(You know like a static shock, so its bascily worthless on stuff other than machines), The EMP Psy-blast can work on non machines, but just pushes them back a bit. He was raised by humans, so he is fully clothed. Items & Weapons: Wrench, GMW-057 (G.U.N. Mobile Walker, designed himself) Vehicles: GMW-057 (G.U.N. Mobile Walker, designed himself). It can change from walker to jet mode. A step above Heavy Dog. Themesong: Daft Punk - Face To Face Axel was created in a laboratory somewhere deep in Prison Island along with his brother Blast. G.U.N. scientist Professor Kane Juleano, along with a few of his colleagues found the files from the mysterious “Project Shadow” and almost followed the exact same steps, about forty five years after Space Colony ARK was deactivated, to create the perfect weapon. However some say that Juleano, with is old age, really wanted to create a son for himself. When the process was complete, there were two beings, one an anthropomorphic hedgehog, looked in his mid teens, and an anthropomorphic binturong baby. The hedgehog called himself Blast, went out of control, and nearly destroyed the whole facility as he ran away laughing manically. After the damage was cleaned up, many scientists wanted the binturong locked up, in fear that what Blast did, he would do as well. Juleano however told them not to worry, adopted him, and named him Axel. For all his life Axel lived in Prison Island, with his father Juleano, and loved him deeply. When Axel was seven, he showed a great likening to robotics, and created his fist. G.U.N. staff was impressed, and sent it on the field as the Mono Beetle, a robot they still use to this very day. A special power was developing in him, a power to control electrical devises with his mind, but do to his young age, he used it for immature pranks, but nothing damaging. When he was ten, the whole base realized it was him, and he was put into lockdown for a few hours as punishment, because of his recent prank, they almost lost files for an experiment. A few days later he figured out what he wanted to do in his life, follow the footsteps of his human father; to become a G.U.N. scientist in the area of robotics. He tried to apply, but sadly was turned down due to his age, but promised a position when he was old enough to. His 15th birthday was full of grief. His father, at the age of 81, passed away due to natural causes. He did not want to die hiding any secrets from his own son, so he told him of his creation, of his brother Blast, how he almost ended up killing them all. Sadden by this, the loss of his father; he went down a spiral of despair for the next two years. He viewed himself as a monster, an abomination. He wanted to be left alone; even his friends could not get to him. Now at the age of seventeen, he finally managed to get over it, and has become a full fledge member of G.U.N. Thanks, I wanted my first fan character to be a good one. And for some reason I kinda like binturongs... Even tho not many know what one is. Altho I have a feeling I kinda broke some sonic fan rules... I. My guy was created in a lab, the same way Shadow was. (So somehow you could say he's related to Shadow, but I woudn't) II. He was raised by humans (A fan character should not have a love intrest or be realted to humans.) III. He is fully clothed (Males are never fully clothed, but then again he was rasied by humans, and yet again breaking II.) IV. He works for G.U.N. (Just found out that Shadow, Rouge, and E-123 work for G.U.N. so I could be called copycating.) V. His father is dead, and brother's location is unknown (Never kill off somone related to the character, but the fact he was old... well it was bound to happen.) But I really dont know... I. Seeing as how he wasn't created by Dr. Gerald, or at the ARK, I wouldn't consider him related to Shadow. II-The being raised by human thing I understand, but what's wrong with giving a fan character a love interest. As long as he's not paired up with an offical character, I see nothing wrong with that. III-I see nothing wrong with this one, either. While the male cast in the games are never shown as fully clothed, I think it's fine for fan characters. IV. While it doesn't matter to me whether or not he works for G.U.N, I see your point. |

Nice work, The back story obviously took some time, and yeah, he is kinda related to shadow, but not really a problem. You should get a picture commissioned for his body and head though, It's kinda herd for me to picture both when they're in two different pictures. |

Though the concept is somewhat like Shadow, you do get the feeling that it's Shadow. The back story seemed to have stopped pretty quickly, but it's not really a worry to me. |

