Posts: 632 Group: S-Rank Soldier Member #1,573 Joined: July 2, 2007 Gender: Male Favorite System: Xbox 360 Current Mood: Bored :D	Hello there my fellow people, my name is Chaos also knows as CS here (Seriously need to change this name) Ok better yet call me Count Waltz, and as your king I will tell you what you shall do (xD) So anyway, I am here to present you.... YOUR GOD! So anyway I am here to explain a few things and also help you young ones to try and create a better, and more unique character, Now I may not be the best at giving advice to people since I can be a meanie at times, and also because I don't know everything of the English language since I am Dominican, but I'll see if I can prevent myself from trying to get someone mad, alright? Okay than, it settles it, lets get things started. Rule 1: There is no such thing as original, please if you are hearing someone that says that word next to character than it's a lie. You cannot say that you thought up this character in your head, why? well explain yourself how you got those ideas from the first place? Yes thats right, you did not thought of them on your mind, your brain will memorize things that you have seen, or heard from the past, and it will stay inside until you are able to make it reappear. Another reason why I can say their is no such thing as in original is that all different types of personalities were already taken away from many games before, take Namco games for example, now they have many different types of personatilys, and to be honest all the characters that I have seen from first to now have some type of personality from one of them or maybe more. This also goes for history by the way, no one here, or anywhere has a original. Now don't think that your character is nothing but a worthless copy of someone because that is not true because this is creatively comes in, and yes this is acceptable when you see someone say "Creatively" next to character. creatively is when you think of random thoughts, or random people and try to mix them up to make something good, it's like making a ham and cheese sandwich, you see now that is something really good instead of eating a single bread, right? I mean think about, ESCALLY to ones that play different types of RPG games like Tales of destiny, of Final Fantasy, etc, you know you have a few people that you like, why not steal a part of their feelings, add some stuff to it and than mix it with other different personalities? Sounds like a good idea, don't you think? Rule two: (Boy will this be hard) No recolors, seriously just no... you will just look like another Sonic, Shadow, Sliver, tails, Blaze (It never ends O_o) and trust me that is not a good sign for people to accept you in other sites, I don't understand why that SB does not approve characters and such, but what can I, the King do about that? It's their territory, and I cannot control it what so ever. So that is why I am here, to try and talk some sense out of ya that a recolor won't look good in a picture, so lets start this step by step, shall we? 1st: Pick a color. Yep thats right, just pick the color you seem to like the best for the fur, it isn't really a hard job everyone has done it before, I mean seriously name me one guy that was never able to have a color fur for their character? Don't worry I'll wait. Oh, please note that after you do this, stop and think, do you want to add something around his body? Want to give him a tattoo? a cut? A mark? this can be optional, but if you like to add something on his fur than go and do it, it makes me more excited to see how good your character looks. 2nd: Spines, hair style, etc. Hey wait a minute, you cannot possibly tell me you are going to have the same looking spines as Shadow, or Sonic. Stop for a minute and think about it because this is one of the things that people have trouble in, and trust me even I had a hard time with it. So think, what will make your spines different... why note try and low them to the bottom of his head, or maybe have something up front, if not than give him some hair, sounds good to me. Doing that will surly make everyone see that you are making a good character so far, but it isn't over just let, there is still some stuff left Rule 3, 4, and 5 will come soon, but I need to hear some voices.

Look to the animal's natural abilities. For example, you've chosen a chameleon as a FC. Why not list the camouflage ability they are all so well known for? (Still don't know why Sega ever used that for Espio). It beats the cliche control over elements anyday. Personalities, everyone has them. But it seems to me that everywhere I look there is a FC that is extremely serious, stone cold, and equipped with a killer instinct. The point of the personality is to set aside it's respective character as unique. Throw in a couple of odd habits to spice it up. Some of them can come from you Example: My fanchar Steel (who I've yet to post) has an addiction to the spicy chewing gum that is Big Red. He can't go an hour without at least 2 pieces of it's flavor. He's been known to carry a slice of watermelon for a snack before he goes out on a mission and he reads the Bible everyday for 3 hours. Where did all these habits come from? ME! I'll post up some more if I can. I hoped it helped.
