I did find it disturbing that he tried changing his color skin but I guess he had his own motives for that. I'm not happy he's dead, either. If he died, he died. All I can say is R.I.P. and my condolences to whoever is suffering for the loss. I liked some of his songs and many were very touching and he was indeed an influential music star and a great legend. |

Actions speak louder than words.

Because those issues are completely different and are not as simple to solve as A, B , C. We can donate ton of food to people who need it but whether it gets to them is also another matter. Yet food, clothing is still donated on a regular basis. The HIV Virus is constantly mutating, and the exact nature of the virus makes it an extremely hard thing to tackle, if you read up on the exact way it causes disease you'll see its no 'ordinary' virus'. Yet governments have still paid billions into safe sex campaigns and adds across the world and the treatment of other STD has increased. Syphilis for example has gone down dramatically since its introduction. As far as animal cruelty goes, well I wouldn't say that is a MAJOR MAJOR problem, and some of the protetstors don't exactly have the best methods of going about it (yes burning labs and causing riots is a great way to get your point across). In short, for these ''issues'' a lot of stuff is actually being done and it is in no way simple thing to fix. Give the world a little credit. |

I'm not sure whether he was innocent or not and I'm not siding with anyone really. I've heard both sides of the story. While on one side celebrities might get off easier sometimes because they have the money, on the flip side there are people out there who just try and get money out of these things. But I mean I do feel it's odd when (cases like these) in general just start popping up. I mean you have one person who speaks up and then suddenly everyone else is like, "Yeah, my kid was _____ _____...." I do believe I heard one person who was to be heard stood down and refused to. And really considering Jackson never got to live his childhood and was an adult trying to act like a child (and other "strange" behaviors), it would probably be easy to try and pin something on him. I mean some creepy old man's hanging out with little boys and having sleepovers. [Pardon] He was never charged, but he still had to live with the fact people out there believed he did these things (true or not). |

I would actually like to point out that he bleached his skin because of his disease, Vitiligo, which started turning him white and made him look horrible so he bleached his skin so its visual effects would be nullified. You can choose whether or not to believe it but there was the gene evidence there.. you can choose to deny the science of it if that's the way you want to think. The nose is another story.. probably just somethin he did to do for whatever reason... And I'd like to point out that it is really really shallow to not like a guy based on accusations. Lets say I accuse a random person.. lets use Neo, of being a pedo (I know ur not man, it's just an example) I don't care if it is my accusation or the accusations of 20-100 to thousands.... if it is never proven, especially if it cannot be proven in the US under the US justice system.. rich or not (remember Michael Vick.. he's rich and guilty.. there are many others) you cannot truly dislike someone off of accusations alone, you just didn't like the guy in general. Which is fine... but yeah.. Also there are accusations now that his Doctor/Physician may have murdered him with some sort of prescribed overdose, I'm not sure how solid the evidence behind that is but the question will be raised when you're with MJ for no particular reason at the time of his death. http://www.abcnews.go.com/Blotter/MichaelJackson/story?id=7938599&page=1 The fact that he hasn't surfaced when he knows they're after him is suspicious, especially since he got that Demerol shot. |

I didn't really like the Ice Cap music it sort of irritated me. >_> I didn't know but I didn't care who composed/made the theme. Bowie I think he did the nose thing because when he was younger he hated his nose and believed it was huge so he started getting surgery to fix it. Sadly it got too far gone it looked nice in the 80's before he went totally insane with the nose. |

MJ made Ice Cap Zone music? And here I thought it might be possible I'd find a song of his I didn't enjoy. Anyway, really, people make up accusations against celebrities all the time. It's just the fact that the charge was so heavy, and MJ so famous, that it got tons of media attention. And of course, the media wants it to be true, because that means even more to write about...thank God for consensus reality, eh? Not really. I thought for the longest time that he was convicted because of the amount of hype it received, but there isn't even evidence that the molestation even happened. Apart from that, I've yet to hear anything that makes him anything more or less than a benevolent person and an excellent performer. And while everyone else here might be saying "wel at lest no mor boiz get bumraepd lololol" I for one am quite sad about this death. Wore my fedora to the zoo. |
