As Entek focused upon the husky, the illusion of Nittale slowly faded until he saw the real person whom he was staring at. His mind filled with confusion, but a sudden burst of fire wrapping around his feet caused him to come back to his senses. "You done day dreaming or what? Gibberish is talking his weird talk again." Kane informs him, making Entek take note of the chants being preformed. He got ready and wrapped his fist with fire as he slid his feet back into his fighting stance. "What the heck?" Entek utters to himself as Auriel chanted several different chants. Just when he thought the guy was done, more words flowed out in an odd and unsettling rhythm. "Move." Another voice spoke to Entek through thought, causing him to suddenly dash off on foot to his right. His feet were still wrapped with fire, leaving a trail of fire behind him as he moved with speed. He soon leaps onto a table and races for the wall. Once he reached it, he used his momentum to help him move from running on the table to running on the wall by twisting his body accordingly. Once on the wall he continued with out slowing down much. His goal, was to travel along the wall until he lined himself up with his target. |

Launch Base Act 2
|
What the hell.. What the fudge!? The Dragon awoke from his meditation. The constant uproar of his fellow contestants was too much for him to ignore. The reptile placed one fist into the ground balancing his sleepy legs to hold him up to his feet. He growled like a starving belly as he took a look for the first time of what exactly was going on. They were fighting.. No surprise there, but a brawl of some sort? "Now what sparked this sudden chaos..?" He asked himself. Focusing both hands and shooting them downward. A flow of wind surged around him and was unleashed as a shockwave. Getting a feel for his ki. He took in a deep breath and out stretched a hand. A tornado began to whirl to life in his right palm. After a second or so he crushed it. But the fluctuation of wind began to whirl viciously. Soon a clear twister had formed in the middle of the cafeteria. Pulling in all of the contestants, whether a part of the brawl or not. Rai stood in the middle of it. Edited by Rai, Sep 28 2009, 03:26 PM.

Blaire had causally been watching the metabrawl, hoping she wouldn't be drawn into it. Aside from a large bruise on her side, and minor ones on her leg and shoulder, she was no more worse for the wear. And she wanted it to stay that way. But, she ended up being drawn into something anyway. But it wasn't a fist fight, oh no. Blaire felt herself being pulled into a swiraling twister that had just been recently conjured up by Rai. "Oh come on!" the dog exclaimed, flying into the cyclone. |

Sandopolis Act 2
|
"Now tell your stomach to hold on tighter when you're taken from place to place..." The host's voice echoed in Taylor's ears as he was returned to the cafeteria. It's not exactly like I'm used to having my soul yo-yoed from my body. This may be a hell dimension, but I got my limits, he thought. Something else had registered in his mind; that Sadistic had commented on him actually killing his opponent. Does that mean none of the others..!? They left their foes to the mercy of... of... those things? All of a sudden, something snapped Taylor from his reverie. It was that violet dragon. And he'd whipped up a twister. He grabbed for something, anything that was fixed to the ground. He had no luck, and was dragged towards the vortex. "Jeez, dragon! What are you thinking!?" He yelled, in a probably-futile attempt to be heard over the gale. |
| Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk. | |

