Okay, here we go. I've been doing a lot of reading on about the Archie "Sonic the Hedgehog" comic continuity a lot recently. So much so, that I have become extremely interested in it; as compared to previously, where I would just shrug off any mention of it. As per my interest, I have decided to go ahead and make an (coincidentally my first) RP based on the idealism and general continuity of that comic. This RP is basically kind of a free-roam, in which all participants will be able to make their stories and have their own adventures. (insert cliche here). You can have an event happen that parallels one in the story, but you can only control what you do. (duh) If you already fairly good with the Archie continuity, good. If not and you still want to join, make sure you keep a tab/window open with this handy. ---------------------------------------- Rules:
remember, being one of these is only an option, it is recommended to have an FC take their spot. ---------------------------------------- Character Template: Name: Pretty self explanatory here, folks. Age: Again, self explanatory. Nothing too crazy though, I don't want any 200-year-olds jumping around like a regular person would be able to, and I also don't need any 3-year-olds being perfectly understandable. Only exception would be if you have a reasonable explanation. (see Bio) Gender: I hope you know this, unless you're some sort of alien or something. Species: Be creative. If your FC is a human, make them an Overlander. Be different. Appearance: Picture or description. And if you choose the later, be descriptive. noting to vague (ex: Blue cat with a shirt, shorts and yelloweyish shoes), but nothing to specific either. (ex: His dark indigo polo shirt was stiff; slightly wrinkled, and had three buttons on it. the bottom of which was the only one buttoned, and they where all of a purple hue with the image of a dragon underneath the clear colored coating.) Alignment: Freedom fighters, Chaotix, Dark Legion, Eggman/Robotnik empire, Black Arms, etc. Abilities and Tools: Any sort of otherworldly or otherwise powers your FC might have, and and sort of weapon or tool that they might carry around with them. Bio: This one is optional, although making one is recommended. Add stuff like personalty, quirks, history, relatives, etc. Keep it sort of brief, no too long, not too short. Additional information: any other sort of information you think we might need to know. --------------------------------------- And here's my character. Name: Ryan "Princeton" the Hedgehog Age: 16 Gender: Male Species: Mobian/Hedgehog Appearance: (Wish I had a picture) Ryan is a dark red-furred hedgehog with deep blue eyes and the usual physique; six down-sloping quills on the back of his head, two spikes on his back, a patch of skin on his chest/belly, and a tail. On his forehead is a three-pointed red tuff of hair. His wardrobe consists of a plain white, un-tucked tee shirt, dark blue jeans, and an extremely loose belt only going through a few of the loops on his right side. On the loose end of the belt is a medium-sized pouch in which he keeps various things, like spare parts for his arm and whatnot. He usually wears a Jean jacket that matches his pants. Hanging on a loose chain around his neck are two dog-tag looking pendants with odd-looking marking on them. On his head is a pair of green lens goggles very tightly strung between his ears and his hair. His shoes are mostly white with a few black, orange and green highlights. On his left hand is a black fingerless glove. His entire right arm is mechanical. Alignment: Freedom Fighter Abilities and Tools: Pyrokinesis, control over chaos energy, enhanced reflexes, speed and strength. Right arm that can turn into, well, anything that fits the parameters of it's size. Bio: Ryan was raised in a generally normal home, only having to deal with the usual tyranny of Robotnik. At the age of five, at the age of 5, he met someone who would soon become his best friend, Jane. At the age of 10, his parents disappeared under "mysterious circumstances", and he continued to live on his own, but would often spend time with Jane and her aunt. At 13, he suffered an injury and infection that would have to have him have his arm amputated, but he instead found a way to get it roboticized. During a fight with his Moebius counterpart, his roboticized arm was destroyed, and was replaced by a much sleeker, much more functional one. Ryan is a general friendly and free spirit, always ready for any sort of adventure or challenge, but is also very inpatient and susceptible to becoming a major hothead and has a fairly large