Which company do you think does a better job in making Sonic games? SEGA of America or SEGA of Japan? :)

I think Japan did better between 1996 and 2004. America did better in the beggining and end.

America screwed up for Sonic's 5th anniversary. Japan Screwed up Sonic's 15th.

America brought back Sonic with Unleashed if you ask me. America seemed like they did the game. Japan just implemented Chip and the Werehog. If I'm wrong, just tell me.

Japan Does better with voice acting and Music now, America deos better with gameplay and storylines. In the 90's, Japan was just better. XD in the late 00's, America's just better. So I pick "They're equal" on the vote.

And for god's sake, no flaming or trolling or anything that violates the rules in any way, shape, or form, or I will report your post and request an immediate warning.

I'm watching specifically on Snooky, RaDaR, and Ray. Shut you fat mouths in this topic. Have a conversation, not a flame war.
Snooky: If you'r gonna talk about 06, don't use capital letters all the time, and don't constantly say Sonic 06 sucks in different wording on the same post.
RaDaR: You seem to get in the middle of Flamewars, don't do it.
Ray: Don't bash Unleashed. You can say you don't like it, but give an explanation.
Everybody: STAY ON G*DDAMN TOPIC! >:( I'm done with my rules request, have a nice f**king day.

I still can't use this.

SoA produced Sonic Adventure 2, Heroes, and Shadow.

SoJ produced Sonic 1, Sonic CD, S&K, Sonic Adventure, Sonic '06, and Sonic Unleashed.

2 and 3 were joint efforts between the two branches.

SoJ has done the most for the franchise in that they've produced a greater number of works, have produced the most amount of well-received Sonic titles, and are developing the continuity under the Japanese canon. The series is pretty much theirs which is all the more apparent since the American Sonic Team is, well, gone.

But on a subjective note, America did produce Adventure 2 which is heavily at odds with my favoring of Unleashed, although I still feel the latter edges it out. I may play the two side by side one day to really compare and contrast them, but until then, SoJ for me.

I don't really think I can choose between the two. SoJ and SoA are both part of the same entity and you can't deny that both branches bounced ideas off of eachother when they both existed.

They all had their shining moments and blooper reel outtakes, as any game division does.

The bad outweighs the good.

They're equal for me. They both made good and bad games. And both made some of my favorites. So I can't really choose.

From what I've heard, a lot of people like Sa2 more than Sa. Heroes was the perfect kids game, and that's not an insult. I liked shadow, and I feel like i'm alone on that. XD
Sonic 1. First sonic game I played. "duh!" Sonic cd, known as the best sonic game of all time, but I like Sonic 3 and Knuckles more. Sonic 06. No. Sonic Unleashed is just friggin great. :D
I'm playing it right now.

Minus the fact that SoA's Sonic Team doesn't exist anymore.. meaning SoJ's Sonic Team has done just fine without it's cross-world counterpart.

SoA has got congratulations from X-play, being that their 2007 game were crap, but in early 2008, they released 4 games in 2 or 3 months, all of them getting 4/5 on Xplay.

That dosen't change the fact that SA1 was a good game and that Snooky saying that Sega of America is better just because Japan produced Sonic 06.

That doesn't change the fact that Sonic Adventure 2 was better than 1 and thus it makes SEGA of America better.