The abrupt microburst threw Auriel off balance, against the nearby wall. The impact caused his grasp on the string to loosen, and in that instant, the water arrow let fly. In the end, science is simple in its philosophy explaining the way things work. In a way, magic also took its cue from the path once walked predominantly by science. In the period of apprenticeship undertaken by Steppenwolf, Auriel's father, the distilled enlightened science practiced by the Echidnas of the Floating Island mingled freely with the teaching and ritual of the fire-ant, Christopheles, resulting in something entirely new; flexible and prolific, yet still dangerous. Science taught that the phenomenon of lightning is an atmospheric discharge of electricity, spawned during a thunderstorm; an bridge born of statically charged dust or electrons connects the earth below to the clouds above, and the resulting fire - the electric bolt - races up the bridge toward the heavens. In magic, it is explained more simply: Water sets the foundation, Earth conducts the spark, and fire spans the bridge. The water arrow's path curved up on an errant trajectory, affected by the elemental tornado. Striking high on the wall a few feet from Entek, the water arrow dissipated, and in the same instant, the combined elements of Fire, Water and Earth combined in the creation of a Thunderstorm Lightningbolt, created entirely from Chaos Energy. An explosion of bright light and sound engulfed the cafeteria in less than half a second, blinding everyone who hadn't had their eyes closed, and deafening the entire room, leaving the cafeteria occupants with a ringing in their ears, and not much else. Real lightning achieves flash temperatures approaching 30,000 degrees Celsius, hot enough to melt sand to glass; it also achieves speeds of 60,000 meters per second traveling from its start point to its terminus. While not near the same scale as actual lightning, to the occupants of the room, it might as well been. The dragon in the center of the room stretched out his hand, and Auriel roared, "GODDAMNED DRAGON!! WHY DOES YER RACE ALWAYS FEEL IT NECESSARY T' HALT BATTLES WITH A BATTLE O' YER OWN?!" The dragon held a miniature tornado in his outstretched hand for a moment, then crushed it in a clenched fist. The microburst intensified and began to swirl in the same manner as the miniature tornado had. In its wake, the occupants were helpless. Due to his weight, Auriel didn't quite achieve flight, and he let himself be dragged along feet first; flexing his knees would let him avoid the worst of injuries when he came to impact against certain hard objects, though he couldn't account for when someone or something fell on him. Auriel held the elemental bow close to his chest. Aurora, thank ye fer yer aid. In a gleam of sparkling light, the longbow dissipated into various glowing embers of Chaos Energy. The tables and benches scraped along the sides of the cafeteria, and Auriel found himself suspended above the floor, wedged inbetween pieces of heavy furniture. A bench jammed itself into the flotsam below Auriel's fleet and flipped up, and an instant before it struck Auriel's face, he blocked it with an arm. Grunting with the effort, buffeting the table against the winds, Auriel snarled against the elements: Aurora, Goddess o' th' Dawn, mistress of the sky, You who make th' earth an' air tremble wit' yer voice, Oi yer servant call upon yer awesome pow'r. The tornado whirling about the cafeteria began to softly glow, and visibly began to curl about Auriel's outstretched hand. Pow'r that howls, in Aurora's name Oi call, Cease yer rage and return to me, An' wit' yer aid, my enemies will fall. In common thinking, it's far easier to destroy than to create, to dispel than to craft. As the wind cycled through the cafeteria, flowing over and under Auriel's outstretched arm, it left a visible trail in the tornado; in its passing, the energy creating the wind was dispelled and absorbed. It would take several revolutions for the tornado to finally subside, but with each revolution about the cafeteria, past Auriel's arm, the tornado began losing its potency. A burst of luminosity and reverberation engulfed Blaire, temporarily blinding and deafening her. When the dog's senses returned to her, a horrible sensation of scalding pain had begun to course through her body. The husky had to clench her teeth to avoid crying out from the sting she felt. "Okay, now this is getting beyond ridiculous," the Mobian mentally complained, all the while continuing to swirl around in that tornado, bumping into several of her fellow combatants. "Not to mention extremely annoying." Suddenly, the Siberian Husky felt herself being slowly pulled down to the ground as the tornado continued to dissipate. A smirk of satisfaction growing on her face, the husky placed her legs underneath her, the soles of her boots hitting the floor soon after. The twister had not faded away completely, but it was weakened in a way that allowed Blaire to pull herself out. Free from the confines of the cyclone, the dog stepped away. She then began to check herself for any sort of damage and found that parts of her violet-hued fur had been dyed a scorched black, courtesy of getting cooked alive in a swirling oven. "Well, this is juuuuuuust great...." Blaire muttered, feeling a bit woozy from the heat. "I think I need to cool off...." As she said those words, her fingers pressed a few buttons on her Cyrokinetic Bangle. The gauge, a crimson red color, began to increase. "I just hope I won't have to use my actual Cyrokinesis except in my matches..." (Bangle Charge: 0%) Edited by HollyYoshi, Sep 30 2009, 07:47 AM.

Launch Base Act 2

A blinding light was unleashed. Oh how he hated these forms of trickery. Light was his enemy on the bases his eyes were sensitive. He rubbed them and looked up, nothing was done to stop his vortex for now. So he resumed within it. Everything outside of it being distorted to blurs. However he could still make out the silhouettes of the items and contestants being pulled inward. For those who had no object to keep them pinned there was no hope, unless they weren't in the immediate area. "GODDAMNED DRAGON!! WHY DOES YER RACE ALWAYS FEEL IT NECESSARY T' HALT BATTLES WITH A BATTLE O' YER OWN?!" "Oh-ho." The foolish talking armored one. He seemed to be a magic conjurer. Chanting with sudden hexes being unleashed, not in the exact same fashion but the gist of it was similar. He managed to stop the twister, with some seconds of effort of course. How good it must of felt to be absent from the flesh, no fatigue. As he watched in impressed awe of Auriel's work he lifted a smirk onto his face. "Impressive." However immediately after the knight was finished with doing away with his twister the Dragon unfolded his arms. Out stretching his right hand aiming to grip onto his neck. Attempting to leave him with no reaction time given this was done directly after he was finished with his little display. After gripping his neck he would attempt to lift him off his feet, of course the effort would be greater. The severe amount of armor he wore would put a strain on his muscles. However he was used to lifting much heavier things, this was nothing. "But not good enough to scare me.." |

Flying Battery Act 2

I really hope these guys...whoever they are, end up fighting each other in the next match. That way we'll only have to deal with one of them. And please let it be the dragon dude who gets eliminated. The knight dude's at least looking out for the rest of us... Nail hid behind the bar as the fight and then the tornado had overtaken the cafeteria. Honestly, he saw no shame in hiding in battle or using retreat as a strategy. His entire profession revolved around it, more or less. In gunfights, the guy who usually stood honorably got shot first. Survival was much more important than honor, especially since he had children. But with the tornado gone...Rai had left himself open now that he was going after Auriel. Nail could not conjure magic, but his method of fighting was definitely much more efficient and clean. So...drawing his pistol...he let his arms rest on the wooden bar and took careful aim...before squeezing the trigger. A 5.7 armor piercing bullet neatly cut through the air...heading straight for the dragon's leg. It was a cripple shot. Considering Rai was focusing entirely on Auriel, there was very little chance he'd see the fox in the back taking potshots. Especially when that fox was one of the best shots in the world. |