temper. He likes to crack passing jokes or poke fun at those opposed to him (And even his good friends sometimes), and will often show off for no general reason. However, he is very loyal and to those close to him, and is honest. He knows the right from the wrong, but sometimes gets caught up in the moment to differ the two. He would call himself “determined” But most would agree he’s just stubborn. Ryan has no important family members to speak of. Additional Information: Having a giant Swiss army knife attached to his shoulder allows Ryan to have excellent combat skills, being able to improvise on a moment notice. This also makes him an excellent cook, but most disregard his food as being bad because he has a love for spicy food and always makes his dishes incredible piquant. He is also a master Pyrokinetic, and has a fair control over chaos energy. -------------------------------------------------------- I'll probably add the bios for a few other characters, but I'll let that wait until they have a part in the story. Cool, I'm joining.  Name: Vida Age: 17 Gender: female Species: hedge-chameleon Appearance:  Alignment: Hero (good) Abilities and Tools: She has healing powers. Also, she can enter a Spirit Form in which she can heal all wounds and cannot be healed. However, she can only be in this form for a short time (which is even shorter if she was at loss of energy before entering said form) and is left completely immobile and weak once she exits it. Furthermore, when she is in this form, she can literally touch others' hearts and souls and paralyze the person temporarily or make them fall asleep. She also has a gun. Bio: Vida is the daughter of a chameleon called Cereza and a hedgehog named Akuma. She was raised by them for a few year then left under her uncle Skye's custody when her parents' life got too dangerous and it was hazardous for her to be with them. Her uncle Skye trained her and taught her about the powers of one's mind and body. From then on, she's being a skilled fighter who helps people whenever possible. Additional info: Vida can be quite controversial, especially with herself. She has her mother's ability to sense when something isn't quite right and like her mom, she's resigned to death for the good of others. ================= Name: Katherine Age: 18 Gender: female Species: dog (spaniel-border collie) Appearance:  Alignment: Neutral (only goes with whatever suits her personally) Abilities and Tools: She can poison people with her breath, temporarily paralyze them by looking at them, temporarily freeze them with a kiss, or slightly burn things on contact. There's a limit to the usage of her powers so it's not all that likely that she uses them. Bio: Katherine's a spoiled brat who only cares about herself and what she wants. While raised, she got everything she desired but as her ambitions grew, she left her home and traveled. After doing many jobs, she ended up as Skye's student and trained to become a fighter, but ultimately ended up betraying everyone just to get what she wanted. It got up to the point where she betrayed Vida and tried to destroy everything they knew. During her attempt to stop Kathy, Vida nearly killed her. Now they're rivals. Additional info: Katherine, A.K.A. Kathy, is devious, deceitful and cocky. She can put up a good act like if it were nothing but in the end, she only cares about herself. |

I'll join, if you're making an Rp, this must be something special! Jk. Name: Jane Age: 16 Gender: Female Species: Hedgehog. Appearance:  Alignment: Hero Abilities and Tools: Mystical Staff Bio: Jane lived a normal life as an only child with her father and mother. When Jane turns five, her father leaves his family behind claiming that they never treated him fairly. Several years later, her mom becomes an alcoholic as reality hits and she realizes her husband is now gone. After her mom dies in a car crash while DUI, Jane is sent to live with her aunt. Being new in the neighborhood, Jane walks to her neighbor's houses. During one of those visits, Jane becomes close friends with Ryan, her new best friend and last hope for happiness. Although Jane lives with her aunt, Jane finds that her aunt is hiding something from hurt. As Jane learns more about her aunt's cancer, she gets a closer bond to Ryan. Jane strives to leave her horrible history behind, but is forced to face it after her aunt dies. The only refuge left to Jane is to have adventures with her best friend. Name: Novysol(No-Vee-Soul) Kalbuna Age: 19 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Appearance: His fur is black and he has normal Sonic-style quills along