I came in here to laugh at the stupid whiney steam people who are boycotting this game(Note: just the people who are boycotting) all over thinking this game should be DLC for the first one and isn't worth $60 or enough to be a sequel. I mean seriously, that is ridiculous. I probably won't get this game for 360 or PC, but just accept that you have to pay for it... :|

Bowie you are delusional and you have your facts way off. First of all Valve is not affiliated or tied to Microsoft in any one way. They are not second party like Insomniac is to Sony, they are PC developers and considering that the 360 is basically just a PC is why they port their games to that system. I have no respect for Valve, despite liking their games. They are arrogant and their latest comment was hilarious. They claim that the PS3 is "too" complicated and then go on to say they have the most talented developers out there. If that were so why is their parent company, EA, able to make PS3 games and they aren't? Valve has said in their latest statement it isn't because they are too small. They should just say what they mean and say, "We don't want to learn the PS3's architecture and that is why we aren't making PS3 games". They really make themselves look arrogant and foolish especially when many developers that are independent have come out and said it isn't difficult.

Second of all Microsoft did not "steal" MGS, MGS2 was on the original Xbox and that was a bigger deal than the 360 getting a spinoff, especially considering that the real MGS sequel worked on by the core MGS team is exclusive to PSP. That's like saying getting Resident Evil Outbreak on PS2 was a big blow to Nintendo when they had the main series exclusive, but I guess these things are only apparent to you when you think they are in your favor?

As for them echoing? Yeah maybe if it were 2006, but those claims have stopped and there have been more saying it's not hard to develop for which makes Valve look foolish and outdated. They have not even attempted to make a game for PS3 so they have no room to speak in the first place.

And I gotcha man I just wanted to be sure since I did bring up how I thought it was a bad move, but they will make their money and hopefully the sequel will actually have more value than the original in the long run.