Sandopolis Act 2

Taylor had ended up, as the twister had weakened, at the opposite wall of the chamber. He saw Auriel, then Nail, take on Rai in their own ways. That guy who did that invocation... Seems like an interesting dude to take in the arena. Who am I kidding? I barely made it against my first foe. That fox fella looks, what, former, maybe current military? Admittedly, I'm not new to fighting, but he's undoubtedly a professional. And I'm taking him on next. I should only hope it'll be short... though our hosts will probably force us to draw it out for a show... Taylor didn't want to carry on that train of thought. So he diverted himself by firing a shot of his own an instant after Nail, intentionally missing Rai, but drawing the dragon's ire from Nail. "Yo scaly!" He shouted. |

Two shots, ofcourse one was enough to freeze the reptile's movements. The bullet grazed his leg. Perhaps simple luck that it didn't get a direct shot, because his leg shifted as he tried to grip for Auriel. Then a second shot whizzed but his dome. A bleeding leg was enough to get his attention, turning to see the suspected culprit. "Yo scaly!" It was the human. Given the array of creatures that were present here in this tournament he found the human to be a rare sight. Now he was targeting him? How foolish, he'd snap him like a twig. Losing his interest in Auriel he turned his attention to Taylor. Darting off with a dash toward him. His wings expanded as he took flight, pulling from it's holster his plasma pistol. Returning fire as he aimed to fly over Taylor. Four shots. |

Sandopolis Act 2

After the fight the Akashi found himself back in the cafeteria. The tiger looked around. “So I’m back in this place again.” Akashi began to walk around the cafeteria and saw the other fighters in the tournament. “I guess these are the winners of their fights too’” The tiger stopped walking and began to think about the next fight where would it be and would it be more challenging than the last. |

A shot rang out. Bang Then another. Bang Two bullets carved through the wraithlike atmosphere of the eatery, much like arrow would a bulls eye. Unlike the arrow, however, both of the bullets had built more than enough velocity so that when, or if they chiseled nine millimeter holes in their targets, more than likely they would keep traveling. At least until friction lowered their speeds to hard zeros, that is. Blaire watched this little gun slinging fracas, clearly impressed by Nail's prowess with a gun. In fact, seeing the 5.7 graze Rai's leg actually made the Siberian Husky wish she had brought her own p250 SIG SAUER to the tournament. Normally, the violet furred candid only used her black metallic gun on missions she took for the O.R.D, and even then she hardly used it. But, with all the firearms she'd seen, and the questionable mercifulness of some fighters, Blaire felt that having a nice long range attack, that did not have a temperature requisite, might have done her some good. "Well, nothing I can do about it now," the experienced Division Agent mused, a light chuckle escaping her elongated muzzle as she shook her head. She then returned her attention back to the match, her cobalt blues just then catching the sight of an airborne Rai firing off a quadruple dose of plasma shots. (10%) |

It hadn't mattered how Taylor ducked or dodged. He'd ended up with a nasty burn on his arm and almost got knocked to the floor by Rai. But all burns were the same, no matter how they were inflicted. He could handle burns. His answer to Rai's charge would be a glowing-hot bullet shot at the dragon's wing. The reasonable part of his mind indicated that he should be recovering his strength for the next match, not wearing himself down further with this distraction. Too late for it now. |

((Question is do we even feel pain while in our spirits.)) The Dragon saw the shot aimed and launched. Reacting the best he could he attempted to maneuver himself through the air with a intentional direction shifting breeze. Only half effected however, the shot still hitting his wing but the lower edge of it. Like a cut on the bottom of a piece of paper. A small trickle of blood flowed before Rai folded his wings. Heading directly for Taylor through a plummet. Returning his pistol to it's holster now he summoned a vortex of wind to surround his person. Light in density. Whether landing on his feet first or not he aimed a solid punch at Taylor, if he was capable of getting close. Edited by Rai, Sep 30 2009, 11:41 AM.

[I'd say it's completely up to you. However remember all the effort you put in now means less energy to fight with in the next round: I've noticed TF is keeping out of the fighting, and I am too for the very same reason - saving myself for the main event. A shame I'm not fighting one of you lot, to be frank. Although this is highly entertaining, keep it up ]A flashing of a toilet could be heard if you were close enough to the far end of the cafeteria - perhaps Nail, sheltered behind the bar, could catch it with his sharpened senses. A clanging came from the same direction, swiftly followed by a boot to the door as Lord Adokas came out, wafting one hand gently behind him whilst the other one adjusted his waistline. "HOOOOO I wouldn't go in-" the possum stopped short, as he saw the madness unfolding before him. His hand froze in mid-air as he contemplated his options briefly, before taking a step back and grabbing the handle. "Seat's still warm, is it? Thanks mate," the possum said to an imaginary soul, clambering back inside and closing the door. |