with a qull between his large, normal hedgehog eyes and two quills on each side of his head, one on each. On each of his quills are a yellow mark. His eye color is dark blue and he has a red scar near his eye. Novysol also wears a sleeveless dark-blue turtleneck with a golden collar and he has a black belt around his black shorts. Finally, he also wears dark blue sneakers with golden laces with black gloves that also have golden braces around his wrist. Alignment: Mostly neutral but he is sometimes good. Abilities and Tools: Electricity where he can shoot yellow lightning bolts(obviously not as strong as mother nature or even a taser) and use electricity in several ways. Bio: Eh, I'm not going to make a bio but I will make an actual profile soon on this forum and I'll put the link to it here. Additional info: Novysol is a friendly guy who is usually smart and calm most of the time. He tries to think of a smart plan to get out of bad situations and he knows how to use his electric powers real well. Overall, despite his scar, he's a nice, friendly, smart, and calm guy. *runs in* Did someone say bad guys? *evil grin* hehehehehehe.... Name:E 106 "Sigma" Age:??? Gender:Robot Species:Elite robot drone Appearance: A green version of the other E 100 robots, but modified with a stronger gun and slimmer torso. He Also has replaced the number "6" on his chest with a red, Greek letter sigma. Alignment:Anti-Hero Abilities and Tools:Machine gun/laser, laser targeting device, and jet booster Bio:The only surviving robot of the original E 100 series. He was not exiled because he not only failed to find "froggy" but also failed to return to the egg carrier. Because of this he also survived Gamma's "massacre". When he finally returned to the egg carrier, he found his brothers dead, the ship floating in the sea, and egg man failed. He then lost all respect for the scientist and did not reveal to him his survival, and repainted over his I.D. number 6 with the Greek letter of his name, Sigma. Okay, I though you didn't need any more heroes...also I edited Sigma's bio, I though Anti-Hero meant like scourge. Name: Zak Nivek Age:14 Gender:Male Species:Hedgehog Appearance:  Alignment: Hero (freedom fighter) Abilities and Tools:Spells based of the four elements(fire, water, wind, and rock) although he uses fire, ice and electricity the most for offense, earth for defense, and wind when he wants to run a little faster. Bio:he was a happy, normal hedgehog until about age five. he witnessed his parents assassination and roamed the streets alone until he went to live with his grandfather. after he was old enough, his grandfather taught him magic and eventually he went to take an apprenticeship with an old echidna, Acro, a master with projectiles. He also makes a small amount of money helping villagers with odd jobs they may not be able to accomplish due to lack of magical prowess. Additional information: he can forge a sword of fire, but this is not common |

Name: Gnash Age: 16 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog/Echidna hybrid (D.N.A extracted from Knuckles the Echidna. Dr. Eggman attempted to create a superior Knuckles.) Appearance:  Alignment: Hero: Escaped experiment; anti-hero Abilities and Tools: Like Knuckles, his fighting expertise of many fighting techniques are to be reckon with. The only tools he prefers to utilize is what he was created with. His black dreads aren't merely for looks. When an enemy is too close, they become erect and shard-like; flaring all over his head. His metallic hands, when clanked together create a screeching sound. Gnash is reasonably quick on his hands and feet and has a stubborn attitude like is illegitimate father, Knuckles. His special ability is Rage. Normally, his eyes are a mellow yellow, when angered, they turn a fierce red and Gnash becomes completely out of control. In fact, when enraged, he fights almost "ape-like" attempting to thrash his enemies down. Enraged Gnash  He is a close range fighter, therefore special attacks can weaken him. Bio: An experiment of Dr. Eggman, Gnash was created to take out Knuckles after Knuckles became aware that Dr. Eggman was not a friend, but foe (thanks to Sonic.) Gnash was trained to fight by combating other experiments. One day, Gnash was ordered to destroy an adorable rabbit experiment that failed to have the ability of the "Super Hop." Dr. Eggman released the rabbit out into his private grassland and sent Gnash after him. It didn't take long for Gnash to capture his prey, but before thrashing the rabbit to its death, Gnash looked into it's eyes, dropped it and ordered him to run away.