Heh, I might wanna link a page to what a Binturong is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binturong Well Axel deals with electronics, and has the ability to control them, so I thought thoes attacks would define themselfs in our electronic world. The Electrical Surge, basicly it overloads the object with power, frying the circuits. It could work on non machines, but only a slight shock is felt for them. (You know like a static shock, so its bascily worthless on stuff other than machines) The EMP Psy-blast can shut down anything electronical, while knocking them back a distance (On things that are not machines, it just knocks them back) Weaknesses, well the lack in combat knowledge would work for him. But other than that, I dont know. Prehaps out the power's weakness as well? Vechile/Weapon. Yea, but his mech aint that big, its about as big as the EggWalker. Prehaps just a bit bigger. The knife, your right. And about him like Shadow, the only thing I see thats the same is that he was created in a lab. Other than that nothing. He does not control the power of Chaos, he is not an anti-hero, but there might be others, so could you explain a bit more? |

Nice species (I do love bintys xD). I'd say the character generator doesn't do him justice. At all. xD;; Where'd you get these rules of fanchars from, anyhoo? I barely agree with them (like I'm some authority on character making 9_9) I. Cast-relations: Not related to Shadow, but the lab-experiment is overused, especially in his history, which is very similar to Shadow's regardless. II. Family: I've never heard of the human-mobian relationship barrier before. It probably only developed over the whole Sonic-Elise thing, and that's just silly. Go ahead and have your charrie raised by whatever you want them to be raised by. =P Conversely, same for romance xD;; III. Clothes: ... Yeah; I'm not sure who made these rules, but I've never heard of anyone ranting about males wearing clothes. Besides, the male cast does wear clothes on occasion. And, from a societal point-of-view, clothes are a form of expression, anyway. They're not always as practical as they are asthetic, so why shouldn't a mobian be able to wear clothes? IV. GUN: xD GUN is an ARMY. I can see if you put Axel in some Spec Ops division with Shadow and Rouge and Omega; that would break the comradeship rule, but if Axel is just a soldier in a trans-nation army, I don't see what the big deal would be =P. V. Death: Death by old age can't really be avoided, I never hold that against someone unless the context is all kinds of whacked up. As for missing older brother? Ehhh. The "evil twin/sibling" thing is what makes it a bad-ish choice. Aaaaannnyhoo. Yeah. Kudos for not making him an emokid though. His appearance... well, to be honest, his looks a lot like a hedgehog, but that may just me being biased to the muzzle and fused eyes. o3o;;!!! ... And his tail. He's a binty! Gib him is long prehensile fuzzy-wuzzy same-length-as-body tail! xD;; EDIT: The reasons I compare him to Shadow is because, not only were they both created in a lab, but they were created by an old scientist funded (or at least supported) by GUN, based on Gerald's blue prints for Shadow. Thanks, I do agree, the Character generator does NOT do him justice. I just used it for his clothes is all. I do like how his real head is, but if you were to see it, its more like Knuckle's muzzle than a Hedgehog's. And Axel's name doubles as what he does, and a real name. So it has the best of both worlds. The rules, well I got it from a Deviant art, and that Mobius website with the template. I. I get your point, but unlike Shadow, Axel is basicly a living Pinocchio. He WAS created becouse the scientist wanted a son... Shadow was created as the ultimate weapon/cure. II. Well really nothing to say here, as I agree 100% III. Same again... agree 100% IV. Yea, but Axel isnt even a soldier in G.U.N., he followed his fathers footseps, and became a scientist, but in the field of robotics. And plus, with his powers, it helps him even more. V. The evil brother, well he is not really evil. When I RP as Axel, you'll see... He just tested out his powers... His name IS Blast after all... Yea, he is far from an emokid, anithero, ect. I know about the apperence, he is still being worked on in 3D, and you only saw the front view. Dont worry, his tail will be long and bushy, and like realy Binturongs, he uses it as a third hand.
